I'm certainly not hating on them - I can't watch their streams because they are in Chinese, so I only watched the sub-titled films. I love them as a pair, but even great pairs on screen don't mean they'll be a good pairing off-screen... so I was merely curious if there was more than rumor to the comments. i also though it more likely to get a closer-to-true answer here than on Youtube.

Have most of their films together been in that period (2024-now) or had they filmed together prior to then?

This is the second version of this script that I have seen recently but this one was much better... just overall much better and a bit more in-depth. I also loved the reveal of the brother/sister-in-law at the end and their dynamic, though it was brief.

I just wish there was enough information to make an MDL entry for these films...

The "gentleness" is not likely referring to ANY of the actions of the male lead - at least not in the first half of the story. He develops a degree of "gentleness" - of his own variety or at least compared to his dark nature - towards the FL in the latter half... and ONLY towards her. I'm guess the title refers to the FL's manipulation of the ML through subtle emotional prodding and the use of her "blindness" - and then through her suggestions and support of his growth later.
