Up until now I was just a “silent reader” of all the comments here on MDL, but I’m so obsessed with the…
I was really relieved that this was finally a wholesome episode because the last episodes were such a rollercoaster of emotions and the tensions and fear were killing me ^^°
Thing I liked about this episode: - I loved Fadels reaction when Style said he will abstract the killer in the clothing shop. It felt like Fadel was afraid to see Style for the last time and one moment I thought that he will already give in an pull Style in for a “last kiss” :D - I loved the scene with Fadel and Bison in front of the house when Bison made Fadel realize that he can’t shoot Style because he loves him! - And my heart jumped when Fadel hold Styles hand during the stitching. He was so worried about Style and cared so much! He showed his true feelings and Kants look with this smirk was so funny like “I’ve never thought that you could love someone because you’re so cold but you are really in love with my friend!” - The flashbacks to the backstory of Bison, Fadel and Keen being raised by the mother - I love the symbolic of Fadels T-Shirt at the reconciliation scene at the beach. “Let it be” like “let it happen” so leave all your doubts behind and just follow your feelings and let the love between you two happen! Furthermore, it’s a well done framework for the storyline because “let it be” is one of the famous songs of the Beatles and KantBison are talking about them in the beginning of this episode.
My personal Highlight: - Style saying that he loves the right man who saved a total stranger and Fadel being so happy to have found someone who really loves him even if this person knows that he is a hitman. And then Fadels head on Styles lap while Style caresses his head. I feel so happy for Fadel <3
Things that confused me: - At first, I thought it was the next target to kill when Style found the photo under the envelope in Fadels car ^^° Then I thought “he looks like Phuwin” XD - Where the hell is the cashier during the exchange of fire???? Noone screamed or left the shop ^^°
Things I didn’t like: - I’m a little bit disappointed by Styles reaction to being in an exchange of fire. I expected that he gets a little bit more frightened by the real gun shots around him. I think it’s something else to have a gun pointing to his head (like Fadel did before) than being really in a gunplay.
Typical Style-moments (and other scenes) that made me laugh so hard: - Style lamenting that he wants new clothes because he wants to die in his own style and on top on a nice place for haunting as a ghost XD - the letter with the names of his relatives to prove that he will never betray Fadel again - Style and Kant replaying the holding-hands-scene and then going “Eeew” XD - Fadel threatening Kant with a gun and some seconds later “Does anyone has a seafood allergy?”
The kiss: Honestly, I’m a little bit ambivalent about the FadelStyle kiss because actually I like the kiss being in the water and Joong eating Dunk, his mouth wide open and did I see his tongue? This was so hot! But they did kiss better (I loved the kisses in ep 5 in the garage or in the bed). Somehow Dunk made the kiss a little weird for me with his eyes open and it felt a little bit like their kiss in the storage room in ep 3. Dunk couldn’t deliver the emotions this time. In ep 3 it was okay for me because it fitted the character. He didn’t expect that Fadel really would give it to him that time. And I’m not blaming Dunks acting skills like some other people here and on the internet because I think he has really improved and in my opinion, he really nails his role as Style! But in this specific scene I couldn’t really feel the emotion and relieve of winning Fadels trust back. And on top of that, the scene was tooooo shoooort XD KantBison bothered me xD
Little flaws that I can overlook: - Kant having a severe trauma regarding the sea and it only takes 5 minutes and he is playing frisbee with his friends IN the sea - how did the man in the helmet found Fadel and Style in this clothing-shop?
Things that are still suspicious/ open questions: - What has happened to the ex? I can’t believe that he has ghosted Fadel (who would ghost such a hot man :P) so either he was being killed by the hitman that the mother has mentioned this episode who she has hired 2 years ago or his ex is a hitman himself - The mother is suspicious as hell! She gives me Tony-vibes from Pitbabe ^^° - The Cop he is definitely a shady cop and perhaps he has some connection to the mother (?) - Is Ruerat really the killer of their parents or is he just a scapegoat? - The man in the helmet is suspicious. I don’t think it was Keen himself because you can clearly see the spider tattoo on his arm and I’m sure Fadel would have recognized this tattoo on Keen. So who is he? Is he just another hitman? Will he play a bigger role later on? - Keen! What is his goal? This episode he was really disappointed by the mother! Will his fear of his mother (or that she will do something to his lover like (perhaps) 2 years ago something has happened to Fadels Ex) be bigger than the hate towards Fadel and Bison? Will he betray all three of them?
- And last but not least: What the hell was Fadel digging at the end of episode 3?!?!?
Up until now I was just a “silent reader” of all the comments here on MDL, but I’m so obsessed with the heart killers that I really had to create an account here so that I can discuss all my thoughts and theories with you <3 I’m so in love with this series and the characters! Especially with FadelStyle! But I really love the dynamics of both couples and the rollercoaster each episode. So if you want have fun reading my thoughts about this episode in the following post which I will mark with a spoiler:
