Married roommates raising a baby together, indeed 😂
And in case I haven't been clear enough, I really dislike YD. She's done some terrible things to TK not only in ghosting him, but in how she did it: without even leaving him a goodbye note like she did for her family. She should not have been forgiven for that by the writers and we the audience need to keep that in mind too. I feel bad for TK that he's drawn to someone like her. BN was actually right: he is too good for her and the grief she's brought to his family.
Married roommates raising a baby together, indeed 😂
correction: Married (on paper) roommates raising a baby......
Their relationship bugs me to no-end and I put most of the fault on her. (I was going to make a long post on this, but not worth it.) The only man she's loved is KJH who got her pregnant and cheated on her. She never loved TK, and still doesn't. She loves how he cares for HER child, yet still questions his love for her baby. So they are partners in child-rearing, at best. The marriage registry was a legal formality, nothing more. She has the briefest of flashes of affection for him, but they disappear as soon as they come. What are the two foundational elements of a loving relationship? Trust and Communication. They lack both. They are married because they have to be. Their "love" never grew as it normally would. And her ghosting him and having a grand old time raising HN alone, pretty much proves how much she 'loved and needed him'.
I'm sorry, but TK has always been an afterthought in her mind and at the most, he is something she reacts to now. She does not love KJH anymore, but she won't let TK into her heart as much as KJH was, despite everything he's done for her.
I wish they'd never brought her back, and concentrated on the other couples. Then they could have done a timeskip where an older TK, who's moved on with his life, meets a grown HN and gets to know her. A bittersweet ending we deserve more than the garbage we've gotten.
Well you missed not a single thing because nothing has happened since in "The Kim Junha Has Come." Oh I guess…
BT, will you be doing a recap today? I'm on the fence if I even want to see it. I'd end up FFing thru the KJH scenes and I'm not sure I want to see DW/YM downward spiral.
I predict JH will be shot by the police but not seriously injured. After his jail sentence, he will be deported…
At this point: JH is too beloved by the writers. He'll just wind up humbled and 'dissapear into the mist'. DW is too stupid to do anything right. He'll wind up with SK's mom, because "family" and she'll go back to the US, broken-hearted, to complete her studies. This was the most wasted storyline in the series. Maybe there will be a timeskip and they can reconcile, but his cluelessness and heartlessness has hurt her too much.
This hack of a writer definitely loves the demon duo and hates the leads. Today was once more insufferable 55…
And yet, those 2 issues get <10% of the airtime of the show. He has the perfect opportunity to turn down the angst and viewer anger with the leads story line and concentrate on the others, and fails.
Just watched it. How did they walk away from the scene with JP spilling the beans???? MR doesn't tell him what…
That's the reaction I expected from her originally in finding out she was actually alive. But now, I don't know if even when the actual truth is exposed, if HD will think of KS at all. She'll prolly still tell him to stay there with JD's family for support. When she banged her hand like that, I wanted SS to smack her. We need JinJu to come back and take charge of those girls.
I am super late today, just finished. KS needs to get his 💩 together for pete’s sake.
Just watched it. How did they walk away from the scene with JP spilling the beans???? MR doesn't tell him what happened while they're outside???
At least the actor playing SD is having fun. He really seems to be enjoying himself. And while KS needs his head examined, that scene with him stumbling into YJ and Dongie was pretty cute. SJY killed that scene with the expressions on his face.
All that being said....MR needs to get out. KS is gonna buckle under HD/JD/SJ pressure. Thank goodness for SS again. SUE FOR DIVORCE, KS. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR???
I'm with you. I've only seen the un-subbed YT clips. But if Sher's theory is correct (teddy bear?) and SJ has…
We keep getting suckered into trying to inject reality or science into this harebrained plot. They'll find some excuse to do what they really want the characters to do.
I am really confused about the whole JD’s DNA matches her mother’s DNA business. If JD’s DNA matches SJ’s…
I'm with you. I've only seen the un-subbed YT clips. But if Sher's theory is correct (teddy bear?) and SJ has a sick kid, why is JD a match? At best she's a half-sister, and SJ would be the better candidate. UNLESS, they both have the same dad (James Kim) who is dead and can't be a donor? Who know you'd have to be an oncologist to watch this show????????
Currently zooming thru watching Homemade Love Story which is SUCH a nice palate cleanser in comparison to the…
LOL, I try to not think about this show any more after Monday or Tuesday. I've really run out of things to say. Our Daily drama is driving us nuts too but the sheer speculation flying around on that forum is fun.
Like you, I too have sought refuge elsewhere. My happy place is re-watching King The Land. I'm limiting myself to one ep per night, no binge-watching allowed. It's my Happy Place and was written by people who didn't want to try to impress everyone with how 'clever' they are and ended up withegg on their face. KTL is like a croissant: Light, fluffy, sweet, and it makes me feel good. I need that after the slop we've been force-fed here. and I DGAF about whatever criticisms it gets for being too thin. If you want romance, its the answer for me.
I wonder if JD not being KS bio child is another part of the story that got chopped so they have plenty of time…
No, I can't imagine. JD not being his, is part of SJ's story. If they decided to leave out SJ after all, then I could see "forgetting" about JD.
But since she's back, JD's truth will come out. The question is: what will be the impact? Or, in other words, Who stands to benefit from this? Will SJ use it to split JD from her Dad? But she really doesn't want JD except for her organs (ewwww, she sounds like Dr. Frankenstien). The effect of the news will be to (in the short-term) separate JD from her Dad. Long term???? dunno.
MR figures into this too, I think. Does HR tell MR, after seeing MR suffer at JD's hands? So that MR has all the info she needs to make a decision on what to do? And how mad will MR be at KS for not telling her this? His defense will be "I am JD's dad, no matter what". And of course, JD's reaction when she hears. Who will she be more angry with? her mom or dad?
Like I said yesterday, the speculation on how they'll go with this is so much more interesting than the actual show.
Absolutely because she is not backing down no matter what KS says because she knows at one time she could force…
We discussed his possibly being a virgin a couple of months ago. I think that is probably correct, especially in his demeanor around other women (esp. MR).
In Its Beautiful Now, the leads were divorce lawyers and they had a client come in who wanted to annul their marriage. IIRC, and if the show was accurate, they had 2 options: 1)Annulment, which is almost impossible to do once you've lived together and otherwise tough anyways. 2) Cancellation of the Marriage, which is easier to do and avoids being labelled as a divorcee. Cancellation, however does not remove the marriage registration (as annulment does), but marks it as no longer valid. And as in divorce, both of these options require a reason to cancel/annul and agreement by both parties.
Exactly how did SJ prove she is JD’s mom to the hospital??? She is no longer a korean citizen. They would have…
As an adult, I had myself screened for specific allergies via bloodwork and it STILL had to be approved by the lab's resident MD. Patients just can't walk in and have bloodwork done. Having no idea how it works in SK, I'd assume SJ told her Dr she was bringing in her daughter to be screened and that Dr. called the lab with the order for the blood work. But when did that happen? She spoke with the Dr. immediately before seeing JD, and said she hadn't contacted the family and then JD was with her all the way to the hospital. Did she call the dr on the way to arrange for the lab work?

Again, sloppy writing.
