The letter got me, too. When the greeting was Ms. Ok, my heart broke but those tears were just some of the many…
It was so good, I've watched it 3 times, tears be damned. When she said please don't abandon me again (the EXACT words I wanted her to say), it really gets to me.
Hey guys question, I've seen people wanting TK turning out to be the bio dad of Haneul. But how could they make…
Marie, if you scroll down below a ways, member Bloomingtide can provide more detail, and she recounted the original theory proposed months ago by the domestic fanbase in SK. This was poo-pooed by most here as being unreal, but given the direction of the series lately, anything is possible. In a nutshell: At the beginning of the series TK & JH lived at the same hotel. TK's room was one floor directly above JH's . Sometime in Early February, YD mistakenly went to TK's room (both were inebriated) and they created Haneul, not realizing who was mating with whom. Since they were both drunk, neither remembered things happening that way and they still don't.
DH finally shared what he wanted to say from the heart. Honestly expecting both KS and MR to get kicked out eventually.…
KS won't stand for anyone bullying her. He's very forthright with acting on what he thinks are 'wrongs' done to anyone he cares about. HR needs to wise up, it's Game Over.
CR must have taken after her mom probably. Since she was not negative about it at all. She has been judgemental…
I think CR/DH will be a good parents for MR. But I just don't see them together in the future as a couple. The best part of a DH/Ding pairing would be that DH would be Big Dong's BIL. THAT would be hilarious - talk about come-uppance. And I think Ding will pursue DH again and will finally tell her brother to piss off: DH is her man. We'll see in tomorrow's episode.
The letter got me, too. When the greeting was Ms. Ok, my heart broke but those tears were just some of the many…
I do too, but I look at it this way: For her, the greatest source of pain in her life is now being healed. No matter what happens with KS and the missing wife, she has her Mom and Dad to lean on now. SJ, the Chairman, her brother.....are all irrelevant now.
You writers! If you're capable of giving us such a beautiful scene at the end, and writing such a compelling episode, why did we get fluff for 50 episodes? I'll say it again, this should have been a 40 episode series, maybe a summer special or something. It would have been golden.
Anyhow, this was the ep I've been waiting for all along. I was perfectly written, with the scene at the Chairman's house showing the needed restraint to build up the ending. And to see the acting range of Yoon DaYoung here was really impressive....no more vacant-stare, no 'oppa', just a vulnerable girl who doesn't want to be hurt again by her Dad. (I wish they subtitled her saying 'Daddy' but maybe there's no equivalent in Korean). But this episode (and for me, this series) will be defined by the ending scene in the chapel. Beautifully staged, lit and shot. And KS in the background watching his future wife and father in law reconciling. I defy anyone who's sat thru this thing to not be emotional at that scene. Their dialog was exactly what I wanted to hear, BRAVO to both actors for delivering their lines so well.
Everything else from here on out, is just icing on the cake for me. Now please, let them rebuild their relationship as it should be, with encouragement from CR. This girl still needs a Father in her life, and you don't get much more of a strong male example than DH. He brings stability and safety to the women around him (as stated by YJ & JD at the dinner table, and by Aunty Ding before), let him provide the same for his beloved daughter.
I won't hold my breath, but what would be perfect, would be to see him proudly walk her down the aisle when she weds KS. PLEASE LET US HAVE THAT!!!!
I was sitting here saying drop the dang bag and hold her! ☺️
Me too. I think they did that deliberately - I'm guessing that will be tomorrow's opening scene and he'll drop the bag and he'll embrace her and hold her tight.
So we have to deal with brother not liking KS now? So he’s probably the one that advises her to stay away from…
That was KBS America, which has it's own agenda it seems. They also edit their shows to fit in commercial time-slots. It would drive me nuts with their80 min historical dramas, where huge chunks of plot would go missing, and they continue to do it to the family dramas now.
Also i hope TK goes for drinks with his pediatrician buddy. Since he already proven to be a better friend to TK…
HW is an interesting study. I had to laugh when InOk said everyone was banned from dealing w. TK. Like, HW is his PARTNER, you dummy....how's THAT going to work out.
HW is always looking for the easy way out for TK. He has no idea how much his BIL loves YD. And he's scared to death of InOk too.
I've been spending too much time in a hospital (visiting patient) w/nothing to do but browse the internet and…
But she HAS to be added to the family register by her 'mother', right? And they both have to consent to it.....If not, she's still an outsider. This was part of the plot in Its Beautiful Now.
It seems. Like the writer diverted from JH forbidding MR to see her father to the chairman forbidding her. Chairman…
He's just a bigoted old man that can't even see how good a person she is, when she's standing right in front of him. He's a lost cause. And let's face it: he's just itching for times like these to tee off on her. I'm glad her dad is coming to the house tomorrow - it will be interesting to see how that plays out.

Take that FWIW. Who knows what will happen?
