Yes, I didn’t really get that conversation because it’s like they picked up an old conversation where they…
I just rewatched it, and yeah, that sarcastic smirk was 100% out of character. Like Lunkera said, 'dumb writers'. It's like they cut something out from the show we haven't seen.
What was really strange is that is was totally out of character for KS to say that. Being like "yeah, whatever" isn't anything I'd ever hear him say, least of all if it concerned protecting JD. JUST WEIRD.
I'm sitting here scratching my head after watching 77 on K o c o w a . So that woman has a 'will'. Uh, BFD. I've made a will, and my sister has a copy. But I'm still alive (I think) - although watching this show makes me think I'm in Purgatory sometimes. So, I'm not sure what is so important. Obviuosly, it needs to be vetted before we all run around like headless chickens. Now, if she had a copy of SJ death certificate, that would be another matter, but KS would have found that already? Unless she died in a foreign country, but again we KNOW she's alive from the KBS profiles.
So, are we actually having some movement? Or are we back on that treadmill again? Any why is JD again falling and hurting herself in running after something? First with rest-home-mom and now this? How many times will this writing team keep going back to the same tired old tropes?
Tbh, it would be better if she was dead. But this is k-drama so we know she is most likely alive. But it is obvious…
I think the real question here, is WHY doesn't she want to come back? It's been 10 years, and evidently she isn't a prima ballerina anywhere, and not even on Youtube, which I'm sure the family has been checking on. So her initial premise for leaving is done. So Sher, you have to be right: She's moved on and found someone else and possibly has a family already. There's no other reason, other than maybe being too embarrased to come back because she made a bad decision in leaving in the first place. Which I guess could be. We know she's not dead, from the character profiles.
I was assuming that it was for some sort of importation deal? There is a large Korean community here in LA, with…
So her bio never says if she throws caution to the wind and unites with her dad. JH does have a point. You can just imagine Granpa's reaction to learning her father is an ex-con. We'll just have to wait and see, I guess.
That scene at the beginning was so so so satisfying. Not only regarding TK throwing the whole tHe bAbY iS mINe…
So I was thinking about this while doing the laundry today. I think they need to resolve this quickly and should be done by mid-Ep 35 at the latest (gives them one more weekend cliffhanger). This is because with about 15 episodes left, they still have to resolve the following issues: -YD/DW/SK relationship and it's complications -Uncle/Hee/SJ/CM sperm-sweepstakes -Uncle's "child" who will come to him -BongNim/Jung Ho relationship -Birth of Real & Olive -The Strawberry Hunt (ft YD & TK & Granny)

Sher & Loelha, I'm wondering what do they do with the character after MR dumps him, and reconciles with her dad, over his objections? Do they just write him out and send him back to US?
Well, FINALLY a little movement on the excite-o-meter! DH is getting closer to accepting that MR could be his daughter. (and yeah, they use the old 'allergy' trope but I don't care). I just want to give a shout out to actor Kim Young Ho, who plays DH. He was great in Empress Ki and stands out to me, in this series. He was so good in that whole scene in the bakery with MR.
Otherwise, same ol' dreck. How did they manage to even make YeJu objectionable??? She was one of the last characters I liked???? I'm just waiting for MR/DH to be reunited and their story to be reconciled. I'll probably drop it after that, as that should close out Little Dong too.
I am tired of MR. Just tired. KS needs someone with more fire and wiling to be truthful and outspoken. I am disappointed…
Agreed. As a couple, they are a disaster waiting to happen. God Forbid, in the last scene is a time skip to 10 years from now and he's on the street handing out flyers for the missing MR!!!!
I can totally see that happening, and I think I would put it in if I was the writer.
I believe our chairman has a little sumpin, sumpin up his sleeve. With what he said to CR about the reason Sr…

6h left!. Also i found out Nam Sang Ji is the female lead of the KBS1 daily drama after this one. So happy to…
Please provide details when you have them! She was so great in BML, and have only seen her in bits in youtube for something about a woman in a veil, but I guess she only has bit parts. She also looks thinner :-(

I agree they will eventually be together. Thing is, the longer this goes on, the bigger the hole the writers are digging themselves to getting back to "normal". Unless, of course, the answer is that he gives his family the finger and they go to live their lives apart from his parents, which could very well happen and be the catalyst to snap InOk out of this. It may come to that.
We'll see if they resolve this by Sunday. I know how exactly how I would have written this whole mess, fingers crossed they are smarter than me.
The only thing I'm sure of is that we're due for a timejump soon. The series is now almost caught up to us, calendar-wise, so they've got to jump soon to get to Real's birth (and Olive's too). Oh, and one thing, is that JM/HW treat Olive as if it's a girl....so, not sure if that holds up or not.

Thank you, interesting insights as usual. I like everyone's different interpretations of what we see given our backgrounds, etc. I noticed this especially in IBN's forum here as it ran.
Judging from the clothing from the preview, and the fact they don't show the scenes in order (and yes, I've seen the preview too many times). I think it goes like this: IO/YD at the hotel lobby -> IO takes YD to BongNim's (and leaves her there- effectively evicting her) -> (somewhere TK arrives and joins her) -> they go back to his home and meet with Granny (to plea with her??) -> IO finds them & asks 'Have you lost your mind, how dare you come back here?' -> Gong Family witnesses IO tantrum (and we can assume now finds out what happened) -> (next day?) BN comes to the Gongs and begs IO for forgiveness and IO shuns her leaving TK and YD comforting BN -> IO gives TK the ultimatum 'her or me'.
So, I'll reserve my rejection of why this behavior is so badly written. But if they continue with his, I have a really bad feeling about that upcoming beach scene. We've now gotten too many "i won't leave you" declarations from YD, and it's making me nervous. Can she accept that TK will leave his mom because of her? No, I don't think so. She'll martyr herself (again) to save his relationship with his mom, whom YD does love too. So this needs to be resolved quickly before things fester and YD thinks too much. I just don't see how they transform Momzilla into Sweet InOk again with minimum corniness.
That would be a perfect cliffhanger ending on a friday episode!!!
