The "Pearl Harbour OST" --- OMG, thank you, thank you, thank you!ππ» I've been struggling for the past hour…
Hahaha you're welcome π I know this struggle when something reminds you of something else but can't figure it out π but i don't remember the name of the exact track if the OST but I bought the CD back then and I think I will listen to the OST again this weekend and getting nostalgic π And yes, pearl harbour was WWII and Memoir of rati plays during WWI but war is terrifying and giving the same sad vibes in general π i will never understand why people are so full of hatred to destroy other lifes and countrys ππ’
Thank you for the recommendation. I've seen that there is a special ep 0 last week but I haven't watched it yet because there are so many series to watch right now that I've struggle to keep up π
It should be on YT for you. They usually use different platforms for Thailand, US, Canada, Germany, etc...
In Germany you can watch Memoir of Rati on Youtube too. I don't know how they choose the series which they block here because we could watch f.ex. Perfect 10 liners, Boys in Love or the ex morning on youtube but we had to watch f.ex. kidnap, the heart killers or my golden blood on gagaoolala π
letβs be clear , the music they choose is so bad and makes you distracted and it has nothing to do with the…
I really LOVE the music choice and think it fits perfectly. Its not the typical background music but some more powerfull music with violins etc which matches the time.
But I admit that sometimes they cut the music so suddenly instead of f.ex. fading it out.
At first I thought this isn't a series for me because actually I don't like world war themed plotlines. But I gave it a try because I like GreatInn and AouBoom and I must say I'm positively surprised.
I really like the atmosphere so far, the costumes are nice and I love the music! The sound fits the theme and the music isn't just for the background but it gives us a more powerful feeling. It reminds me a little bit of the "Pearl Harbour OST" (again a world war theme π ).
I think it was a very nice first episode and it's definitely NOT a slowburn π Holding hands in the first episode wasn't on my bingo card but I'm not complaining π
I like Inns and Aous character the most so far and I hope that Rati doesn't think that Thee wanted to mock him when he finds out that he isn't a commoner π
Haha and at first my head was going to explode, because I'm german and right before watching this episode, I was studying japanese, then the episode started and they were talking french (which I know too) and Thai with english subtitles π΅ my brain was busy to switch between all these languages π€―π€£ but I like it, when they speak in other languages and give subtitles to get an authentic scene ππ» and Inns french was quite good I could understand him. I wonder if he could speak french beforehand or if he has only learnt the phrased of the script? π€
I guess from preview that Day and Night will be the one to take anesthesia and fake there death because, If there…
Hm, I myself really like the series and find it well done BUT I don't want to call it my last word because like you said there are many open strings and unsolved questions. So I have high hopes for the final episode and I hope they will give us a satisfying answer or solution for the Leap Day Curse. I really hope they will put all the Puzzle pieces together so that everything makes sense π
I haven't seen Y destiny so far but I think that doesn't matter much for following the plot. For me it's kind of refreshing to have a couple right from the start even if it would be nice to know how the got together but I think it's not necessary for the plot.
So far I'm not sure if I really like this series or not. This kind of series is really "special". This whole comedy thing with all the typical thai noises in the background aren't my cup of tea actually π and the plot so far... well... they switch bodys and have to sleep with "themselves" to switch back.... but I'm looking forward to next episode because it seems to get more interesting with new characters.
BUT I was positively surprised by the message of each episode!! I haven't expected such sincere messages from this comedy show! In the first episode it was about real love which isn't connected to a specific body but the person itself. And in the 2nd episode Sun realized that he hadn't paid much attention to his partner, he hadn't realized his mental state and his problems and he is now ready to fight for his partner and to fully support him. So sometimes you don't see the struggle even close persons next to you fight. So take a proper look at your family and friends! Behind a smile may be a crying face which needs lots of love and support! π
The twist with Thadaβs brother? I stopped watching after ep 1 cause will wait when the whole episodes are out…
It's just a theory π so i don't know if it's right... but it isn't normal to travel back in time so there must have happened something special to do so, right? And they could have let him die easily in one way. Either Armin could have died because of the poison or he died because of falling down from the 1st floor. Why did they choose 2 "dying methods" when one is enough? So the "poison" is suspicious to me π
Ep 11 and leap day is still one of the few series where i manage to watch the premiere! It's so well done!
This episode was somehow devided. At first we had the fantasy elements during the "death" of Day and Night. But I didn't get the messages from their younger selves. Why has Night to avoid the sun? Sun = Day and didn't the stars told them that Day and Night has to work together? And how does Day already know what he has to do? The whole series is about to find out what exactly they have to do because noone knows π but I guess this question will be solved in the final episode next week...
The Second part of this episode was the wholesome story when they all lived together in Nights house. It felt like they are all a cute little family and everyone supports each other in their own way. The four of them are grown together π and i laughed so hard at the part when Ozone talked about the "boin boink" π€£π€£π€£ while Day didn't want to think about it but couldn't help it π
So next week we will finally (hopefully) get all the answers of our questions. I think that Day and Night have to "die" to trick Leap Day π€ but if I remember right there was one star apart from the other five stars in Ozones last drawing... so what does it mean?
Even if I'm normally more into BL series I really really love this series and I hope that GMMTV will produce more series like that which have lots of suspense and a good high quality storyline π
The twist with Thadaβs brother? I stopped watching after ep 1 cause will wait when the whole episodes are out…
My theory is still that it was Thada who "poisoned" the drink in Armins first life because he somehow knows that he will die and the "poison" will give him the opportunity to travel back in time.
The twist with Thadaβs brother? I stopped watching after ep 1 cause will wait when the whole episodes are out…
Oh i love your theory. I haven't rewatched the trailer after it was released. It definitely makes sense what you say!
The first 2 episodes were so confusing for me because there were so many characters and I couldn't tell them apart π i think i have to rewatch them again to take a proper look at the details. But the 3rd episode was really funny. Even if it didn't give us much for the plot but in this episode they took a proper look at the building up for their relationship. That was one of my criticism in the last episode. Thada and Armin seemed too close without even knowing each other.
I don't think that Thadas brother is in love with him. For me it seems more like some kind of jealousy and power hunger.
Ep 3 was so much fun π i laughed so many times and it wasn't the typical thai-cringe- fun! When Thada was shocked that Armin wanted to cook on the floor, when they entered the new Appartement of Thada and he didn't even know that he had a pan, when the secretary was the whine delivery man and so many more scenes! And all the nearly Kissing scenes π everything in me was screaming "just kiss!!!" But somehow i wasn't disappointed that they didn't kiss. The pacing felt right and mature. Thada is still a big mystery for me! He knows so much about Armin but on the other hand he actually knows nothing. I'm looking forward to the twist with his brother.
Ep 7 was really great. 1h 24min and I wasn't boring for just a moment! I really love the world in which the series take us every saturday π
What i loved: Finally we got the NC Scene and I must say it was one of my favorite NC scenes so far because they took their time, they didn't rush and most notably you can feel Charan struggle at the beginning. He was so worried, he hesitated. His whole life he was trained to be an obedient guard and to respect the hierarchy and now he fought against his own desire. Khanin comforted him, everything was smooth and lovely and I liked it too that Khanin got shy after Charan took off his pants. It felt so real, because even if Khanin was the one who initiated all the intimate moments it is still his first time and you're not as self confident as it seems. So this scene was beautiful shot and felt real ππ»π
What I didn't like: I fear that the "Charan is your guard/trainer - no, Charan isn't your guard/trainer anymore - oh no, he is your trainer/guard again" thing might get a little bit tiring. I hope they don't continue this type of storyline anymore...
Moments of cringe: I can't help it but the product placement in this setting of a medieval castle is so out of place π i can't take it serious π
What I missed: I would love to see more NetJJ moments! At least we got a little sequence today but I want mooooore!
Still suspicious: I'm not sure about Ava! She seems to be nice and really worried about Khanin. But somehow it feels too nice at the moment π€ i think I'm getting paranoid xD
That whole pool scenario- I'm convinced it's "BL Universe" logic.π I've seen these random setups too many times…
Hahaha yes a BL Universe set-up π€£ I only feel a little sad about it because in my opinion they didn't need this random pool scene. It is more a downgrade of the plot because this scene is totally irrelevant for the plot. They could have used a similar scene later in the series. That would have made more sense.
But if only his memories are intact why is the past Tada not confused about these sudden memories? Why does he believe in them and doesn't think he gets mad now π but you have a good point with your question concerning the power of the "poisoning". Perhaps Tada is some kind of guardian angel?
Yes actually that is what I had expected all the time. If I myself would travel back in time I wouldn"t be so calm all the time. I would panic like crazy π
2nd episode and I'm still confused π There are so many unsolved questions and some scenes felt... somehow disconnected.
For example the pool scene. Imagine you wake up fully washed up in a strangers bed after being poisoned. You look around and see a man which you have met only 2 times before under mysterious circumstances. He is sipping whine in a nice pool and the first thing you do is that you walk slowly to him, get fully naked in the pool too and you nearly kiss him???? Sorry but no..... this scene felt so off like it could be a scene from ep 6 or so. But i saw their chemistry. So i'm looking forward to their next hot scenes together.
Then the whole part with Tada... my Theory is that he was so one who actually poisoned the future Armin so that he can travel back in time and Tada get the possibility to fix his mistake that he was only communicating via sticky notes etc and now he wants to show himself in presence. But why didn't he get what Armin was talking about with youtube and Co when he actually knows about the future? π€
And why is he so obsessed with Armin???? How did he know him?
And for me the character of Armin isn't clear for me... sometimes he is totally calm sometimes he explodes just by seeing a familiar face π
But nontheless I really like the series ,the plot and the acting so far ππ»
