I only started watching this, it's so good. When Hyori, IU and Sang Soon helping you make music, I don't think anyone can top that. The 3 siblings, such great kids.
Yeah, and still no info about how or where can we watch it.
Yeah, that's pretty much a fact, but I don't get why they're doing worldwide promoting with multiple languages when they don't upload the episodes on Youtube. At least not right now.
I'm done, I'm gonna say it now! Best Kdrama in 2023 by far! If they ruin it after the pretty much perfect episode 7, I will throw out my TV. π€£ WOW! I mean, WOW! I won't spoil anything, obviously, but man, Park Eun Bin, you're one hell of a powerhouse actress! The writing, so far, is top-notch. What they did with Morae and Ranjoo, hats off, guys!π The whole Mokha, Kiho and Kang family story is just bloody fantastic and intriguing. I really hope they won't mess up their story.
Well, she is the second since the begging because Mokha couldn't be there. She's not even a good singer. She represents…
I'm 110% sure she's not a real fan of Ranjoo. Why? Because if she's a fan, she wouldn't want to help destroy her. One thing to be jealous of Mokha and angry, but if she would be a real fan like Mokha she wouldn't help Lee. Also, fame doesn't equal with talent. Anybody can be famous if they look cute or sexy. Or they just have to be stupid, specially nowadays. π In real life, most singers are average at best and yet, a lot of them are famous, because average people don't know anything about vocal range and how real talents can sing. Singers are merchandise, people don't love them because they're great singers, they love them because they have an image that the companies created for them. I get why she's angry, but you can see in her face that even she knows that she's not good enough. I don't think Ranjoo will betray Mokha btw. That would be a character suicide.
Well, she is the second since the begging because Mokha couldn't be there. She's not even a good singer. She represents…
It's not like she hates Mo Rae, she just doesn't like her as a singer because that idiot guy forced her to make her a star. She literally took Ranjoo's place, even tho Mo Rae is a below average singer. It's not like Ranjoo bullied her or something, she just didn't show any affection towards her. If Mo Rae wanted to prove she's better, she should've worked harder, but she accepted her fate because her success came easy. I say it as it is: Mo Rae is lazy as hell. She wants success, fame, admiration, but she doesn't want to work for it. At least, based on the episodes we saw so far.
Even if she's 31, she can still be an idol sure Korea is competitive but her story is inspiring and her headline/Album/Memoir…
That headline wouldn't take long. People forget things easily. That's why it's called "Viral". Most people, especially in the Pop business, not just in Korea, want new and sexy people with the same crap music. Real talents like Mokha doesn't really have a chance if they older than 30. BTW there are many singers with sad backstory, that the whole basis of the talent shows nowadays. The first thing you hear about them is not their singing voice, it's their story. But how many of them became a huge success. 1%, probably.
Honestly, I kinda understand Eun Mo Rae's anger, because Ran-joo acts like, she is the second since the beginning.…
Well, she is the second since the begging because Mokha couldn't be there. She's not even a good singer. She represents the average at best Kpop singers in the real world whom are only famous because they're cute or sexy or both, but they don't really talented. They just do the bare minimum. That's why Eun Mo Rae is frustrated because she knows this too, that's why she didn't want to sing live.
Someone give me the next episode, or I throw someone in that lake. π€£ I wanna see Mokha beat the * out of that egoistic Moe Rae. Honestly, this show is a really good representation of how toxic the music industry is, and not just in Korea. Idiot fans forget their favorite artists like they never existed in the first place, and always "love" the new and shiny version.
The scene where Mokha cheered for Ranjoo alone was so good and funny too. Not to mention, what Moe Rae got from Ranjoo after that. That was the prime example of: "Don't mess with the Lion, or it bites your head off." π€£
That wasn't really a ghost-singing, everyone saw both of them.π
Oh okay. I'm not sure about that either. Trailers can be deceiving. They don't really have a choice at the moment, tho. My guess is that she's going to start her own career after episode 8 or so.
Right? It might make me more nervous than the "Who is Ki Ho?" mystery. It's scary when movies or shows show old…
Use spoiler for your 1st comment too, please! It's a pretty big spoiler what you said about Mokha and Ranjoo. Also, old Ranjoo is talking to someone I think, maybe she will have a kid later or Mokha's kid and both Mokha and Kiho is dead.π€£
You can't say the writer doesn't do a good job. I said it many times, I couldn't care less who's Ki-Ho is, but this is a well written show for sure. Mokha and Ranjoo are just too good together. Also, I'm not sure if the scenes with the old lady is Ranjoo in the future, or it's just another red herring, but it's interesting for sure. π Castaways Diva is a really good weekly watch. I don't think there are many Kdrama that I could enjoy weekly.
Tokyo revengerβs adaptation was fantastic! Alice in wonderland is fantastic and there are so many more! Japan…
I didn't see Tokyo. And that's Alice in Borderland.π And yeah it was great, but the difference is that it's not a shounen fight adaptation where so many CGI needs to be done. Most Japanese adaptions that are good are slice of life, thriller, crime, or horror adaptations. I've seen a LOT btw. I'm not nitpicking. The CGI is crap. I've seen better from fans. Just watch some fan-made adaptation on YT. I don't care if the show will be good, the trailer is garbage, simple as that.
If this would be a 100% Netflix adaptation, everyone would say the same thing. I mean, they did it many times. Death Note or Cowboy Bebop didn't have worse CGI or wigs etc, yet, people still said after one trailer that both were garbage.
The Kihoo should be revealed by next episode otherwise this will very annoying and takes away the beauty of series.…
I mean, I don't want it to drag for long, but honestly, I couldn't care less. I see that basically everyone talking about this and most people want romance, but all I care about is the womance. I'm only interested in that. Honestly, I hope there won't be any romance in this.π
They say Netflix can't make a decent anime adaptation. They just did with One Piece. I'll say, Japan can't do it either. The last time they made a good shounen adaptation was Kenshin. This is just another averages at best adaptation from Japan, like Bleach or FMA! The VFX is really bad and those wigs, Jesus. π
I agree about the plot part in Doona. I love the show, but with 12 episodes it would've been much better. I wouldn't say, it's boring, they just left too much for the imaginations. If the viewer doesn't pay attention, they will miss a lot. I love CLOY too, and it's kind of weird that I gave 9/10 for Doona and 8/10 for CLOY, but the main reason is that I didn't really like the ending. Sure it's realistic, but still weird, and also, I had some other problems with the show. The actors are amazing, that's fore sure. Basically everything they did in the past is in my PTW list. π I think I gave Doona a better score because it was much better than I expected and had fewer issues with it. Not to mention that I can relate with the characters more.
BTW did you watch Doona? I can't find it on your list. I was curious about your rating. π
