They are disgusting and I really hope YJ doesn’t waver.
He has sent her so many mixed signals, I don't blame her for still having hope. And that MIL is the worst. She's coveting her Beast of Burden. Are we ever going to see a sweet, kind MIL in any Kdrama?

Sir, In June of 2023 you retained our firm in exploring options for terminating your marriage to Ms. Gong Ji Myeong, who was pregnant with your first child. Shortly thereafter, you informed us that you were attempting a reconciliation with Ms. Gong for the sake of the child and to hold off on further proceedings.
Upon further investigation, it is our finding that Ms. Gong misled you in claiming she wanted to continue her marriage as she "needed you to ensure her daughter was raised as a sweet and loving person." Rather, it is our contention that she is using your marriage to ensure that the child has extended parental care while she continues her obsession to spend excessive time at her job and neglect her duties as a mother, as expected by both law and societal norms. As you have stated, her extreme competitiveness with her older brother in whom will succeed as Chairman of the NX Group, Inc. is the force that continues to drive her, rather than Maternal Instinct.
It is our suggestion, therefore, that you resume your quest for legal separation and continue your parental duties as a father, while demanding the same of your wife as a mother. In the meantime, we have the contact information for the new location of the Han Pharmacy as you requested.
Seriously wondering how much of this shift in the story is actually due directly to the writer. Might it be pressure…
If there really was pushback from the domestic audience re: sperm donor story and they demanded that the baby be TK's not JH's, then yes I can see the producers and Network pressuring the writer/director to make changes.
I'm beginning to believe the following:From the start, the writers had a 50 episode drama outlined - they knew…
Kathryn, I believe you are on to something. I have been thinking how weird Ep 34 was. It gave me a completely different vibe. I still gives me the feeling that there was a change in the writing team, in how they basically kicked out anything secondary and returned to the basics of the show. Hee's presence is weird, to me. I keep thinking that her contract was for xx episodes, but if BT is right, and they canceled the sperm donor storyline due to domestic audience pushback, they figured that to get their money out of her, they needed to use her as YD's buddy for a few eps. Although if YD moves back in with TK, her purpose is finished (again). And the scene with the oldest siblings was odd too. It was really overplayed, with suddenly "we'll be a happy couple, yahoo!" And NO mention of the youngest couple at all! Do they not know what to do with them?
Lazy/incompetent writing? Yup, I felt it was clumsy, at best. The hallmark of this show for me was how clever and subtle the stories were being handled and that went right out the window with 34.
The next family drama after this one: https://www.hancinema.net/kbs-tumbling-family-to-air-in-september-170486.htmlhttps://kisskh.at/755601-tumbling-family
I'll give anything a try that Nam Sang-Ji is in, after her wonderful performance in Bravo My Life. Thank you for posting that, Sher.
I thought it would be interesting to compare the most recent weekend series activity here on MDL forums, as many have noted how lively a group follows this show: (number of posts in forum, series presented in order in date of airing):
Young Lady & Gentleman (many angry viewers) 52 eps: 8,851 posts It's Beautiful Now (we had an active forum): 50 episodes 2,485 posts Three Bold Siblings (mostly complaints, plot had issues): 51 eps 889 posts The Real Has Come: 34 episodes 10,908 posts
This is drama is full of impossible coincidences, meeting him in his appartment was more to enphasis the "fate"…
It's not as anywhere as complex as this story is. But it's still fun, and so far (i'm up to ep 9) its been without angst. Its only 15? episodes I think, so fingers crossed it stays that way. And the kissing scene in it is probably the 2nd best I've ever seen on video, if not the best. It's unfortunate for THRC that it aired at the same time as when TK tried to kiss YD. https://kisskh.at/726273-king-the-lander
First off, loved Aunty Ding's outfit. that blue was beautiful. RUN MI-RAE RUN!!!!! The Dongs got Dinged! DANG!!!! Good Girl, JanDi (can't believe I'm saying that) SD was hilarious, and still showing his good side. HIT HIM HARDER, KANG SAN!!!!!

I'll give her some credit. She was believable in that scene with her expressions. And she did the beach scene/car ride home part well, although our guy didn't press her on the red flags at the end: no i love you back, her lack of enthusiasm kissing, and most importantly, she said 'goodbye, tk' instead of 'goodnight'. But she has had problems lately convincing me the chemistry they had before is still as strong. I have to temper this though because I'm watching King the Land, and nothing compares to what Yoona & JunHo have going on. YEEESH.
You wrote a much better ending than the one they aired. Completely agree she needs to suffer even tho I think…
They have enough material and storylines to give us a great 50 episode series. But a lot of that has been tossed out the window by the time skips and we really don't know what is going on now, outside of our leads. It almost feels like a new writing team has taken over and they're like..."ehhhhh, dump that old stuff, let's move on to Strawberry".
I truly believe that the show is going to turn in that direction, like IBN did with the 'adoption drama' followed by the 'cancer drama' that ruined the direction of that show.
And don't get me wrong. I don't want YD to suffer, per se. I don't want to punish her (much) but she needs to realize that running away is not the answer because of the fallout it creates. I'll followup on that in a day or two once I get my head straight about this series. There's a question about her and about TK that I can't figure out yet, or how to describe.

they went to JH's hotel room to rip him a new one and YD saw this and had TK come and meet them outside the door and make them think it was his room and they had the wrong person. After they left, he fainted in the hallway (was coming down with the flu) and YD nursed him thru the night. A key moment, IMO as that was when he started to become attracted to her.
