As much as we complain we know if the shows were to drop all these tropes we'd eventually really miss them! They're part of the fabric of what makes a Kdrama, a Kdrama.
Season 3 please come fast! They better not change MIN WOO! He deserves an award for this role! He made psycho…
I have to agree, this character was so complex, strong, yet fragile at the core, an emotional trainwreck with 3 personalities and Min Woo pulled it off so well!
I really liked this part, they showed more of the team work this time around. I liked the focus on Do Ji Han (Oh Man Suk's character) and the introduction of a strange enemy/ally with Doctor K. There was less focus on Eun Sol, but it didn't bug me too much. The only weakest link was the introduction of that Stella copy Sally Kim. She was irritating. But I can't wait for part 3, I wasn't expecting that cliff-hanger!
Excellent drama, mature and exciting. I would love a part 2 but I think they ended it well and was fulfilling. A season 2 might just be more of the same - illicit photos, corrupt politicians/prosecutors/doctors/etc. etc. and a big bad out to get them. I liked the teamwork, at the end they had me fooled with the former boss who was hospitalized.
This was a role tailor made for Han Ye Seul. She's like a queen when she gives you that 'look.'
Joo Jin Moo looked amazing beard and no beard. He's so handsome and such a great actor. So many are commenting on how "old" he looks. Well he's not 25, people. He's about 45. Trust me, you can look far worse at that age if you don't take care of yourself. He looks super fine!
Well reading the comments cinched it for me. I was ready to tune out immediately during the 1st ep. The Female lead is cute but entirely unbearable. And now I see the ending is a let-down. Marcus Chang deserves better.
If anyone's still looking in 2019 I'm watching it on Amazon Prime. I liked it, I'm a big fan of Kim Hye Soo and Ma Dong Seok. They need to be in a drama together. She played the ditzy actress so well. The teen actress is always good too. I was so disappointed however that they weren't love interests. I thought for sure his character stuck around her so loyally because he was in love with her. I thought he was just living with his sister and her kids. But that wasn't the case, he was married with kids. And KHS really liked the newscaster. But anyway, this drama's also about her making her own family, and taking responsibility. Though I found the the final scenes at the art contest a little hammy and angsty, but that happens often with Korean films.
As much as I love the robots, Zettai Kareshi's one of my favorite dramas, there's a certain ethical conundrum they throw you into because you're dealing with a human being in love with a machine made up of the same parts as your toaster, TV and computer.
I agree with actress Seo Shin Ae. She's kind of typecast these days and yet to be cast as the female lead, though she's still young. But I think she has better acting skills than a lot of her contemporaries and "Unnies" snatching up all the lead roles and giving the same bland performances time and again. But Shin Ae has so much to offer. She has unique, pretty looks too, and would be a breath of fresh air. I hope as she gets older they don't make her carve into her face.
WOW. The only other drama that disturbed me like this was Voice. This was true, bleak horror in every sense and I covered my eyes many times. It was cerebral and strange and i couldn't stop watching.
