Title Death's Game
it will be in prime video
I have high standards, especially when it comes to video and subtitle quality. They still don't have 4K or even a good FHD quality, but what is worse is that, even tho I can read pretty fast, I have to stop the video 10 times because they don't use line breaks. As an official translator myself, I hate when people (companies) don't care about quality. Especially because the platform isn't cheap at all. I didn't watch a lot of drama on Viki, but I don't have too many good experience, honestly. The sad thing is that, there's a lot of drama I want to watch on Viki, but the poorly translated subs and the others things I mentioned don't really convince me to pay for it.

Why? Prime is MILES better than VIKI, much cheaper too. The subs on Viki ruin the whole fun because most of them are really bad.

Sigh. I won't be able to watch this because it won't stream on Viki or Netflix. Oh well.
You can watch it on Prime Video!

'Dream Us' but it's not released yet.

Navy is part of the military. You probably mean army (like the US marines). Most of the time military is split…
Yeah, you're right.
Replying to yiyoung lover Nov 20, 2023
omg could you explain?
Well, you probably know the difference between the military and the navy uniforms if you used Google. The main difference is in the name. The Navy is mostly active on the SEA. I think you'll understand now.😉

I saw it MANY times that if a Kdrama isn't straightforward and don't say things out loud, they NEVER understand…
Haha, exactly.😅
On Castaway Diva Nov 20, 2023
I just realized something. Kiho went to the Navy instead of the military. If you know, you know. This guy never did a single thing for himself.👏 I only noticed this after I watched the episode again. If the viewer doesn't know what's the difference between the Navy and the Military, especially in uniforms, they're going to miss a huge clue for sure.

lmao i get you 😂 i know it is fiction, but we cant help but get bothered by how she survived on that island,…
Yeah, I get that, and you're right, but if we want realism in a Kdrama like this, we should want the same in every show and movie. Honestly, if they would've made it more realistic, people would lose their head. Most Kdrama fans only care about the romance. I would LOVE to see her struggling with PTSD and stuff, and I'm a bit sad they didn't do anything with that, but if they would do, the show would be at least 20 episodes long. Sometimes the budget don't allow artists what they really want to do, especially in Kdramas. Also, we already see, how Kdrama fans react when a story is a bit complicated than what they're used to. People already complaining that there are too many side-stories on the show.😅

When the writer finally completed the chaos around who is ki ho , she added her back-up filler about kiho's dad. This…
What are you even talking about. There's literally zero filler episode in this show. Kiho's dad is 100% a main story. Are you drunk? 🤣

It's unfortunate in some ways how most of todays romantic or even comedy dramas having this thriller twist/subplotlines
This is the first time when you watch Korean movies or shows? Because literally 90% of the Korean stuff has 5 different genres. And it's not like Castaway Diva isn't like this since the Pilot.😅 The 1st episode literally started with a child abuse.
Replying to Eva_gr Nov 19, 2023
imo the drama has been off course since episode 3 and is now very tiring, at least for me. Instead of watching…
That's Korea today. What is happening with the Kang family is happening with a lot of people every day in Korea. Their law is messed up when it comes to domestic abuse or any kind of abuse, especially against women or kids in school. So, yeah, the show is pretty realistic. Also, they literally mentioned why they can't change their names. I mean, they can change it legally, but because she's still married to that idiot, he can see her new name anytime he wants. This show isn't just about Mokha becoming an Idol. Also, there isn't to many sub-plots btw. Only the Ranjoo and the Kang family. So, it's only 3 stories. That's not a lot.

People in real life survived on an island for longer than her. I read about someone who lived 20 years. I'm not sure about their looks but this is just a Kdrama so I couldn't care less about that. But living on an island is realistic if you're not dumb as hell, you can survive. You can read about a lot of people online. Even the Castaway movie was based on a true story.

I liked King the Land, but it wasn't perfect. And yeah, it was cliche, but it was a feelgood show for me. So I wasn't fixated on the problems too much. Also, watching Yoona can make you forget the most ridiculous things, too.🤣

Exactly, and I think, Kdrama writers and companies starting to realize they should do more shows like western ones because nowadays, more people watch Kdaramas even tho they're not fans at all. That's why we can find more so called "confusing" shows now, unlike back in the day.

I'm honestly fed up with some Kdrama fans. Nowadays, it's so easy for them to say: "Oh, that person is a walking red or green flag." like if people are just simple like that. I saw some people saying, Doona is a red flag because she has anger issues. Dude, there's literally no person on this freakin' planet who don't have anger issues.🤣 I don't know why some Kdrama fans acting like a character has to act perfect all the time. Must be hard for them to find friends or partners if they think THE perfect person exist.😅

Title Castaway Diva Spoiler
Okay, as much I LOVED episode 8, I have to rant about the dumb viewers in the comment section.
I saw it MANY times that if a Kdrama isn't straightforward and don't say things out loud, they NEVER understand the point! Are you seriously telling me that you hate Ranjoo now and calling her selfish and hypocrite? Open your freakin' eyes and use your brains! It's there for a reason. Ranjoo is not selfish, if she's selfish, we could say the same about Mokha too, I mean she lied about the eggs, so she can be on stage. And now, Ranjoo is lying, because she knows Mokha don't want to be a singer till they sold 20M copies. She literally wants to alienate herself from Mokha, so she can fulfill her dreams after 15 YEARS!

Man, a lot of Kdrama fans are really dumb. Sorry, not sorry! I had to say this, because after so many shows, it's really irritating me. Most of the time, great shows getting bad ratings from people like them, because they don't pay attention to the little details, only the cute boys interesting for them. And they think the show is bad, but in reality, they're just dumb af or in the best case scenario, they lazy as hell.

Also, if you're offended by my comment, it means you're one of them. Sorry!

LOL. You literally had that in Doona. 3 girls and one boy. 🤣
I mean, I'm pretty sure that 80% of the Kdrama viewers are women, so.😅
