She has great kisses in jugglers. That’s my favorite drama of her
Thank you, Ericka, I'm going to put Jugglers on my to-watch list, since it's only 16 eps. I just need a little space from YeonDoo first.
She is almost unrecognizable (and MUCH prettier) in that proposal scene from the other series. Between her hair and what appears to be a much fuller face, she really is a beautiful woman.

Ericka, I watched all the clips you posted. She is SO different in those older shows. What strikes me is the connection/chemistry she had with her leads then. There is only the slightest sense of that here with AJH. I'm speechless.
God Almighty I watched Ep. 46 subs for the Joon-ha scenes (actor Jung Eui Jae is doing great) but was so pissed…
This show has me hallucinating by now, but I could SWEAR he mentioned something to SeJin waaay back about being raised in an orphanage. I'll be darned if I'm going back and re-watch all their scenes from when he returned, though.
Honestly, the fact JH wanted to take her drinking made me think he wanted to get her drunk and take advantage…
I know it was late, thus too late for dinner. But take her out for dessert somewhere. Even an ice cream parlor would be nice. I know they're adults, but drinks for a first 'date'? ummmmmm NO.
Darn few highlights from this one too. Toss it in the trashcan with Ep45. I guess we're still doing spoiler tags.
THE GOOD: - YM gets up and leaves in protest to TK's meeting with the family to confirm he's leaving the register. That was one of the few realistic scenes of family life I've seen lately from this show. He is the only sibling she's close to and her pain and disbelief are palpable. THE BAD: -DW breaks up with YM to concentrate on being a dad to SK. Of course, because he doesn't need a smart, pretty, patient woman by his side who loves him and cares for his daughter. The only person stupider than DW is the dummy writing this scene. THE UGLY: - Hee finally meets SooJung (again). Sigh. Will this ever end? We get it, writers: You don't know what to do with them. But putting it on a Lazy Susan and spinning it round and round doesn't get it anywhere. Wash, Rinse, Repeat ad infinitum....
Thoughts on TK's wild afternoon/evening: I know many found it amusing, I didn't: - it was really sad for me to see him reduced to this state. -Shame on Uncle for getting him drunk. -Shame on TK (or anyone) not calling YD to let her know where he.was. -Shame on the writers for not telling us HOW someone so inebriated could get to his parents house from the Chicken Store. In the prior weekend-ers, they went to great pains to show when a character had too much to drink, they either called for a cab, or a chauffeur service to take them and their car home. But here? NOPE. We're left to believe he really drove home???? WHO is vetting these scripts???
yet another whirlwind episode: -Does anyone really think that KS will actually move out of his own initiative? -Thank you, SD! Keep fighting for your son! And keep your eye on that witch MIL! -I had to FF thru a lot of the SJ/JD scenes at the beginning. SJ just creeps me out, and we know where this is going. -We finally get to see YeJu without that #$%% ponytail. She looked great. Although, I'm still not crazy about that relationship. And I don't approve of taking her to a bar: Can she even hold her liquor? Big Dong is going to have a coronary when he finds out who his son is seeing! -As far as the whole Auntie/DH/Big Dong thing: I can only assume they are deliberately exaggerating things for 'laughs'. That, or societal differences there make locking up your sister OK??? -I was proud of MiRae at the beginning. STAND YOUR GROUND. Why is she the stronger one in the relationship? -Come on, HoRang! Spill the beans already. We're counting on you!
I noticed that if you listen to the theme song (usually played over credits/preview) at .75 speed, it's much more listenable. Almost a calypso-like beat.
Also, I wish the actor who plays Dongy would get rid of his contacts and just get glasses. His squinting is driving me nuts.
Meanwhile, Kang San encounters Sun Ju in an unexpected place and is perplexed... Shall we start theorizing where…
Maybe she's at the gimbap shop helping her mom as a good 'filial' daughter?
To be logical, KS doesn't go that many different places: gimbap shop, Ok's house, Art Academy, Bakery, DH's room, convenience store in the neighborhood
I agreed with her confused reaction when he told her he was breaking up with her to just be SK's dad. Because he was insinuating that having her in SK's life was a bad thing. He hurt her on a couple of levels there. She was right to get out of the car and walk away.
But, I have to be realistic, this is on the writers. They have no idea what to do with them, so they'll just continue to minimize them. You can't have a meaningful secondary couple relationship that gets less than 5 minutes of airtime per episode.
I'm no fashion expert, and I prefer this hair to the wanna-be-Extraordinary Attorney Woo hairstyle pre-baby. What…
What's interesting is that in certain background shots in prior episodes there are pictures of her in long-hair from advertisements when she was working for the teaching academy. She looks completely different and better in long hair.
I'm prejudiced because I like YM. And he NEEDS someone smart and patient like YM in his life. I'm not sure what he brings her, though, other than her attraction to his 'type'. I don't know enough about cafe-owner to pass judgement on her. We still don't know why she would abandon her daughter with him. Until that's resolved, I can't say anything about her.
I recently saw a drama with the actress who plays YD, and she can kiss! However, here she looks like a rock and…

What drives me bananas is they sleep like 2 mummys in King Tut's tomb. Could they be any further apart from each other in the same bed? To me, that screams 'something is wrong' if that happened in real life. What happened to the YD that would curl up with him when they slept together at the annex?
And I agree. If her acting was more wooden, she'd have termites. I still think YD has a backup plan to leave him if things get any worse.
i have not even watched the subbed episode bc i feel like i am in a hamster wheel running round and round and…
There's really no point to watching the subbed version. I did, and frankly don't even feel moved enough to write a recap for the first time in this series. They've screwed up the secondary couples so bad, well, whatever. The only thing of interest is: Should Granny die BEFORE he gets put on the register, he has no claim to ChanSik's family and can't be registered? He can't just register himself?
Evidently, the WTOD drivers are on strike in Seoul. So no relief from them.
Lol, they are tired, especially AJH, as his pictures on set prove. And I can't blame him nor the rest of the cast.…
OK, thanks. Just the thought of being in a show that they now must know is unpopular must be demoralizing.
At this point, I say, why not the wrong-hotel-room theory? Everything else is a joke, might as well put this in too, and give TK the leg up on KJH. Can't hurt what's already broken.
Based on this morning's YT clips, I am left with the following impression: This is the most listless acting I've seen in the series. The whole cast just seems sick of it. As if they are just going thru the motions.

Am I wrong?
