My dear readers, here I'm back for my long review of ep. 6 (Time flies so fast 🙈). Like i promised you didn't need to wait so long like last time 🙈
What I liked 💜 - first of all the editing and pacing of this episode was the best so far in my opinion. Especially the pacing was done very well for me. - I really liked the whole fighting and shooting scene in the Wild Hunt! The choreography for the fighting was plausible and Kamins shooting scene was full of action and not too long. Sometimes I ask myself in shooting scenes how many bullets are left because they shoot all the time but this felt right and full of action. Even if I had wished for a little more cheering from Kamin but maybe that would have been too much out of character. - And again the concern for each other during the wild hunt: after hearing the gunshot Jade was so worried and sent Yu to help Kamin although he is fighting for his own life. And on the other hand there is Kamin with a gun towards his head but still defending Jade as someone who has more worth than his own life! And i appreciate that they even tell their worries each other at the end of the episode as a form of love confession before the Nc scene 💜 so you could say that this kind of love language followed them through several episodes already like a red thread - this episode we got more scenes especially with Kamin alone (without Jade by his side) so we can see the progression of his feelings. I like how the side characters tell him what is so obvious so that he get the last nudge to accept his feelings. Both Yu as well as Tankhun tells him that they see that there is something going on between Jade and him and that Jade seems to really love him 💜 - furthermore i like that Kamin wants firstly to get rid of all the "obstacles" in their relationship. He asked Yu what has happened between him and Jade and if they were boyfriends and he made it clear to Tankhun that he doesn't have a chance. On top of that i really liked how he said this to Tankhun without actually saying it but the mimic was well acted and stood for itself 👍🏻 - i like all the little teasing and bickering between Jade and Kamin (for example the "matching wounds" or the bed-scene with the flipping sheets 🤭) - in the scene at the hospital when Jade and Jay hug each other you can see the worry and love of the brothers 🥺 even if they argue often but they really care for each other - I like how Yu and Jay emphasize that Jades emotions and feelings aren't something bad but something really positive! Love and care is something that is often missing in the world nowadays but actually it's the most Important thing 💜 - by saying this i was not sure if i liked that Jade is suspecting Jay now. On the one Hand it fits his character. It doesn't mean that he doesn't like his brother anymore but it shows that Jade tries to cut off his feelings and focus on the case and Jay might objectively be a suspect. But on the other hand it shows how hurt Jade must still feel after being dismissed of the special investigation unit because of his feelings that he tries so hard now to be someone else 😕 actually this is really sad - Yu saying: "thank you for bringing Jade back to life again. Please take care of him for us" 🥰 - Jade calling Kamin "Min" 🥰 - finally the love confession "in words" from Kamin 💜 - I like that it's now Kamin who tries to seduce Jade while dressing his wound and Jade stopped it. It shows that Jade is still shy, unsure and vulnerable even if he shows everyone his tough side - i like that they always get shy the morning after they got a little intimate the night before 🤭 it's like a running gag 😃 - the talk about Jades house as Kamins home and the metapher of the locked door in Kamins heart. In the reaction Joong said that the "locked door" part was improvised and here again we have the teasing 😊 actually it reminds me of myself because I'm quite a reserved and cool character, denying being in love. and I like to tease too but I would show my love otherwise. Perhaps that's why I have no problem with Kamins character (many people complain that he is too stiff but it really exists people like that 🙋🏻♀️😆) - and somehow the dynamic in the series fits their dynamic in real life right now ^^
Hot and cute scenes 🥵💜🥰 - the bed scene at home when Kamin teased Jade first but then he let him sleep in his arms 🥰 - Jade entering Kamins office with wet hair and clothes after driving through the rain was pure hotness 🥵 - i like the talk before the nc scene. They talked about Tankhun and yuki and that they've cleared everything up to make sure that nothing is in their way anymore - the development of the whole office-bed-scene was great. First Kamin was lying on his back, looking away from Jade. While talking he looked at the ceiling, then he turnt the head towards Jade and at the end, after everything is cleared up, he turnt his whole body towards Jade to confess his love 💜 - Jades look right before Kamin kissed him was so shy and vulnerable 🥺 - Kamins fingers touching Jades chin were so soft. It felt so natural 💜 actually i liked this and the scene before when Kamin caressed Jades body after dressing the wound more than the actual NC scene. It was so sensual and gave me butterflys 🦋 (and it reminded me a little bit of the sauna scene in thk 😆 I was waiting for the nipple-tease like Style always did 🤭😈) - i liked how Kamin glided a little bit more under Jades body. It was just a little movement but somehow it was hot 😏 - and in both scenes we have the eye-contact again and again 😍 - and please help me out! Am I just delulu or did everyone else also see the bump in Kamins pants after gliding under Jade? 😳🤫🤭😁😈
Place for improvement ☝🏻 - like in the last episode the wounds aren't portrayed very well... I mean, Jay got hit at the head and the first thing he does at the hospital is shaking his head 😅 and Jade got stabbed in the stomach and he took off his shirt like it was nothing... i had a belly surgery last year and I couldn't walk properly for months 🙈 i know that they couldn't show the actual consequences of wounds like that but at least it could have hurt a little more 😅 - I don't really like their music choice for the series 😕 maybe it's just a personal thing or i'm too spoiled by the music choice in THK but even in SIMM or HA they have some proper melodys for the series. This time it feels like 3 or 4 songs which are used in every other series... I don't mean the title song or "Dare you to love", i really love both but the background music... - what the hell did Lee during all the fighting and shooting in the Wild Hunt? He just stood there doing nothing while Jade, Kamin and Yu were fighting for their lifes 😅 - with less than 44min this was the shortest episode so far... - and by saying this... 43seconds for the whole NC scene was way to short!!!! 😭😩 i had the feeling that the scene just started and BAM cut 😑 even joongdunk were disappointed in their reaction and wanted more! It's not that I'm only here for the NC scenes but JoongDunk have so much potential! Why did they give long NC scenes to actors who don't really feel comfortable acting these kind of scenes but JoongDunk who are really comfortable with touching and kissing each other that they even show in real life, only get a few seconds 😑😩 And that they rock these scenes we can see in THK or HA! They could give us way more than they've shown us so far in DYTD I really hope that they will continue the NC scene next episode like the kissing scene in ep 3/4, but actually that wouldn't make sense... but the hope dies at last 😅
The murder case 🔪 - Jay is definitely not the culprit, but he is still suspicious. Why did he call Tonkla and want to visit him? - And did Jay really lost his memory? He said that the culprit was a guy but he only saw the masked person. It can still be a woman. And why didn't he mention the mask? - And why didn't he got killed? Was it because the culprit wanted to kill Jay himself and wanted to see him suffering like the others? Or was it because of something else 🧐 - so it's Time who drives the white mercedes and hit Jay. But how did he get in contact with the murderer? Why does he help him? How does he know where to find him? How does he know that Jay will show up at the garage? The mimic in his last scene shows that he is surprised but knows the murderer - there are more evidences that the wild hunt case is locked to the murder case - Jade is also persuaded that the culprit is someone with background information of the inner investigation circle - my personal main suspects: 1. Puifai (i still don't believe that she is dead 😅 -> mostly because she is still part of many interviews without having a big role so far 😅😆) 2. Phut might be the one with the chemical background and might help Puifai 3. Times father. We don't have much information about him but why is he mentioned right from the start when he doesn't play a bigger role
Further questions ❓ - what has happened to Seon Jae? Did he get arrested or could he escape? LeeYu only said something about the drugs they've found but nothing about him. - Kamins past in the US with his dead father is still shadowy. His last case there seems to be linked to the actual drug case so when will we get more informations about what went wrong there? - why is Kamins "sleep-shirt" in the office? 😆
Random thoughts 💭 - they have the house for themselves because Jay is still in hospital but they have sex in the office 😆🤭 - each episode we get Joong topless 😍 and this episode we got him even 3 and a half times topless 🤣 (1/2x after the fight on the bench, 1x after the rain, 1x while dressing the wound and 1x in the nc scene 🤭) but i don't complain 😇
Regarding the critique 🤔 - some people complain that JadeKamin are more into flirting than the investigation. Well, at the end they are still humans and even police officers may have a Private life where they can do what they want. You don't need to give up your whole life for work! - all the flirting while having a dead body right in front of you might seem unusual to us but i think they have gotten used to it. They often see dead people and it might be not so shocking anymore 🤷🏻♀️ - having sex at the workplace might not be as unusual as it seems 🤷🏻♀️ i think it depends on the workplace and on the personal preference of the couple ... but i truely hope that they've locked the door 😅🙈

Normally, I watch the episode one time for my own entertainment, make some notes afterwards and then I rewatch the episode again and take some proper notes, because I'm often too hyped up after the first watching that I didn't get all the hints and details at first glance.
Yes, I really like Jades straightforwardness. Even if he seems a little bit naive sometimes but well... if he really is a virgin this might be a good explanation 😉
And you could complain that Kamin doesn't tell Jade his true feelings in such a straight way like Jade but he says it and behaves in another way. Like you said, they have their own love language and next episode we will get the confession "in words" 😍

Finally here I am to write down my thoughts about ep 5. I'm sorry, I was so busy with work 🙈 But here we go. We are already halfway through and it's getting more intense!
What I liked 💜 - I really appreciate that Jade is so straightforward with his feelings and doesn't hesitate to articulate them! He asks Kamin several times about their relationship and didn't hide his feelings. Finally we don't get the endless "misunderstanding-trope" - furthermore I like that they still consider the superior - subordinate - theme, even if it's more like a tease than a real excuse from Kamin now because you can truely see now that Kamin really likes Jade and has feelings for him too. - Our ABCD (AouBoomChenDunk) gang from Hidden Agenda is finally back 😍 I'm really looking forward to the four of them in the next episodes 💜 - the kiss right at the beginning of the episode was quite unexpected but really sweet 🥰 at first I was a little confused because it felt like it happened right out of nowhere but after rewatching the last scenes of ep 4 again it makes sense! Kamin was really worried about Jade, so has lived an emotional rollercoaste4 throughout the last hours and now he is relieved that his dear Jade is okay and can even joke around again. I think his bottled up emotions just came up and ended in this sweet little kiss 💜💋 - and again this whole "I'm worried"- theme again which I've already liked in ep 4. Sometimes an "I'm worried about you" says more than an " I love you" 💜 - i liked the "drama queen" line 😆 it just fits 🤭 - i really love the scenes where Jade and Kamin are looking in each others eyes 😍😍 for Example right after the kiss or in the wild hunt. Their looks are full of desire and love 🥰 and the director seems to love them too because there are so many eye-looking-scenes in each episode 😆 - Kamin knows how to light up Jades mood after the fight with Jay 😃 - finally Kamins jealous-era starts 🤭 after Nikolai has mentioned Yu, Kamin got so jealous he just signed the contract with Jade to move in 😆 and later in the bedroom and in the wild hunt he tried so hard not to seem jealous but you could read his emotions like in an open book 😆 I'm looking forward to more jealous moments next episode. Will we get possessive Dunk? 😁 - I like that we get all the flirty scenes in the most improper moments 🤣 it's somehow like a running gag now 😃 - and we got the confirmation in the last scene that Jade is really a virgin! Or does he only say it to seduce Kamin? 🤔
Favorite scene 🥰 The towelbath - actually a towel bath is one of the clichee-scenes in a BL series but if I remember right this was the first towelbath of JoongDunk (correct me if I'm wrong. In SIMM Kluen was ill but Dao only brought some congee 🤔) - it was one of the hottest towel baths I've seen 🔥 Joongs body i in top form 🥵 that was the first moment in my life I wished to be a towel 🤣 - here again we had lots of looks and eye-contact and all the little smiles and smirks 😊 especially Kamin smiled so cutely 🥰 - Jade asks about their relationship and confessed his feelings - the superior-subordinate-theme - Jays knowing smile when he returns was the cherry on the top 😆 and his little tease about Jades smile after recieving the signed contract
Place for improvemt ☝🏻 - the story begins to get really messy. The series wants too much in only 10 episodes. We have: 1. The dytd murder cases 2. The backstory of all the avengers shady past 3. A big drug case 4. Ilegal boxing gambling 5. The love story - I don't like that Jade looked perfectly fine on the way to the ER. There were no scratches, no dirt, no wounds... nothing. They could have at least put on some bruises or dirt... - sometimes the editing was bad again. The switch between some scenes were abrupt - well... you don't have to focus on logical crime investigation. Why did they go into the wild hunt without a backup plan or at least have some weapons with them. And shouldn't they talk about the case with the other investigation team on before? 😅
The murder case 🔪 - is Jay really the father of Puifais baby? - where did Kamin get the photos of Cherreen and Champ from? We saw the USB Stick of Tonkla but Tonkla didn't know the photos, so on the Stick were only the video of the car accident - Champ said that only him, Puifai And Cherreen wanted to be friends with Tonkla. But what about the other kids in the group? - when they search Puifais room they only find the Dare Letter, but what happened with the truth letter? Didn't she get one? And normally on the Dare letter are written only two names and you have to choose. But here it's written: " why suffer alone, try diying and you'll see their true colors. wether truth or dare they'll all have to die". So first of all she has only to TRY to die and all the others HAVE TO die? 🤔 - we have a new mask again - about the boxing-scene: i think Lee and Yu will save JadeKamin. Kamin gave them the in ears so they could hear what is happening

Open questions ❓ - we still don't know why Jade lives alone with his brother - did something happen in the past which bothered the relationship between the brothers? Jay said that he couldn't talk to Jade like he used to anymore - what has really happened with the drug case in the USA? In the talk between Nikolai and Kamin they said that this case shouldn't end up like it happened before. - who is Times father? It's a cop so perhaps we know him already - what exactly are Lee and Yu doing there in the floor? The guys before weren't seen there anymore so they didn't arrest them... and there was a condom on the ground... perhaps they are even bigger love birds than JadeKamin 🤭🤭🤭
Nice to know 😮 - Puifais mom was played by Pahns real mom - JoongDunk didn't know that AouBoom are the 2nd couple. They were surprised at the set - it's the first time I've seen Dunk getting shy in a reaction to their kissing scenes 🤭 it was really cute. You can watch their reactions to each episode on youtube - Before the boxing-scene Joong thought that Jade was asking for Sex because the hadn't shot he bedroom scene yet. At the end it was only about sleeping in the same room (what leads actually to a NC scene, right? 🤭😈) - Dunk said someone will die a cruel death but it's not someone of the avengers - the magnets will really become the new dytd merch 😄
Often mentioned critics that I don't see like that 🤨 - There are still many people who critizise Dunks acting because it's too stiff etc. In my opinion it isn't Dunks fault, it's just Kamins character! I admit at first i've also had some problems with the new characters. Both, Jade and Kamin felt a little off but it wasn't about the acting. It was how they are written but now I've got used to them and i think Joong and Dunk are playing them well. - dytd is often compared to Goddess bless you from death because both have the same author. Wel regarding the editing, budget and cinematography Goddess might be really better but regarding the plot i can't understand the critics! Goddess is so messy with way too many characters that you need a notebook to follow up the plot and especially in the last episode there were so many plotholes or illogical scenes. On top of that I have the feeling that both series have another focus. Goddess is more a crime/mystery thriller with a romantic side plot while Dytd is a full BL with an investigation side plot 😅

Actually I don't mind all this illogical scenes you've mentioned but this episode they were really obvious 😅 but i like the series as a whole package 🙂 what bothered me the most is that Goddess is often compared to Dare you to Death because it's the same author and there the haters complained about similar illogical scenes right from the start.
Sometimes i think "well the plot might not be perfect but there are only X episodes so they have to find a "fast" solution for this or that" and so it's ok for me. I like to guess about the case, i like to watch the romance and i simply want to enjoy the series without focusing on what might be not so good. Let's just focus on the positive things about each series and just have fun watching 😊

Why did they give long NC scenes to actors who don't really feel comfortable acting these kind of scenes but JoongDunk who are really comfortable with touching and kissing each other that they even show in real life, only get a few seconds 😑😩 And that they rock these scenes we can see in THK or HA! They could give us way more than they've shown us so far in DYTD
I really hope that they will continue the NC scene next episode like the kissing scene in ep 3/4, but actually that wouldn't make sense... but the hope dies at last 😅
The murder case 🔪
- Jay is definitely not the culprit, but he is still suspicious. Why did he call Tonkla and want to visit him?
- And did Jay really lost his memory? He said that the culprit was a guy but he only saw the masked person. It can still be a woman. And why didn't he mention the mask?
- And why didn't he got killed? Was it because the culprit wanted to kill Jay himself and wanted to see him suffering like the others? Or was it because of something else 🧐
- so it's Time who drives the white mercedes and hit Jay. But how did he get in contact with the murderer? Why does he help him? How does he know where to find him? How does he know that Jay will show up at the garage? The mimic in his last scene shows that he is surprised but knows the murderer
- there are more evidences that the wild hunt case is locked to the murder case
- Jade is also persuaded that the culprit is someone with background information of the inner investigation circle
- my personal main suspects:
1. Puifai (i still don't believe that she is dead 😅 -> mostly because she is still part of many interviews without having a big role so far 😅😆)
2. Phut might be the one with the chemical background and might help Puifai
3. Times father. We don't have much information about him but why is he mentioned right from the start when he doesn't play a bigger role
Further questions ❓
- what has happened to Seon Jae? Did he get arrested or could he escape? LeeYu only said something about the drugs they've found but nothing about him.
- Kamins past in the US with his dead father is still shadowy. His last case there seems to be linked to the actual drug case so when will we get more informations about what went wrong there?
- why is Kamins "sleep-shirt" in the office? 😆
Random thoughts 💭
- they have the house for themselves because Jay is still in hospital but they have sex in the office 😆🤭
- each episode we get Joong topless 😍 and this episode we got him even 3 and a half times topless 🤣 (1/2x after the fight on the bench, 1x after the rain, 1x while dressing the wound and 1x in the nc scene 🤭) but i don't complain 😇
Regarding the critique 🤔
- some people complain that JadeKamin are more into flirting than the investigation. Well, at the end they are still humans and even police officers may have a Private life where they can do what they want. You don't need to give up your whole life for work!
- all the flirting while having a dead body right in front of you might seem unusual to us but i think they have gotten used to it. They often see dead people and it might be not so shocking anymore 🤷🏻♀️
- having sex at the workplace might not be as unusual as it seems 🤷🏻♀️ i think it depends on the workplace and on the personal preference of the couple ... but i truely hope that they've locked the door 😅🙈

And i love their kisses but I admit that until now the kisses in Thk or hidden agenda were hotter. But that doesn't mean they are bad now and we have still 4 episodes (with hopefully more kisses) left 😇
4. Well, the main focus is on the BL and the investigation is just the side plot 😃 they only have 10 episodes, so I'm happy when we get some romantic scenes 😉
I'm glad that the people who have read the novel say that they've adapted the novel well in the series :)
Yes, I really like Jades straightforwardness. Even if he seems a little bit naive sometimes but well... if he really is a virgin this might be a good explanation 😉
And you could complain that Kamin doesn't tell Jade his true feelings in such a straight way like Jade but he says it and behaves in another way. Like you said, they have their own love language and next episode we will get the confession "in words" 😍
What I liked 💜
- I really appreciate that Jade is so straightforward with his feelings and doesn't hesitate to articulate them! He asks Kamin several times about their relationship and didn't hide his feelings. Finally we don't get the endless "misunderstanding-trope"
- furthermore I like that they still consider the superior - subordinate - theme, even if it's more like a tease than a real excuse from Kamin now because you can truely see now that Kamin really likes Jade and has feelings for him too.
- Our ABCD (AouBoomChenDunk) gang from Hidden Agenda is finally back 😍 I'm really looking forward to the four of them in the next episodes 💜
- the kiss right at the beginning of the episode was quite unexpected but really sweet 🥰 at first I was a little confused because it felt like it happened right out of nowhere but after rewatching the last scenes of ep 4 again it makes sense! Kamin was really worried about Jade, so has lived an emotional rollercoaste4 throughout the last hours and now he is relieved that his dear Jade is okay and can even joke around again. I think his bottled up emotions just came up and ended in this sweet little kiss 💜💋
- and again this whole "I'm worried"- theme again which I've already liked in ep 4. Sometimes an "I'm worried about you" says more than an " I love you" 💜
- i liked the "drama queen" line 😆 it just fits 🤭
- i really love the scenes where Jade and Kamin are looking in each others eyes 😍😍 for Example right after the kiss or in the wild hunt. Their looks are full of desire and love 🥰 and the director seems to love them too because there are so many eye-looking-scenes in each episode 😆
- Kamin knows how to light up Jades mood after the fight with Jay 😃
- finally Kamins jealous-era starts 🤭 after Nikolai has mentioned Yu, Kamin got so jealous he just signed the contract with Jade to move in 😆 and later in the bedroom and in the wild hunt he tried so hard not to seem jealous but you could read his emotions like in an open book 😆 I'm looking forward to more jealous moments next episode. Will we get possessive Dunk? 😁
- I like that we get all the flirty scenes in the most improper moments 🤣 it's somehow like a running gag now 😃
- and we got the confirmation in the last scene that Jade is really a virgin! Or does he only say it to seduce Kamin? 🤔

The towelbath
- actually a towel bath is one of the clichee-scenes in a BL series but if I remember right this was the first towelbath of JoongDunk (correct me if I'm wrong. In SIMM Kluen was ill but Dao only brought some congee 🤔)
- it was one of the hottest towel baths I've seen 🔥 Joongs body i in top form 🥵 that was the first moment in my life I wished to be a towel 🤣
- here again we had lots of looks and eye-contact and all the little smiles and smirks 😊 especially Kamin smiled so cutely 🥰
- Jade asks about their relationship and confessed his feelings
- the superior-subordinate-theme
- Jays knowing smile when he returns was the cherry on the top 😆 and his little tease about Jades smile after recieving the signed contract
Place for improvemt ☝🏻
- the story begins to get really messy. The series wants too much in only 10 episodes. We have:
1. The dytd murder cases
2. The backstory of all the avengers shady past
3. A big drug case
4. Ilegal boxing gambling
5. The love story
- I don't like that Jade looked perfectly fine on the way to the ER. There were no scratches, no dirt, no wounds... nothing. They could have at least put on some bruises or dirt...
- sometimes the editing was bad again. The switch between some scenes were abrupt
- well... you don't have to focus on logical crime investigation. Why did they go into the wild hunt without a backup plan or at least have some weapons with them. And shouldn't they talk about the case with the other investigation team on before? 😅
The murder case 🔪
- is Jay really the father of Puifais baby?
- where did Kamin get the photos of Cherreen and Champ from? We saw the USB Stick of Tonkla but Tonkla didn't know the photos, so on the Stick were only the video of the car accident
- Champ said that only him, Puifai And Cherreen wanted to be friends with Tonkla. But what about the other kids in the group?
- when they search Puifais room they only find the Dare Letter, but what happened with the truth letter? Didn't she get one?
And normally on the Dare letter are written only two names and you have to choose.
But here it's written: " why suffer alone, try diying and you'll see their true colors. wether truth or dare they'll all have to die". So first of all she has only to TRY to die and all the others HAVE TO die? 🤔
- we have a new mask again
- about the boxing-scene: i think Lee and Yu will save JadeKamin. Kamin gave them the in ears so they could hear what is happening

- who is Times father? It's a cop so perhaps we know him already
- what exactly are Lee and Yu doing there in the floor? The guys before weren't seen there anymore so they didn't arrest them... and there was a condom on the ground... perhaps they are even bigger love birds than JadeKamin 🤭🤭🤭

Often mentioned critics that I don't see like that 🤨
- There are still many people who critizise Dunks acting because it's too stiff etc. In my opinion it isn't Dunks fault, it's just Kamins character! I admit at first i've also had some problems with the new characters. Both, Jade and Kamin felt a little off but it wasn't about the acting. It was how they are written but now I've got used to them and i think Joong and Dunk are playing them well.
- dytd is often compared to Goddess bless you from death because both have the same author. Wel regarding the editing, budget and cinematography Goddess might be really better but regarding the plot i can't understand the critics! Goddess is so messy with way too many characters that you need a notebook to follow up the plot and especially in the last episode there were so many plotholes or illogical scenes.
On top of that I have the feeling that both series have another focus. Goddess is more a crime/mystery thriller with a romantic side plot while Dytd is a full BL with an investigation side plot 😅

what bothered me the most is that Goddess is often compared to Dare you to Death because it's the same author and there the haters complained about similar illogical scenes right from the start.
Sometimes i think "well the plot might not be perfect but there are only X episodes so they have to find a "fast" solution for this or that" and so it's ok for me. I like to guess about the case, i like to watch the romance and i simply want to enjoy the series without focusing on what might be not so good. Let's just focus on the positive things about each series and just have fun watching 😊
