re-reading your article today while I'm watching "Time". I am totally gripped by Jung Hyun's acting! I can't stop watching although he breaks my heart. He really did put his all in this, what an amazing actor. I feel I owe a debt to him. I hope he recovers and does whatever makes him happy. If anyone hears of updates on how he is doing I hope they'll share them here or on his profile page or on page of "Time". Thanks for this great article.
Kim Jung Hyun's acting is just amazing. I don't think I've seen this level of acting in a kdrama before. Did anyone else notice that in scenes showing Seol Ji Hyun and Cheon Soo Ho together that they are usually not side by side? Instead the scene would show the face of one and the back of the other?
It's almost as if they were filmed separately or with a stand in. Or maybe it was to show separateness?
My expectations on this drama was SO HIGH for obvious reasons. I'm on episode 4 and unfortunately, I'm not really…
The acting is ok. I didn't like the storyline where Han Tae Joo prosecuted a family member. Couldn't he have recused himself? So I guess I blame the writer.
Does anyone know where to find subs for this? Supposedly it's on Amazon but they have only a handful of episodes and there's been no progress for at least 4-5 months.
the only time I think a love triangle has made sense is in something like a melo. Maybe it isn't a true love triangle, there's the 3rd party who is pursuing the lead or is in arranged engagement for example, but not the real love interest. Hope that made sense. Other than that I dislike love triangles almost all the time.
fun article not upset I know it's not scientific. And.... I don't like any of these dramas LOL! (I'm a bad person lol). Still this was entertaining to read.
I do not like the Princess much but I suspect that she'll undergo a lot of character development in the second season. Or tragedy. Trying to promote that idiot brother of hers to be emperor one day? What a bad idea. Not sure the actress would have made it better, the part is written that way I think.
One interesting theme in this drama - good guys vs bad guys. People who claim to be doing things for righteous reasons, are they? It's subtle, not stated out loud, just in actions.
I know it's supposed to be really good but I still have held back. I may watch it after reading your review. And thanks for mentioning the music. It really is beautiful!

And I'll never forget Mu Yul's fighting scene.

Good actor by the way, he really nailed this part.
But they are two different people.
