I am confused. On first episode they legit talk about dating shows and how this is like one of the dating shows. She signed contract to appear on the show with all the info, she wears microphone and there are cameras shooting them.

How can you expect to talk about privacy and not being in public when she legit decided to have her dating life public by joining reality show lol.

Are ML and FL working together interacting or are they mostly separated in this series and doing their own things on their own?

This is on Netflix, atleast in europe it is.

1st episode is one of the worst paced things I ever watched with bad introduction and pointless details that want you to skip and fast forward 70% of it. Yet it's missing important elements for pilot episode.

The whole soldiers plot is so unbelievably bad with characters more braindead then zombies it makes me hate every character.

Humor is awful and performances are mediocre. Characters, especially male are written to be extremely dumb usually to make jokes on their accountthat are not even funny. Most overact and behave unrealistic af and so on. Almost every character seems like they make the worst decision which is frustrating and things turn out exactly as expected because of it.

2nd half of the show is better but still whole thing is mid at best with no proper development to care about anyone.

NGL this would prob be better if they trimmed the fat and cut it down into a movie.

I hated production of this. There were many things that bothered me the way this was executed and shot but I absolutely hated live background commentary, texts and obnoxious advertisements.

I went into this being recommended best season of this show so I started with this but I didn't expect production would be this bothersome on top of awful pacing, abrupt cuts and time gap and with ton of filler and bad editing.

Also there are no interviews or stuff being recorded inside rooms or at late hours so I guess it's just scripted limited group interactions / dates that are being recorded. Not to mention random slowmotiom on low frame rate footage without fluid motion correction atleastif they fail to shoot at proper frames and shutter and other technical issues including lav mics with brick instead of descret packs and so on.

I am sorry but the amount of product placement makes this very distracting and extremely hard to watch and take it seriously when participants even pose with products or straightup do ad read. This is some of the most disingenuous thing I watched with awful cheap fake sets.

Not to even mention actual content and using token BS like twins for gymic and so on. I found content entertaining because I found their behaviour abnormal. It's like they are all the most interverted clueless kids with cringe and awkward interactions who never interacted with opposite sex. Most can't even hold proper convo or look other person in the eyes.

This went downhill and frustrating after episode 13. All the feel good energy turned bitter.

Kinda regret watching this.

Lol on episode 1 why do they plate food on the table sitting there for god knows how long until everyone arrives ? That got cold AF and wasted.

Yes this is completely unethical and risking licence for that while hiding relationship takes big balls, doing it openly is absolutely career suicide.

After all the crimes shown in Mindhunter who would think that biggest crime would he Mindhunter not getting more seasons.

You do know IU getting Oscar is not possible unless she shifts into acting and featuring in movies first public exhibition in a theatrical setting on top of that getting casted, supported by company, get nominated and actually getting voted by staff to win. Also not part of actors guild, have no connections and friends in the business and so on. With her current and probably future contract this is already basically not getting past 1st step of getting an Oscar.

So far in history only one male korean actor was ever nominated but lost for Oscars and he is American actor Steven Yeun and only one supporting korean actress Youn Yuh-jung got nominated and won it but she is acting for over 50 years and has American agent and so on. Both for same movie Minari that's it.

TLDR odds of IU getting Oscar is basically non exsistant and pursuing one is financially ridiculous and hard that would require career shift, with low success at cost of stable career in current setting.

I didn't say anyone should turn back on him I just said that I would no longer be friend with him. I would keep distance and be friendly towards him if her interacted with me. It's sorta relationship out of pity not actual real connection.

You do realise that if ML wasn't undercover agent Min would legit be OK to ruin life / career of only person that tried to help him. Even second time after their talk he was still OK with destroying someone else's life when asked officially for statement because he was afraid of bully. It's disingenuous to say you would stay friend with that person in real life and be able to trust them not to act with their self interest when pressured again to cause more harm to you again ?

It's absolutely absurd to be OK to destroy someone else's young life over being afraid of bully threat that is very unreal. While bullying may make you into such self destructing and passive person it also makes you toxic to anyone close to you by association. At this point you are legit enabling bully behavior and giving more control to do even worse things to you over slight change he way do something to granny which is very unlikely scenario.

To be honest reason why bullying in Korea is so bad because most people are so passive, timid and without any balls so they enable bully behavior combined with hyper critical behavior and other toxic bs in Korea.

Dong-min not being able to stand up for himself and get bullied I understand and I get how psychologically your messed up after that but come on turning on only friend that helped you in order to appease bully I can't ever trust guy like that ever again to count on. Legit being okay to throw under the bus only innocent guy that helped you. If ml was also weak I bet Dong-min would join bully and pick on him as new target just so he doesn't get bullied anymore.

I get that this happens but if you are that weak minded you just can't be helped and can't be trusted to he around. Also I don't get how in kdrama bully get enabled so much it seems borderline unrealistic.

Now I get why weak minded person like dong min would do that and I am completely fine with that and I understand it. I would accept it but realistically we ain't staying friends after that. I wouldn't hold a grudge but relationship is not the same after that because he legit decided to selfishly protect his self interest by harming innocent person and destroying their academic career. This is why it's so hard to help people like him because risk of getting burned is high and odds of getting good trusting relationship is low even if it turns out mostly good so overall it's just not rewarding relationship to go into with ton of baggage and angst mostly relationship out of pity without respect and trust.

I don't watch interviews or follow any of that but it was cultural shock. Looks like in Korea this is common knowledge. It's the new horoscope replacement that I also dislike.

Lol why do all these people talk about personality types like it's a common thing to know. I was completely lost yet everyone seem to know about it.

They needed people hooked to watch till end so they edit and remove stuff that would make things obvious to create artificial tension and drama.
