I'm glad I already watched the drama before seeing this or it would have ruined it for me. I started watching the drama not knowing most of what this article tells the viewer. I guess all visitors to MDL should avoid reading articles about dramas unless they've already watched them. Some of us read the articles to decide IF we want to watch the drama. But why watch it if someone has already told you most of the story before you see it?
This drama Is starting to drag. Thank Gosh episode 35, we get some scenes of the main leads together. I am still…
Yun Lang seems the least selfish of the male characters. I love the actor who plays him - Kris Sun - if you haven't seen Ever Night watch it, he has a major role - plays a major almost deity who is quite arrogant and seemingly "perfect". A lot different than his character in this drama. And boy does he look amazing in that drama.
Coughing blood. Dubbing. Sometimes it is just awful. Arranged marriage to cousins. Ick. lol. Gets wet then becomes very sick has to be carried. But I love Chinese historical and Wuxia anyway, they are my favorite dramas.
She could not be affectionate towards him because his personality was hard to love. We get to see first hand what…
It's a credit to the main actor, isn't it? What a brilliant job he did. I don't think I've seen acting as great as this, so authentic, which is why we still feel something about this drama after.
I found this series to be dark, bleak, and intense. It was hard for me to want to turn it one each week, because…
I was disappointed in Seo Ji Hyun's "character development". She didn't continue to be a good person, she didn't "hold her shape". She went from a sincere and sort of innocent decent person to a caricature. I think maybe the writing failed on this part. The writing for her character was not as well done as for other characters. It didn't "fit" with the movement of the drama. It didn't make sense. And I grew to hate her character. This is just my honest opinion, don't expect others to feel the same way. I don't blame the actress - didn't the writers morph her into this twisted idiot?
I haven't finished the drama yet, like you say it's hard to do it without stopping for an emotional break. Last 2 eps I watched I cried almost the whole time. I'm at the eps where his former fiance finds out about his terminal illness. Her character actually shows decent development at this time. She actually DOES care about him as a human. This drama breaks my heart and also the story of the main actor does too, I keep watching and hoping for word of Kim Jung Hyun. Whatever he chooses to do next, I hope he can be happy.

This is basically a blow by blow recap. If you haven't watched the drama then don't read this!!!
That's shallow of me but there you go. ;)
You could easily discourage people like me who've only seen 5 episodes.
