I can tell from your post that this one went over your head.
his brother was dead. He didn't get a chance to see him alive. The deceased king, his brother - didn't even have feelings for the Empress, but instead favored a fluffier concubine. He expressed strong reservations about the whole thing but other people wanted him to take on the role of King for stability of the nation. If you watch the drama, he stays reserved from the Empress for a long time, but ultimately falls in love with her.
I was really enjoying this drama until I read spoilers in the comments section. Just can't watch a drama where someone has typed out plot and ending details. UGH. Some cowardly jerk even created a sock puppet acct today just to attack me for saying this very thing.
So Seul Gi was also made for organs but she wasn't raised in the orphanage? So why did they kill her grandfather/father?…
do you know how to use the SPOILER feature in MDL? It's available for every time you post a comment like yours that gives away parts of the plot. It's a considerate way to not ruin the drama for other people.
I almost missed this! Great article. Did know know that Godzilla was an allegory. Wow! I probably saw the first one, I'm that old. It would be a rerun and I was a child watching a black and white Admiral cabinet tv.
Darn I glanced through the reviews and why why didn't they lead with SPOILER ALERT? Ugh I hate that. I do NOT want to know about the ending till I get to the ending thank you.
This should have a comedy tag. I'm up to ep 30 out of 39 . This is NOT a serious drama, it isn't your typical historical drama. Mu Guiying is good at strategy but her character is stubborn to the point of stupidity at times. The leads are supposed to be like 18 years old. And somehow Luo Jin reminds me of Pee Wee Herman in this drama. There, I said it. Sorry.

It had only up to ep 15. I've watched up to 17.
It's too late to help me but it might help many people who haven't seen the drama yet.
