Let's make a thread of unfulfilled wishes! Things you wanted to be in TLB, things you imagined beforehand, things…
In the manhwa, the snow walk scene in Ep 15, Chang Ge walks out to meet A'Sun with her bare feet, it struck to me as so much more powerful in the manhwa because it shows how vulnerable she is. It's also something that A'Sun later on regrets as he made her illness in the manhwa even worse after making her walk all the way to the grasslands in the snow barefoot.
Chang Ge was seen coughing up blood multiple times in the manhwa though, which makes it seem as if it was headed towards a tragic ending. As much as I enjoy tragedies, I don't want that for GeSun. However, it makes me wonder why the writers decided not to include this in the drama though. I'm glad they took a different route, but I'm still curious on how it would've turned out.
An idea came to my mind while writing this. Maybe Xia Da did intend for the ending of the manhwa to be a tragic one, hence the writers of the drama decided to take a different route and decided to give us fans a happy ending so that if one day Xia Da does continue with the manhwa, us fans will have two endings and won't be so heartbroken.

Maybe a scene where A'Sun is watching Situ Lang Lang and Chang Ge spar. Lang Lang accidentally knocks Chang Ge over and Sun rushes over. He shoots Lang Lang a glare before turning towards Chang Ge and helps her up. She gives her a soft smile as he pulls out a handkerchief and wipes away her sweat.
I wish they keep:- the Mobei Uncle relationship link with ChangGe - retain CG is part Uighur - didn't kill off…
A'Dou's death was difficult to watch, but I feel like it played an essential part in Chang Ge's growth. But then again he was alive in the novel so I don't know! I am stuck in between.
I completely agree with everything else you said! Mobei uncle and Chang Ge are amazing, and their dynamic is so wholesome! The Uighur part is one of my favorites so I also badly wanted that in the drama.
On top of my wishlist is definitely that ending fire scene! They could've done so much better!! And of course the kissing scene, we all can agree that we didn't need the parrots there smh
I share similar sentiments! I have read both novels of YAMG and TBW and have enjoyed both, especially TBW in which…
It is probably one of the most iconic and memorable scenes in the novel for me, so I'm really excited to see it play out. I was aware of Allen's no kissing rule before, and I had come to accept that as long as they don't butcher this scene, I might be okay with the lack of kissing scenes.

Oh, yes that is definitely one of our unfulfilled wishes. Also if Sun really kiss her mole near her eye, then…
I want to, but I don't want to butcher the essence of their characters :( if I can find someone to write it, then I'll gladly draft out a great story that might satisfy our fantasies haha

Of course, I wanted another firefly scene. Would've been a great parallel to the one in ep 18. A'Sun taking Chang Ge back there like he had promised, the two of them reminiscing on their journey together and apart. Sun once again telling Chang Ge he will take her to see fireflies again every year for the rest of their lives. And then the ending them song Cocoon plays as we get our closing and final shot of the drama :,)
Since we are imagining, we should have AS kiss the spot where his arrow shot her. And he can ask her while kissing…
:o that scene is a scene I would like to see! omg that scene would be so hot, the two of them!! the chemistry would be on fire!! I don't think us viewers would be able to handle it lol.

in the novel, his character bites her ear as a way to claim and mark her as his soulmate. so he does it roughly because at this point, he has a facade on of hating her for what she did to him in the past. so not tender, but not too harshly either haha
this scene would be cute, but I never even thought of how much cuter and endearing the behind the scenes would be omg! I would simply die watching it xD
Spring, so beautiful but it's also fleeting. Seasons change, and spring becomes summer. Spring, the time when flowers bloom. In another life, maybe SheMi's relationship could've bloomed like a beautiful flower in the spring time, unfortunately in this one, they withered away before they could even bloom :(
