I can never accept the Korean BOF, it was long and unbearable and I still have not completely watched it till this day. Hana Yori Dango's storyline is indeed about a horrible manipulative relationship but it is a drama that many OG watchers started with but I rather sit through the original Japanese version since its straight to the point, and nobody can pull off the poodle look like Matsumoto Jun lol
it also makes me happy that Goong was my first Korean drama before BOF, i probably wouldn't have given anything else a chance lol
-Heirs was definitely painful but I stuck through because I just like PSH...
-TTBY....never ever again will I go through that. Hana Kimi wasn't that great either but it was better than whatever SM tried to do with TTBY. There was no reason to make the dorms so flashy, in the original you felt a connection to the characters because the dorms were cramped and they had to see each other all the time in such close spaces but the korean version was trying too hard.
BIG was a waste of time, I could not sit through Cheese in the Trap, The Producers, Tomorrow's Cantabile (Korean), and Beautiful Gong Shim.
People don't know Narimiya Hiroki? Like he is the best and I will need people to step their game up lol ^^ we've had long chats about how both of us don't really follow actresses but Shinohara Ryoko is a gem I'm happy we found together in Last Cinderella :D
I guess you're itching to get the Youtube channel started so we can do this on camera together ^^ i loved this article and i'm happy you became a writer up here ^_^ our first video should be our top 10 favorite japanese actors!
It was about time someone talked about how amazing J-dramas can be...there will be busts like K-dramas as well but there has been no reason to give up on J-dramas, they have this feel to them that I can't get out of a K-drama. When I'm in a slump I always can a find a J-drama that will fill in the gap. They are the perfect length, they tell the story and leave you with enough to be satisfied, I sometimes find myself dragging with korean dramas and I hate that feeling I get in the middle of the shows, lets say around ep 10-13 where I want it to hurry up and give me the ending but I'm left with all these misunderstandings and have 4 more episodes to get through.
I'm not into police dramas but it has Seo In Guk! dammit, looks like i'll be watching a majority of these dramas. All of my fav actors and actresses are making come backs haha
At first I was like 'meh' but then I saw Oguri Shun and was like definitely to watch list lol love him! but i'm still not sure about a Gintama film, i've only watched about 10 episodes but it seems like a hard execution for a film
Other than people complaining about the ages, i see excellent actors who are doing their damn best to give us an awesome drama sooo other than the transfer of babies part freaking me out, i'm looking forward to this weeks episodes! If you're uncomfortable with the age difference don't watch it then...it is not real life and the worse they can do is kiss, Kim Sae Ron CHOSE to act in this drama such as Yoon Shi Yoon CHOSE to act in it as well, as actors I'm sure they respect each others decisions to act together so just let them deliver a good drama for 2 months and move on with their lives...
OMG every single ending I was mad at except Dream High, I didn't even finish Producers...But I told myself for 1988 that I would wait till it finished airing and find out who's she ends up with to avoid that and also to focus on the families since that's what it was all about in the first place and in the end I loved the families more than waiting for the couples to appear.
i dislike The Heirs i dont get why people liked it
i'll admit it was a guilty pleasure, tortured myself every week but i liked Park Shin Hye soooo....lol other than that it was a really bad drama and overhyped
The only thing i can say is Reply 1997 is just slice of life, its meant to portray mundane activities of everyday life +romance to give the viewers some guessing game while you enjoy their activities of the 90s, so slice of life just might not be your style. you probably just don't like that genre ^^
Masters Sun got boring at the ending, i agree on that one, You Who Came From the Stars is a love hate drama, you lean all the way to hate or all the way to love. I only loved it because it was nice a getaway from all the melodramas I watched that year.
But other than that your opinion matters but thanks for letting us give feedback ^^
I watched this drama so long ago but still see the same comments about Jung Eum's character being stupid....honestly though if anyone has been head over heels in love they would be willing to do the same thing she did...and sorry to say if you don't feel that way then those people have never been IN love with anybody. Loving someone and being IN love are two completely different things. Yes she made some idiotic mistakes but that does not make her stupid, it makes her human just like any other girl who fell for the bad boy and did anything for them. She learned her lesson the hard way and still kept her head held high. This is just my opinion, people can still disagree but dang... if dramas were completely realistic nobody would be watching them.
