Dong Wook is a very young single dad. He ought to be grateful that Yu Myung has accepted his daughter. Why did…
The short (and easy) answer is that he's an idiot. And he is. But I think the writers just don't want to be bothered by this storyline anymore, considering how much they've throttled it back. Personally, outside of the completely botched TK/YD storyline, their story is the other disaster in the show. Think of the huge plot-hole where somehow YD has no idea that SK has the contract with JOY entertainment and who her manager is. That right there tells me they can't be bothered with it. My suspicion is their story is an artifact from the previous writing team and it survived the purge in characters when the new team took over (think Pharmacist Lady & JM's assitant). The new team couldn't just write them out too, so they gradually minimized their time on screen together.
Just when you thought the show couldn't get any worse, they made it happen. How did they manage to suck ALL the enjoyment out of this series? Why am I watching it? Why bother to have YM/DW as a couple when their story gets all of 3:30 of run time in a 69 minute episode? How lame is that? Is ANYONE thinking? Was it really necessary to sledgehammer us all with negativity and sadness THE ENTIRE EPISODE?
I'd give a negative point value if I could. This one stinks worse than week-old garbage in the summer heat.
Anyone else just flat out tired from this week’s episodes?
it's funny, how we've come from weeks and weeks of nothing happening, to the last few where it's hard to keep up. I'm actually pleased we get a 2 day break.
As a lighter note, KBS America is airing the episode where dongy asks YJ out to have coffee with him, while JD meets SJ. Dongy is wearing the same tie KS wore when he went to the Ok's house that ill-fated day.
HE IS SO WEAK!Gawd, I can't take much more of him. This whole episode he is so frustrating. SJ must have had him…
I'm concerned about the health of Nam Sang Ji. Her wedding photo is posted here and she looks TERRIBLE. So gaunt! She messaged that she is aware of it and working to get better. She did a guest role in Woman in a Veil a few months ago, and looked 'better' but still lost a lot of weight. here's the article: https://kisskh.at/article/actress-nam-sang-ji-announces-marriage-plans
Having gone thru this recently with my mother's estate, it's pretty much the following (at least here in California):The…
As rmtaylor noted below, until we know WHY she came back, nothing really makes sense of her yet. She ain't Daughter of the Year material, that's for sure.
Here’s my unsolicited .02:Everything that has been said in this thread is correct. So why, I wonder, are we…
My career (such as it was) was to find problems and provide solutions and this is the only way I can explain how someone so smart could suddenly turn so dumb - it can't be the same person. And the writing for YD proves it: He would never let HIS creation, his 'child' be so reduced as she was.
It's so late there, go to bed. Tomorrow will be more grief.
HE IS SO WEAK!Gawd, I can't take much more of him. This whole episode he is so frustrating. SJ must have had him…
I know it's hardly Dr. Zhivago, or Gone With the Wind, but for a feel-good show with romance off-the-charts, nothing will ever come close to KTL. Yoona & JunHo were unreal together, plus we know about their background IRL, which makes it even better. There was just enough drama to keep it interesting, and no dopey tropes either. I can't imagine a future couple on screen ever coming close in chemistry. They broke the mold. If I want romance or just something to make me happy, KTL is my happy place.
Thanks for pointing out YD being a top instructor and that she her career is completely done for. The drama has…
Whats really peculiar is how we're having almost the same discussion in the AOME group. I posted the other day there about what message that show is sending by its lead characters behavior. Strange.
Reading some of the Korean views of today;s episodes - they are as upset as we are. One person said SJY is a good…
You know, just watching him at the beginning of Ep106: Who is directing him? He is absolutely frozen in that scene. Just staring blankly into space, not even a twitch. I've never seen anything like that from a foreground character. I'm putting that one on the Director.
HE IS SO WEAK!Gawd, I can't take much more of him. This whole episode he is so frustrating. SJ must have had him…
My plan, Sean is that I'm holding My Father is Strange, Once Again and Five Enough in reserve for next month and watch them for a while until I'm convinced the HyoShim is OK. Heck, I might just re-watch King The Land just because it makes me so happy.
And yeah TRHC is a lost cause for me. The watermelon couple story is worth watching - I'm more interested in their story than the leads at this point. But the series is too unstructured to have airtime commitment to them. Too bad.
He acts like he is scared to death of her. What did she do to him while they were married?!?!. He seems like he…
She'll be left with SD....poor SD!!! I'm afraid that knowing KS, he didn't insist on documenting his share of the store "oh no, Mother, don't worry about it" and it's all in her name.
From the conversation that she had with her attorney, she was disposing properties related to James Kim. Don't…
The 'story' would be he was the river-saving guy and would up being sugar daddy. But in reality????? Sher is right, KS needs a Private Investigator to find out what is going on.
This is going to be a stupid question so please don’t make me feel bad for showing my ignorance 😂 but do…
Having gone thru this recently with my mother's estate, it's pretty much the following (at least here in California): The executor of the will or officers of the trust for the estate must follow the directions given by the decedent. Those directions can be challenged in court, but it's hard to overturn a legally established trust. As long as the heirs are alive and can be contacted, they (where ever they are) will receive the proceeds of the inheritance. The executor and trustees can be compensated by the trust for their time and effort involved in identifying and locating heirs (these costs to be withheld from the total inheritance).
Complicating this would be if the heirs are involved in criminal activity, especially acts that led to the death of the decedent. Or, in this case, the heir's relationship was an illegal one (bigamy). This would be up to state law for where the decedent lived. I would expect that inheritance to be challenged in court as a case could be made the decedent would never have made SJ an heir had he known she was married to another man at the time.
