I am with you about where Kla currently is on my naughty list lol. He has done so many inexcusable things to Khim upon his return and has crossed a few boundaries regarding women around him. However, I do have faith in his love for Khim. Like someone has mentioned before, without hate, there is no love. The greater the hate, the greater the love. Kla's hatred is justified, but of course it doesn't excuse his actions. I am hoping for great regret and anguish from his side once he finds out about the truth and make it up to Khim.

I do think though that once the misunderstandings between them are resolved, their trust and bond will be more solidified and trusting as ever. This is where they become unified as one and spend time together to heal as well fend off against their enemies. Let's also not forget that there still needs some development for the relationship between Lita and Thaen, as well as the highly possible awakening of Nate and his role, so I feel like the remaining episodes shouldn't be too difficult to fill up.

I do agree that there might be some hesitancy in Kla's character towards Claire because of the guilt he feel towards her, but ultimately we as the viewers as well as Kla himself and everyone around him know that his heart lies with Khim, so hopefully, the writers don't mess this up to add unnecessary drama.

Anxious for Wednesday, and Bad Romeo drops this promotional video between Yaya and Mario: (As translated)Yaya:…
Wednesday cannot come sooner! According to someone's post it seems that our precious Kla and Khim's misunderstandings will be resolved this week! Finally! I am ready for all of the angst building up to when their true feelings and buried love and affection is dug up and brought to the surface.

The adoptive mom making moves on Kla is disgusting because A) it looks predatory and non-consenting as fuck and…
The most disturbing part in all of this would be the fact that Kla has the same exact same face as her son. Like wtf woman. He has the same face as your son, not only that but he is your stepson. All kinds of wrong between this relationship. There is a scene on one of the teasers of her crazily pointing a gun while crying towards someone, I wonder who she is pointing it towards. Khim's dad maybe? Since she seems to have a personal vendetta against him. My other guess would be towards Kla because of her supposed "feelings" of possession towards him and became jealous of his affection for Khim.

There is a picture of Claire looking distressed and and crying on the street behind a car and Khem standing next to her with a worried and intense expression on his face. I wonder what had happened to lead up to this scene? Does anyone think there is a possibility that Claire becomes overwhelmed with jealousy and hurts either Kla or Khim which leads to this scenario???

So true, Remember which episode was it when Kla takes the money and gives it all to his friend, His father raises…
Exactly! Before her is the man who had made a fool of her and betrayed her trust. He then "faked" his own death and led her to believe that he doesn't love her, leaving her to mourn the death of not only their child, but also his death for 7 years. Now that he's back to seek revenge on her, but also pretend as if he doesn't know her, do people just expect her to happily run into his embrace and forgo her self worth after she's spent the past 7 years trying to build it up? He's now repeatedly trying to break down every piece of confidence she's managed to build up over the years and people still expect her to think from his perspective? Why is it never the other way around? People say Khim should have confidence that be able to differentiate what's right from wrong and be able to see through her father's schemes when the same exact thing can be said for Kla. He's dealt with first hand how cruel and manipulative her dad can be, and yet he fails to think from the perspective that Khim is also a victim in all of this.

Honestly I don't hate Lita. She is frustrating for sure, but I believe that she truly did want the best for Khim.…
Honestly that's an interesting ending and one I wouldn't mind to see. As much as I am in this for the romance, we need more dramas that show that women can be happy without having a man in their life. Rather than seeing Kla and Khim together, my biggest want for the end of this drama is for Khim to love herself and know her worth and for Kla to regret and repent his actions towards Khim.

I've hated her character since the very beginning when they switched lives. I hated her to the core when she lied…
I get why many would hate her character, but I just get where she is coming from with her coming from a poor family and all. It causes one to be blinded and overcome by their own greed sometimes.

And with her failing for Thaen, I can’t really blame her for that since one can’t really control who they fall in love with. I mean as we can see she’s tried on multiple occasions to seek for romance on her own, but they’ve all failed. Now here is a handsome rich guy being sweet and gentlemanly towards her, of course she would start to develop feelings even if he was her friend’s fiancé. I am not yet caught up with this week’s episodes so I didn’t know about her conversation with her mom. Falling for her friend’s man is one thing but trying to steal him from her would be another. I would really be disappointed in Lita’s character if she were ever to do that. Hopefully the writers give her character more justice than what we’ve been led to believe so far.

I’m a fan of Chutimon’s acting after having watched her in Bad Genius. I was excited for her role as Lita as well. I’m also a bit disappointed about what the writers have done to her character. But I think that later on she’ll get more screen time when her romance with Thaen develops, which in turn is also kind of disappointing since her character arc will only be tethered to a relationship. I was really looking forward to see her friendship with Khim so hopefully we will still be able to have that.

Asia’s screen time annoys me, but as of right now I am okay with Claire. I find her sweet, and in another universe would’ve have shipped her with Kla if Khim wasn’t in the picture. I’m wondering though what further role she will have or will she just remain as Kla’s current love interest.

I agree with you there. Khim has a lot of pent up traumas, and she’s still suffering from them even now in the present. She’s just seeking for love and acceptance in which no one has yet been able to give her. It doesn’t matter how many times Kla has told her that he loves her. When it came down to it, he had ultimately placed his friend over his family, wife, and child. And now she is once again suffering finding out that her mom has been alive all this time, and that she had chose to abandon Khim leaving her to grow up alone.

Not sure why she is more pitiful than kla? If his father doing all this she is adult and mature enough to identify…
Uhhh Stockholm Syndrome shouldn’t even be part of the debate in the first place mate… that literally depicts the situation between a hostage and their kidnapper, while Khim is suffering from a severe case of tiger and helicopter parenting.

I don’t understand how you could define her trust in her loved ones as blind faith when it has been shown that she herself tried to seek out Kla for confirmation but was then told that he wants nothing to do with her. Even in the recent episodes we see her contemplating on his character based on his contradicting words and actions. And like I’ve said, her father is manipulative, he’s only shown her what he wants her to see, and when all of the evidence points towards Kla not wanting to have anything to do with her, of course she would believe the man who raised her over the man she’s just met and impregnated her over a drunken night.

We can argue all we want about how Kla has shown Khim more love than her father ever had. But while Khim’s father has always been there for her, Kla had chosen to place his friend over his own wife and child. It doesn’t matter how many times Kla has told Khim that he loves her, his actions ultimately show otherwise from Khim’s perspective.

I'm sorry, but Lita is such a bad friend!!!
Honestly I don't hate Lita. She is frustrating for sure, but I believe that she truly did want the best for Khim. Of course she was also blinded by her own greed as well but who in this world isn't? She was carrying guilt of getting Khim involved in all of this mess and was then manipulated into thinking that getting rid of Kla would be the best choice for Khim. She had done it for selfish reasons but I also think she also did what she thought was best.

As for the present although she has the ability to rid the misunderstanding by telling everyone the truth, we must remember that Lita has always been convinced that Kla is a bad person. Him coming back now and seeking revenge towards Khim just convinces her even more that he is not good for her friend.

I have hope for her character and that she will tell one of them the truth when the time comes.

Finally someone said it so well! I completely agree with you! My heart hurts so much for Khim more than it did…
I personally think that both are pitiful in their own respective ways, but I definitely feel more for Khim just because of how relatable her character is. All she has ever wanted was to be loved. Not one person in her life was able to give her that until she had met Kla. But even the one person she had thought would always love her, had ended up "betraying" her trust.

Cant agree more.. actually saikhim is so pitiful.. cant wait to see gla love her unconditionally
Exactly this! One of the main things that Khim and Kla had bonded over was their lack of self love. Both felt like they were undeserving of love and that they are a waste of space in the world. But the difference between them is that Kla had received unconditional love and support growing up from both his dad and sister. Khim on the other hand was conditioned to believe that she was not worth anything if she wasn't doing her best to be her dad's "good daughter." Kla is definitely the person she needs to show her the unconditional love she has always yearned for.

Not sure why she is more pitiful than kla? If his father doing all this she is adult and mature enough to identify…
As I’ve stated in my post, Khim has grown up in a sheltered environment where her father basically dictates her every move. But despite that he’s the only constant in her life. When everything has gone to hell for her, her father was there for her. She’s never truly witnessed the horrid things her father has done, she’s only seen what he wants her to see. Of course she would be blinded and unable to see her father’s true nature.

I don’t think you understand that as an adult, people can still have childlike mindsets. Just because you are older, doesn’t necessarily mean that you are more mature. To me, there is still a part of Saikhim who is the little girl who just yearns for the love and affection from her father.

I am not saying that she is more pitiful than Kla. But I’m pointing out that they are both pitiful in their own ways. Kla has suffered, but Khim did not suffer any less. Kla had been the one to ultimately make the decision to go help his friend which placed him in a dire situation, and it was because he refused to put down the weapon that caused his sister to get shot. I am not blaming Kla, I am just tired of people blaming Saikhim for what he has gone through when she herself is also a victim. The real villain here is the father, but the hate seems to be directed towards Khim.

Once again, I’ve stated that in Khim’s perspective, Kla was a man who had fooled and betrayed her. Why should her life halt because of a man like that? Should she just remain miserable the rest of her life for a man who has betrayed and lied to her? The fact that even though the truth is unknown to her, she still prays for him every year and dedicates merits towards him, which says a lot about her character and the love that she had for him.

As for your last point it is not stupidity, but confusion on her part which is totally justifiable. From what she knows, Kla had told her that he won’t explain himself and does not care what she thinks. He wants to cut ties with her and she no longer matters to him. Yet now all of a sudden he is back and seeking revenge on her. How would that make sense for anyone?

I honestly don't understand the hate on Saikhim's character. From what I've seen up until episode 8, her actions and reactions are justified. I think people tend to forget that she grew up very sheltered and restricted. Her dad constantly manipulates, gaslights, and mentally/emotionally abuses her. She grew up believing that no one loved or wanted her. It wasn't until she went to live with Kla was she able to be able to experience life for the first time. But even then, she was just living on the farm, still yet exposed to real society. She and Kla had met under unwanted circumstances and unintentionally fell in love with each other. They both were still learning how to love as well as how to survive in the world while navigating through their past traumas. Their love and foundation was already unstable to begin with. Kla was constantly gone for work and they spent too much time apart to be able to form a strong trusting bond.

When Kla came back, he was seen taking secret phone calls that planted seeds of doubt into Khim's mind. Khim isn't aware of the horrible person her father is. Because despite everything, she still loves him, and love blinds people. She hasn't actually witnessed any of the bad things her father has done. And finally when she saw Kla being chased by the police, she was hurt and betrayed, her emotions not to mention pregnancy hormones were all over the place. She was too disoriented and still mentally/emotionally too weak to fight back against her father. Her father was once again gaslighting and manipulating her. When she was trying to take the scissors away from Kla, she was only trying to deescalate the situation, she was willing to work through everything together with him. But Kla was also overwhelmed with his emotions and misinterpreted her intentions. Before leaving he literally shouts at her that the biggest mistake he ever made was loving a woman like her. Once again Khim was stabbed with such hurtful words and betrayed by someone she loves. Even at that point she still loves Kla and wants to listen to him tell her his side of the story. She had lost their baby due to stress, and then was told that Kla wants to divorce her and wants nothing to do with her which backs up the lies told by her father. She then had to go through the pain of finding out that he had committed suicide.

Now in the present she has finally built herself back up. We've seen that she still hasn't forgotten about Kla and her feelings still remain. But when finding out that he was alive, of course her initial reaction wouldn't be happiness considering this was the man who has betrayed her and lied to her about being dead for 7 years. She has mourned him all this time just to find out that he is alive and well and is suddenly back with a revenge plot against her. She's also developed feelings for Thaen, and is about to open her new hotel. Everything was falling into place for her, and suddenly Kla, a part from her past that she is ashamed of is now back in her life. Who would happy about that? Imagine suffering throughout your whole life, and suddenly when everything seems to be going well for once, it's once again threatened for some reason you're not even aware of.

Apologies for the long rant, but I really feel for Khim's character and didn't think it was fair that people were brushing aside everything that she went through.

Plz tell me that the 3rd sister won’t start making moon eyes at GQF? From first meeting she’s already entranced.…
Well we know that Yinzhang definitely has the hots and admiration for Qianfan, but the actress herself has stated in a livestream I think saying that her character will not turn evil and remains single until the end. :)

Honestly, if they take this route that would be perfect for her character arc because it would show great growth in her character. From the beginning until now, she has shown to be this insecure, innocent, and naive girl who chases for validation, love, and status. In her perspective, the only way she can achieve this is by chasing after a well off man. Towards the end, rather than find love in a man, she could find love within herself and become the strong independent woman who doesn't need a man's help in order to achieve her happiness or her goals.

I couldn’t agree more. If it continues with it pace, it will become one of my favorite dramas in 2022. 😍
Yes, cinematography is absolutely breathtaking here! Every scene in this drama can be used for great wallpaper haha. I find myself rewatching certain scenes to capture the beauty of lighting and scenery as well as the nuances in the acting done by our leads. Tea ceremony was wonderfully shot.

Another aspect that I love about this drama is definitely the fact that the director is a woman. It's no coincidence that it's catering to so much of our needs like strong female characters, emotionally intelligent and capable male lead, deep and heart touching dialogues, wonderful friendships and dynamics, and just so much more!

Ahh thank you, thank you. Similar to how you love my icon, I'm in love with your edits! I am guilty of watching them multiple times to help me pass time while waiting for new episodes lol. Not only for ADOS, but your past ones for TBW, Snowdrop, and TLB, I've watched them all!
