this is one reason I'm not a fan because almost any so like this, the kissing is just meh. like if you have actors don't feel comfortable kissing either cast ones that do or block it differently, because it looks wooden and they don't look like they're into each other at all
The fact that you have to ask this is really concerning me rn
it's true, I literally said I think the show was meh and that the show wasn't cast well, Particularly Earth, he's a phenomenal actor and this wasn't a role for him. one comment was informative, the others attempted to drag me for having an opinion
I guess bls watchers in general, including me, don’t really like a pure comedy (rom-com is always the most popular…
I like comedy, but this wasn't good, and the comedy was forced to me. I love earth as an actor, but he was miscast. almost as bad as the guy from sotus in antique bakery. I think remaking it for Thailand stripped it of its original quickness and charm, even Japan dropped the ball making so many spinoffs
I mean, I’m a gay man myself, and I love (good) BLs. The problem is that most BLs are still stuck in the 80s…
facts 👌🏾 being queer myself, this has always been my view with these shows. the Philippines seem to target males, but the production and acting can...vary
you're not the first person not liking the series, but to comment about the body shape is wrong when he was actually…
I'm not wrong, I clearly state that is not why I dislike the show; its just something I noticed, especially from seeing his earlier work. thank you for bringing it to my attention because I don't follow these stars lives so I was unaware of his situation
none of the characters are asexual after episode 6. In it, Kaori says she is attracted by men at first then gets…
just because he Sexually assaulted someone doesn't make him invalid as an ace person. that's my point. they aren't really exploring it. thank you for the suggestions. I'll check them out
I picked up on this too, especially on the part of the girlfriend and they also hinted at it with the pregnant…
right! because they do this subtle hinting, but never exploring it. I suppose because the focus of course are the leads, yet their relationships affect them and they never get explored
And then how does an asexual person assault and supposedly rape someone? You have to have a bone to penetrate…
clearly you have nothing better to do. I didn't support the sexual assult. I'm talking about both characters and the fact how they are coded as such and how they are being handled. you're presumptuous comment is proof you just want to pick fights.
I find this very interesting because it's touching on asexuality but never really exploring it. that's what I think anyway. like how do you navigate a relationship with someone who doesn't have a sex drive and how do you get that relationship to work. would love more countries even the US to really go into it more
it's not good. earth feels miscast. and now looks like every other bl main. he's bleached and thin. that's not why I'm not feeling it. the pacing is slow and while there is a chuckle here and there. as it's own show it's just now done well. I know I just drew the ire of the Stans.
not A fan of this type of setup where the interest antagonisies the MC and it's looked at as cute. for me it's truly frustrating and será me off in the worst way possible; yeah it's a trigger and even if it wasn't it's still a dated troupe that is tiring.
This is interesting, because it's the same all over when it comes to being in front of the camera. I feel, and this is my opinion, it would be harder for BL actors because they might have less protections in place or people to keep them from being taken advantage of.
Like the product placements here in the US used to be as bad, but have now toned down. It feels like a shift is happening in the BL world now that more queer people are watching it, directing and writing them, and shifting away from the toxic culture that it was born from.
So I'm interested in shows like this and lovely writer that highlight the issues inherent in the genre, the lovely writer is more off handed with it.
The point is media and the public place actors in boxes that they have no business doing, and we consume without question. And it's good that change is happening, however small
I agree this show belongs in a tin can
