I think the best scenes in this show for me were anytime mirae held kyeongnam's face in her hands and him in turn leaning into it...so tender and so rarely seen being done by a kdrama FL...love how reciprocal and loving their relationship was too...really enjoying this new year of romance dramas where the FLs don't feel like the same old cardboard cutouts who exist simply to receive from the ML giving next to nothing in return...hoping this streak continues for the rest of the year and beyond...!🙏🤞

Looks like it wasn't his memories that made him leave to the US all of a sudden haha...but the pace seems to be picking up regardless no?
I mean we had their first kiss happen and chan's past seems to be coming right back st him one by one. The bracelet lady is stressing me out haha...with all the flashbacks now and the hazradous label yellow bottle is making me think whether chan was firced into some weird experiment that we discussed earlier that haran's bf and the bracelet lady may have been upto? And maybe it caused an accident that chan blames himself for? Coz he seems to remember the bf is dead and he sounded guilty when he was talking to Genius about him and that explains why he was holding back from haran the whole time.
Also also that means that the bf was apparently in the lab and died in the explosion or at least chan believes that. But then why would he still be using the bf's laptop? Also the bracelet lady calling a hospital could signal visiting the bf who is not dead after alll??? I would hate for haran to hear the whole truth from the bf instead of seonu chan 😭😭 it would jsut become a whole melodramatic mess...
Also was the pen the same one haran lost? If so, who sent the pen? Doesn't that mean chan and haran ran into someone at the hotel when she lost the pen without them realizing it? Maybe someone had been keeping track of chan the whole time? That box seemed pretty ominous, not like a gift...

I'm pretty frustrated with chan too atp. He really needs to tell her the truth at least what he knows. It feels selfish to hold back so much from someone who trust you so much :(( i mean i dont even understand his reasons anymore haha...isn't the easiest way to relieve oneself of guilt to ask for a sincere apology. I feel like he is scared more than anything but that still doesn't excuse him withholding all these major secrets...
Desperately need to see him play a more "cold" male lead, preferably in a "she falls first" slow burn setting. Would be so damn refreshing to see him play something other than the same old golden retriever energy coded boyfriends he does in every romance drama. Considering the break since Good Boy and no new dramas being announced yet, hopefully he might also be really considering choosing a totally different kind of image to portray?
Jinyoung should consider dropping melodramas for a while and shift to romcoms. He's been stuck doing similar roles with every new drama and while it's great that he's found his comfort spot and proven that he can act, it's becoming repetitive and pretty stale now ngl. I would personally love to see him in something like Our Universe or Boyfriend on Demand or Business Proposal with an age appropriate casting !

Oof that confession from kyeongnam in ep 8 was chef's kiss. Seo in guk has done it again! Only two sentences but his delivery gave me all the feels and even slightly broke my heart coz how do you pull off such vulnerability?? Big points to the writer for the dialogues too. Couldn't be more beautifully worded. This one's going straight to my list of top 10 love confessions of all time.
