I like endings that resolve most issues. They don't have to be happy endings all the time but at least have most…
I still have issues with the pushing/forcing people into toxic relationships and victim blaming. Zag had no right to just throw himself into a problem that wasn't his, no matter his intentions intentions. I get they do some of this, but they need to evaluate the toxic parents and there effects/consequences on their children. This perception that that parents are faultless is troubling. This ending just felt so empty
She is. That was the last conversation they had before she passed away. IT seems she always knew he was Gay and…
My worry now is Kyo freaking out because Rocky said love. To be fair that would startle most people, but I'm like you wanted to hit on him so... Wonder what will they do?
It's well deserved. The stories so far have been well acted, well developed and really retalable.
Don't apologise, cause it's true. I admit that yes they have published something and got a show deal, still doesn't mean their work is good. But somehow people treat it like they are master pieces
Ok so episode 9 was...meh. I love how the mother after she caused the damage is like "oh I'm sorry..." Again what is with all the terrible parents in these dramas? Also Zag should've said no, it wasn't his place to mend someone else's relationship. These dramas do this toxic thing of, "oh my heart was in the right place, or I'm just trying to help, etc.." but they just never support the one their with. Instead they get mad and be in their feelings blaming the person who they meddled with (Hook up) Still I think it's a cute show over all, but toxic behaviour need not be romanticised or normalized and I'm just helping you cause I love you.
People want so much for will to be the villain they confusing him with Nuan. Nuan is the one "stalking" Joey. Nuan doesn't deserve how he's being written. Like they basically threw the only decent character under the bus in my opinion. Honestly Will and Nuan have been the less dickish. I'm noticing people like the jerks to end up with the main, but guys who are decent they either vilify or find reasons not to like them. Will has done nothing wrong to Joey except keep Nuan away from Joey. That's all we know let's not make assumptions when we still don't have a full picture. Now Jimmy confessed. Ugh. Let me guess if Joey runs into Nuans foster dad will he be onto Joey too. And the Kenji scenes...come on. Dude should've been let go, its almost as bad as Ae in LBC 2
I love how everyone is like "after this episode..." Don't forget we're only half way through, we shouldn't be proud that's it's just now getting better it should've done that with the first two. There's only 13 to get "better" at five is troubling
Asia being obsessed with the "fair-skin" look creeps me out. I'm as white as a sheet of paper. Where I live tanned…
Yeah colorism is a big problem in Thailand. If you notice they don't show darker complexion in lead roles, especially in BL. There only a handful that do. Like love poison, Bangkok G, etc...even then it's not much
Yassss, like i have read fics with poly relationships and their so freakin amazing. 3 will be free was a poly…
I just think because most of these stories aren't written by lgbt folk and the fact how Philippines view relationships play a factor in what is shown on tv. I can't speak really to any degree being american, but I just wonder. Even polyamory is taboo here, so it would be amazing to see them think of tackling it. So many BL focus on this notion of "the one" because these narratives are wish fulfilment, and that's fine, but it ignores alot to create that narrative. There's only one BL I've seen that suggested it at the very end and it never came to pass.
The beginning of the second episode feels a bit toxic and problematic. These scenarios of people being jerks but people bending over backwards just feels icky. I understand forgiveness and moving on, but these things seem to happen to fast and just send the message of he's a jerk but just give him what he wants and he'll open open to you then yay love. At least that's the vibe I'm getting, take that with a grain of salt That isn't to say that isn't the intention of the overall show, but all this manipulative twisted logic is just tiring. The victim taking the blame because?? Like sure the guy feels guilty but you taking his guilt is not helping someone, unless it's life or death. Or the "I will keep the club open of you tutor him" and "he helped you, so help him" that is hella toxic environment and a lazy way to push a already vague plot forward. I'll stick with it, but I'm not holding out hope
Cute and very bold start! I'm already in love with Sang Ha, he is so adorable and likeable. So it wasn't awkward to find himself in bed with his idol it was a dream come true, lol. But Korea...stop giving us a movie cute into parts! Three 10 minute episodes are the same as one episode anywhere else!
Wonder what will they do?
