PLSSS TELL ME WHERE U WATCHED THE 3RD EP its not working in kisskhπ
I know it's hard to afford all the BL streaming platforms but the BL series and actors give me so much in my life, i want to give them something back at least by watching their series on the official platforms, so that they get the recognition they deserve. I only get the netflix account for dytd and i will probably cancel it after this again
Hahaha actually i waited for the bow-dryer not the toaster π but acid makes more scence because she used acid…
Ah okay, then i got the meaning right. Yes, i think so too that something really terrifyingbmust have happened in the past which connects all the friends in the group and this is not all the dark secret erveryone has on its own. It must be something big which has happened to all of them.
So here I am back again π after being hyped up for the heartkillers right from the start one year ago it took me now 3 episodes to get into this series but after todays episode I'm finally hooked again π I must admit that I wasn't a big fan from the first two episodes, moreover because of a lack in writing than something else. But in episode 3 I finally got what was missing for me in ep 1 + 2.
What I liked: - Finally we got the build up an relatable progression in JadeKamins relationship! In the first episode their moments were cute but felt a little bit off for me. I don't like slowburns and I know that there is Something like love at first sight but somehow it didn't work for me in this series until now. The first softness in Kamins cool and distant behaviour started with the Line ID which he didn't gave the doc but Jade. He even lied to the doc that he doesn't use Line. The next moment was, when Jade saved him from the bullies. Kamin seems to be someone who is used to fight alone. He doesn't like to rely on someone else because he has learnt to be on his own. Perhaps he was betrayed by someone close to him and so he experiences now for the first time again, how it is to face enemys with someone by his side. I like how JadeKamin stand back to back. They trust each other. And Jade didn't hesitate to help him. After the fight you could see in Kamins face how it changed, how it got soft and how he felt like a little wounded child who was grateful to lean on a shoulder for the short moment of weakness. Furthermore the short moment before when they left Champ and Jade said "if something happened to you how am i supposed to live?" It might just be an ordinary pickup line from Jade but it was the first time, Kamin gulped and looked at him with other eyes. And last but not least of course the whole kiss scene π Again we have Kamin in a weak moment and Jade gave him all his attention, he dressed his wound and even put on the ointment. He caresses him softly and admits that Kamin is the only one whom he treated like that. Overall in this episode you can finally clearly see the progression in their closeness, how Kamin slowly opens up to Jade π - in relation to their relationship I have to mention the kiss scene of course! I really liked it because it was something we haven't seen from the other JoongDunk characters so far and the kiss fits their characters now. It isn't the shy teeny love like in SIMM or Hidden Agenda and it isn't the wild and horny lust like in the heartkillers. We got a mature kiss which wasn't exaggerated. Even if Jade might seem like a player you could feel his insecureness. His kiss was so soft and tender and he stopped immediately when Kamin went back. His look went down but it wasn't shyness. And then we had Kamin who didn't hesitate long. He only needed some seconds to recognize his inner feelings which craved for the warmth Jade gave him and kissed him back with certainty π and just take a look at Kamins fingers after Jades first kiss attempt! His fingers caressed Jades fingers all the time! He signalized him that Jade didn't do something wrong, he comforted him π the whole scene gave me so many butterflies π¦ - furthermore i liked the scene with the rental agreement. We get a little red thread here because Kamin asked Jade "are you lacking of warmth?" But actually it's him who is lacking of warmth like i already explained above. And actually... i hadn't signed the contract in this moment too because Jade was too persistant and i would have teased him too by making him wait π€π - and last but not least Joongs sexy abs in the shower-room scene and the fact that he didn't wear any pants at all π₯΅
Favorite funny moment: - the scene where Jade followed Kamin nearly completely naked into the bureau to fetch the towel π imagine one of your co-workers suddenly stands like that right before you, not knowing what has happened before in the shower room π€£
Suspects and questions regarding the murder case: - someone said last time that Kamin could be the murderer. I really loved this plottwist (even if i hoped it wasn't true) but i think now we can say, he isn't 4he murderer because he was busy making out with Jade while Bell was murdererd π - i think puifai might be the murderer. I don't think that she is really dead just because Parn is always in every DYTD interview and why should she be there so often when she only has 2minutes screentime in the whole series π€£ π§ - did anybody else noticed that it was another "face" on the mask? What does it mean? - and I'm not sure but does choosing the dare letter mean that the chosen one gets the new truth or dare letters or does it mean that this person will be killed for sure? - and who chose Bell? Because when I remember it right on Tonklas Dare Letter were written Jay and Chereen... - and if you choose dare, does it mean you are safe because someone else will die instead of you? - And why was Bell the only one who got the group photo but only 2 heads were strikethrough? In all the other group photos every head was strikethrough... - and why was written in the truth or dare letter "you almost got me killed"?
And with that, here we come to my open questions in general: - what has happened to Kamin that made him so cool and distant? Why did he study abroad? Why did he come back? What is his background? - what is the background of Jade? Why does he live with his brother in such a big house? What has happened to their parents? Why are they living together even if they are fighting all the time (yeah maybe these are just typical sibling fights...) - who the heck is Nikolai who called Kamin during the meal? He seems to know much about the case. - who were the bullies who attacked Kamin? Were they part of the loan shark gang of Tonkla? Or were they sent by Champs dad? - isn't a 7 day ultimatum very short to solve the case? Does it mean the whole series only playd around one week? - when did the last scene took place chronilogically? I was a bit irritated. Was it the morning after their kiss? Does it mean they went further than just a kiss when Kamin calls it "friends with benefits"? And why friends? They were a boss and his subordinate... co- workers... or landlord and tenant... but actually they weren't already friends before π or was it a scene which happened before the kiss.... i prefer that because i really want that next episode starts with the continuation of the kiss π
So now I've written a whole novel π i hope someone has read it just till the end and didn't get bored by my drivel π I'm really looking forward to next episode π
Ohhh, I wanted to the killings to be ironic, and gmmtv allowed it. That's why it's on netflix π they don't…
Hahaha actually i waited for the bow-dryer not the toaster π but acid makes more scence because she used acid herself before.
Oh yes, Fai as friend who got an abortion could make sense... but in another way. Perhaps she was pregnant because of Tars r*pe and it was more an advice from a good friend than something which was meant in a negative way.
Actually I'm not into Off but in this last scene he was so hot π₯΅ i loved his slender hips and his dark calculation by opening his pants knowing that Pheem will show up any second π And i liked the build up where he stopped Jira from following Pheem, Kohs face in profile next to Jiras! The cinematography is art by itself. ππ»
Actually I can't say which couple I'm rooting for. Pheem seems to love Jira but like Mawin said, he tries too hard! And nontheless he doesn't even understand Jira. Perhaps he is only so hooked now because he was never put down before and it's also an ego kind of thing... And well, Kho is a big red flag like i said but on the other hand he really understands Jiras inner self.
I get what you mean. I loved their acting as FadelStyle right from the start but until now (ep 2) I didn't get…
Awww thank you so much π i really loved thk and maybe i lowkey expected the same feeling now i had back then π I'm looking forward to their relationahip now π
I loved it to write down my thoughts and questions after each episode of thk back then, i'm still so obsessed with this series π and I'm happy that it reached some other fans and they had fun with them π₯°
I get what you mean. I loved their acting as FadelStyle right from the start but until now (ep 2) I didn't get…
Yes, i know this exists. Perhaps i'm still too much into their old characters π but nontheless i wish to get more backgroundstory for them. Why does Jade live alone with his brother? Why did Kamin is so reserved and studied abroad? I just want to know about them to follow their dynamic. I don't critizise their acting. I think it's suits their roles. It's more a critic concerning the writing and personal taste π
Listen....JoongDunk ate in The Heart Killers. In Dare You to Death thoughβ¦so far not landing. Dunkβs stiff…
I get what you mean. I loved their acting as FadelStyle right from the start but until now (ep 2) I didn't get warm with them. But I think it's not a problem of acting and more a problem of writing or perhaps directing. The characters are too 2D-like. Perhaps I need more background story. And sometimes I feel like they're already too close for a boss and his co worker who just have met π€·π»ββοΈ I feel a little sorry for JoongDunk because it's not their fault.
I don't understand Tawan.... Why can't he understand that Peach is just a brother figure for Aran.Although I love…
Yeah, he needs to get that his behaviour isn't right and pushes Aran farer away than gets him back. I agree that he should get some sort of penalty and change before getting back together and there are only 2 ep left... actually sequel for TawanAran would be great because i have the feeling we didn't get much Information about their past relationship yet
I like how this series manages to balance the comedy and some serious themes. One minute I'm giggling like a fool and the next minute I fear that someone will ger hurt because of the mafia background π
I loved the conversation between Plub and Thee and how they build a dreamteam now π₯°
But I fear that next episode will be the cursed episode. Was it Thees father who texted Mok? And what has happened to Tawan? Even if he is a red flag, I'm till rooting for PerthSanta π π And this Shohei guy won't give up so easily π
Only 2 episodes left and I have the feeling the series has just started...
Okay so Iβm literally LOSING IT over this BL right now.Like Iβm laughing one second and then suddenly my eyes…
I also love the part where Peach told Thee about his ex and that they talk in general about their feelings! Finally we get some maturity in BL and not the repetetive communication problems.
I'm not a big fan of comedys and not at all at "cringe comedy" but Me and Thee manages to find the right balance of cringeness and fun π i really love this series!
Ep. 7 was the best for me (so far)! I like to see the progression during the series. The first episodes were very funny and dorky and in the last episodes we get some background storys and beside enough funny moments there is also a part when the truth of real life kicks in and that nothing is pink and fluffy all the time. Todays episode was very emotional. I loved the part when Peach brought Thee to the orphanage. He laid his vulnerablity bare in front of Thee and Thee found the right words, some comfort and acknowledge of Peachs fight for a good future for him and his sister. Furthermore it felt like the first time where Thee could be a "child" again by playing there with the other children.
And the last scene was WOW! Not because it's a NC Scene but because you can see the progression in Ponds and Phuwins acting and their comfort towards each other π nobody can say anymore that Phuwin can't kiss! Their kisses in the darkroom and now in the bed were really hot π₯ and i loved the scene where Peach put his arms around Thees neck during kissing π₯° throughout the whole scene it felt genuine and the chemistry was overflowing π₯
And I like that they followed a nice buildup during the series and doesn't mix up too many plots at once. Now that we know something about both backgrounds, their feelings and the growth of their relationship we can focus on the mafia-part which seems to start right now.
And I'm curious if Perth will be the other model for Arseni in the spring collection because there wasn't enough PethSanta moments so far π
Episode 2 is here and now we have to wait for 2 long weeks π it feels like GMMTV hates us Dungjangs because last year we had the same 2 weeks of suffer with the heartkillers. But at least we didn't get such a Cliffhanger this time like it was in the heartkillers π
I really like the plot. It's very interesting and there is so much mystery right now so that i habe no idea who might be the killer. Is it really someone from the group of friends? And can you even call them friends? Their friend(s) died an noone sheds a single tear or seems to be sad? Even Jay (which i think isn't the killer because he is Jades brother) didn't seem sad the morning after Tars death. Okay he sad he was not very close to him but nontheless is was someone you know and hang out with...
Furthermore everyone in this group seems to have some shady background... Tar with his drug and rape theme, Champ and Chereen with their secret relationship, something is off with Tonkla who was there at the drink me bar. So i think we will get more hints about the shady background of all the other friends in the next episodes.
I ask my why the names Chereen and Bell were written on the Truth or Day Letter which was sent to Tar? π€
All in all I like this 2nd episode more than the first one. The first one wanted to much at once and felt hectic and a little bit off sometimes. The 2nd ep was better even if i still think that Jade and Kamin are too fast too close for people who have just met 2 or 3 days before... but well... actually i prefer that more than a slow burn but it was really fast, so that it doesn't feel very realisitcally for me unfortunately π nontheless i hope to see the kiss without a damn phone ringing next episode π
Merry Christmas to all the fans here π let us survive the next 2 weeks of waiting with rewatching some old JoongDunk series π
I think you can't compare DYTD with Manner of Death because DYTD has definitely romcom elements in it, so it's…
I agree that DYTD shouldn't be funny. It doesn't fit the theme in my opinion and it isn't as funny as THK for example. But i definitely see lots of chemistry between JoongDunk! It felt perhaps a little bit off because the first episode wanted too much: a hot introduction of the main characters, an interesting case to solve, some action, some sexual tension, funny elements and so on. That's why the first episode felt a little bit off for me. But it's more a matter of writing and editing than acting.
I just finished Manner of Death and in comparison this Dare you to Death is not it. I like Joong but the others…
I think you can't compare DYTD with Manner of Death because DYTD has definitely romcom elements in it, so it's a mix of genres. It has only the same theme : investigation of a murder. But the whole atmosphere is another. It's like comparing red with blue. Both are colors but are nontheless different.
I admit that i also needed some time to adjust to the atmosphere in dytd because the pilot teaser from last year was much darker (which i prefer) but gmmtv can't escape their love for romcoms π€·π»ββοΈ they've made the same with revamp π but i hope they won't ruin dytd in the same way.

My wishes/ possibilies of improvement:
- i didn't like the acting for Bell... her reaction in the bath wasn't very realistic. When suddenly a masked person just stand up next to me while i take a bath i wouldn't turn my back to him and grab my phone to take a call, i would rather splash water at him or throw my shampoo bottles or the phone at him π
- like i mentioned: the kiss was way too short π© and there wasn't Dunks hand at Joongs neck. A real JoongDunk Kiss has Dunks Hand at Joongs neck ππ
- i didn't like the cut from Jade dressing Kamins wound to the murder of Bell and back to JadeKamins kiss... i wouldn't say it ruined the mood but somehow it bothered me... and i feared all the time that they will be interrupted again by a phone call which informs them about the murder π
- i really really need more background Information about Jade and Kamin!
And with that, here we come to my open questions in general:
- what has happened to Kamin that made him so cool and distant? Why did he study abroad? Why did he come back? What is his background?

What du you mean with "sad under the surface"?
I especially love the las scene of ep 6 today. Koh is such a dark deep red flag π© and i fear 2026 starts with another red flag faible of mine π
Actually I'm not into Off but in this last scene he was so hot π₯΅ i loved his slender hips and his dark calculation by opening his pants knowing that Pheem will show up any second π
