Perhaps many of them have dark secrets. Also I learned to never read biographies of actors before or during their dramas.

If it's a Chinese drama that doesn't start off saying there's a season 2 coming, there won't be a season 2. These dramas take forever to air after censors etc and the actors are already taking other jobs.
If it's a Korean drama that didn't already have a season 2 planned, and you get a season 2, it sucks.

I checked out the Ever Night show at hotpot and at the end they put on there that it is hotpot subs. In ep 1 around 40:53

Pretty sure that Roku won't host a channel to a site that is not licensing the content.

I don't care either but they aren't licensing these dramas, they're grabbing them from other sites and putting them on theirs. So this is basically another dramanice or something.
It is not a new DF or Viki, it's just another one of those sites.
I can just go to youtube and skip HotPot

I don't think HotPot is doing the subs. I think they are linking to or embedding videos from youtube that may or may not get completely subbed.

some people ask about the ending. But I see this drama as being 3 parts.
The first 1/3 of the drama is really fun and interesting. The middle starts to go in different directions and then the last 1/3 seems like the writers either got drunk or lazy.
