“How are you?” Coming out Feb 6. Hopefully it’s good.
I think you mean 'How Dare You?'.

Yes, the ML character is an array of virtues while the FL is obnoxious. As I said, misogyny by the book. The FL actress has also been given awful makeup that makes her look like a wax figure, while the ML actor looks young and fresh. Nasty producers.

That's because Youku is posting the steamy clips on social networks in order to attract viewers. I'm on ep 16 and he hasn't raped her, if this is what you are asking. As for why he loses control, you need to start watching the series to learn that.

Of course, oh omniscient being, you're the only one whose perception of her actions and motivations are correct and of course the only multitalented being who understands and interprets the subtitles correctly. Grow up!

On ep 4 and about to drop this series. I can't stand the incredibly misogynistic portrayal of the FL as a rude, arrogant, entitled, self-centred, abusive woman who behaves unpleasantly and even violently toward the ML who only shows her kindness in return, all of it with the excuse that she has an abusive mother. Even when she starts liking him she still makes a point of being discourteous to him for no reason whatsoever. Woman-hating depiction of a female character by the book.

I see this drama as a very effective cocktail of irony, magic realism and steaminess. I love the Tarantino-like dead pan humour. On ep 16 and waiting for the rest, if it carries on like this I predict it will become a cult classic. Does anybody have the release calendar? Is it 2 eps per day? Thanks.

Oh, for goodness sake, do you really need to moan about the treatment of men in a case where the opposite is blatant? Who's being degraded in this series? ! Here we have a clearly misogynistic portrayal of the female character as an out of control, no boundaries, no filter, obnoxious woman that needs to learn self restraint before she can be released into society. Her counterpart ML is a clearly androphile character, dignified, moral, righteous, responsible, calm, collected and very handsome. But somehow you still find that it is the ML that is being treated unfairly? Please, give your head a wobble! I will be watching the next couple of eps before I decide whether to drop it or not, as this type of story tends to develop into a redeeming change of personality for the main character concerned with negative behaviour.

Just finished ep 1 and I find the FL character infuriatingly absurd and entitled. Why does this woman grab a complete stranger by his cheeks, squeezing hard and then spills a whole glass of wine on him in the middle of a party? Answer: Because she's trying to pass unnoticed by her manager who casually just walked in. Effect: Everybody in the room is now staring at her. Then they get drunk and have sex. Next time she sees him she walks straight to him and violently grabs him by the lapels of his suit and starts screaming at him. At this point returning violence would have been justified as self defence on the part of the man. Why do k-dramas insist on trying to portray this type of unhinged people as cute?

At the end anyone think RSB would married that butler Cheng if LJL didn’t show up ? That close up of the hand…
LOL Of course not. Giving the lady a hand to help her climb the stairs, that's exactly a butler's job. She never gave the butler a second glance.

I can think of one I would have dropped hadn't it been because Ming Hao was in it and his performance was masterful as usual, the problem being a poor script. I watched every single minute of it without skipping like a trooper and don't regret it, since his most impressive acting happened in the final episodes.

so you must hate this ML.. Right? Right?!? bcs he opposite of her. Always delu, not caring about his career, everything…
But you fail to see that's only your personal perception of it that you are projecting on others, hence your non sequitur assumption 'if you like this yo must hate that'. Also you are establishing a false premise in portraying those two characters as opposites but, even if they were, liking something does not automatically entail hating the opposite. Liking black does not mean hating white, All that unnecessary polarisation does is limiting your own choices and making both characters poorer.

You forget that 'small' detail of the reason why she slaps him in the first place. It's because he's grabbed her arm forcefully and won't let her go.

She didn't select YBL, her grandmother imposed the marriage on her and she just pretended to go along with it because she was about to expose him as an impostor.

She's slapped him twice in the whole of 30 eps. She's always made a point of soft slapping him without hurting him, he didn't even blink when she did and on the latest occasion he even offered his cheek with a naughty smile. She couldn't resist his charm and lowered her hand without slapping him. Then he kissed her. It was very sweet.

You have certain points i can agree with, but it all comes down to do you care about her character developing…
She told him about the fake book, they planned it together. She gave the fake book to him and he gave it to the old Wei lady.
LJL: Who he was after he recovered his memory kept from her. His real reason to infiltrate the Rong mansion kept from her. Using her to trap Madame Yang and Yu Wan, kept from her. Both of them have been playing games with each other, they just have different personalities. He's extrovert, she's reserved. To me that's a main appeal of the series.

RSB is going to the capital for LJL, all of this is part of her plan. Even Steward said "since she choose…
LJL must have contacted RSB by other means. He already knew steward Cheng would do his best to block any contact between him and RSB; Cheng had already tried to throw away the wild tea leaves LJL picked for RSB, didn't tell her he was waiting outside and got the grandmother to stop her running after him. Why would Jun Dai give an important letter to just any servant at the Rong house, knowing it would fall in Cheng's hands? I don't buy it.
