*I've completed all these shows, and they all have an 8 except for Goblin and IOTL (which have 10s) and thats b/c they all had something that stood out to me and made me feel connected to it but the drama wasn't great overall, everyone has different opinions obviously lol
*All of these dramas tackle completely different types of story plots and they're either hate it or love it dramas because a lot of people don't like complicated storylines and Goblin, IOTL, and Pinocchio definitely have complicated storylines that people need to pay attention to or they'll get bored b/c they won't understand all the tiny details. But I love complicated, intricate storylines to keep me guessing or stories that tackle issues such as mental illnesses with IOTL thats hard to execute.
Others have stated DOTS and The Heirs....I watched the Heirs and suffered so anybody who dropped it I give y'all high fives lol
DOTS on the other hand I fell into the hype haha I just like military settings and the couple was very realistic, not over the top in the slightest.(i really want someone to explain to me why they think DOTS is so horrible, how else was dude supposed to express his love in a dangerous setting like that? you have a women who knows what she wants, a guy who loves his job and understands the implications of it and a couple of misunderstandings. like strip it of its high budget and the international villain you're left with a normal Korean drama that a lot of people give 10s to, i don't understand lol) y'all give 10s to dramas where guys are complete douchbags *cough* BOF *cough* but DOTS is overhyped haha
Shows I've Dropped that People Love
-Tomorrow's Cantabile (the Japanese version was way better)
-Cheese in the Trap
I liked the difference of this article, just didn't know what to read in order lol but in the end nice article. Gong Yoo has stole my heart once again in Goblin, he's so handsome ^^
this is the most chaotic thing ive read in my entire life you should've just written it like a normal human…
There is also something called 'constructive criticism' which means you can be critical but in a nice way...as so: you did something very different, but for future reference how about making it easier for people to read, like putting the tiles in order or something.
I liked it. just didn't know what to read in order....also it doesn't mean she doesnt care about other peoples opinions, it would just be nice if y'all weren't so rude about it. you could have definitely went on with your opinion without saying 'oh wait, you don't care about those' all sarcastically at the end.
I'm interested in all the action ones because romances are becoming too cliche, no new storylines just same old office workers but roles are just switched...Tomorrow with You has potential though if they can execute it right.
I guess either a lot of people don't know or just rather the ending not seem like the real life story but…
that is the main thing I knew would change ^^ it wouldn't make sense for all that hardship for her not have his child. but in real life it is sadder that she never had a child at all.
they really make Kim Go Eun look like a high schooler, I forgot she was 25 lol and dark hair suites her waaay better than that horrid orange hair in Cheese in the Trap lol
I guess either a lot of people don't know or just rather the ending not seem like the real life story but these characters are all real in history (WY, Tuoba Jun and his uncle) and contrary to the show (making its own storyline and so forth) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Empress_Feng_(Wencheng)
Just reading her article will show that the drama was really close in how her life went but with filled in detail and the secret identity thing not being real. She did outlive her husband and ruled by her stepchild's side (she never did have a child with Jun, but he did have one with consort Li). In real life she was just as smart and strong.
So the drama is pretty accurate ^^ I'm satisfied and will add it to my top 10 :D
Wow so many Suzy haters lol i love how a drama is always pre-determined by the cast before it even comes out, how about we just actually wait to see how they portray their characters, that seems like a good idea -_-
If you're not into politics don't watch the show. Many people think this is unrealistic but nobody knows the background of politics unless you are directly involved. I'm a political science major, and even though they are dramatizing the politics more, I can tell you right now the things they do in this drama happen in real life and all over the world for people to gain power. They will hide, cheat, and manipulate any piece of information to get y'all to vote for them (not every politician is like this) but this is real and gives you a pretty good depiction of what happens in nations with corrupt politics.
Moving on, the romance is cute and the villain is one you don't know whether to love or hate, she is so conflicting that I scream at her sometimes but then cry with her as well. Waiting for next weeks episodes :D
I'm not done with it yet, but reading the comments, I wish people would take the realism out of this drama. It is fantasy, there are going to be conceptions that can only happen in a fantasy world. Take the realism out of this show and you'd probably enjoy it more. I'm not confused one bit honestly.
Kang Chul developed a mind of his own, he wanted to live so he dragged the nearest person he could find and that happened to be Yeon Joon. She only enters the comic when he thinks about her, she only leaves when his emotions suddenly change or if something significant happens to Kang Chul. If Kang Chul is not the main character none of the other characters have purpose and can disappear.
The killer never existed because he was never a conceivable character, he only showed up when the author needed him to. Yet, since he was such a big part of what Kang Chul became since he killed his family, he also developed a strong mindset and wanted to know who he is and why he was doing what he was told to do. What is there not to understand? Honestly, you're not going to like it if you only came for the romance, there's some dark shyt going on in this show like identity issues...
Seeing so many negative opinions about this drama why ratings are 8.9? I watched this drama in two days. Watching…
For the door question...there was still a room behind the wall, meaning there was still a door there as well. The walls purpose was to keep Kang Chul hidden, that was its main purpose after she erased the door on the outside but there was still a door on the inside...once he left, there was no purpose for the wall to hide the door or the room so its whole purpose was abandoned and therefore the whole room vanished as well. It's a fantasy conception, leave realism out of it for a second. To rephrase myself, he still exists behind the wall in that room making the room and the wall exclusively a part of the world for Kang Chul, the walls sole 'reason' is to keep him hidden and the rooms 'reason' changes from a simple hotel room to a room that needs to keep him hidden once she erases the outside door. Once he leaves, the existence of both disappears so they disappear from the comic all together.
I split long dramas into seasons like in American shows, if it has over 100 episodes i just think that there are five 20 episode seasons. I'll watch the first 20 eps and then watch another drama and then go back and watch another 20 like when I wait for Game of Thrones to come on every year lol .
i don't mean to be picky but i did cringe a bit at the usage of terms like noona and dongsaeng on japanese dramas.…
Yeah I was confused when I saw noona/dongsaeng when they were japanese dramas. I understand everyone knows about the titles of korean relationships but japan has their own terms too that should be used with their respective dramas.
