I liked it a lot. I fast forwarded through most of Sanrak's parts (the older sister who seems to have no common sense and is super passive). If you do that it's pretty good!

3 seasons! Whooo hoo. But NEtflix, we do NOT like to wait. Get em all together next time.

why must Netflix be so stingy and not put up the whole thing, making a 12 ep drama into 2 seasons 6 each? get with the program Netflix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there anywhere that has all eps of Princess Jieyou subbed? So far the most I can find are up to ep 20. I've been waiting about 2 years for subs. :(

I saw this a few years ago. Pretty harsh stuff. And you are right, the two men together when it was supposed to be romantic - didn't have that feeling to it.

I found her page but as of 6/13/2019 no activity she notes that her laptop has crashed.

The production is good, pretty costumes & setting, attractive actors. Writing is boring, character development is lacking, male lead is most boring person in entire drama. Can he even move his face? Then there's a lazy plot twist that just got on my last nerve and I gave up.
I so wanted to like this drama. I'm not saying don't watch it but don't set your expectations high and you might enjoy it.

I think I could stand male lead's over-acting.
For the female lead, is it the writing or her acting or both? I don't find her to be cute but instead childish and kind of stupid. Or lacking common sense.
I like strong or at least intelligent female characters.

I'm up to ep 47 and found it enjoyable. There's ups and downs but there's balance and always a feeling that good will overcome evil. There is tension but that is part of most dramas.

The writer seems to like stupid or childish females.
The drama would be better if the lukewarm "romance" was eliminated from the story.
Also remove that ridiculous sister who wanted to protect the prince but is totally incompetent .

I'm partway through, it's entertaining, twists and turns.
Sum it up - Crazy Rich People.

I had to fast forward a lot of Zhao min's part. I don't blame the actress necessarily but the character was so spoiled/evil that she set my teeth on edge. That smirking when she did awful things. Ugh
