I relate!!! I've been stuck in episodes 10 for ages now and I don't think I'll ever continue
Am stuck on episode 7 and can't handle this shit anymore, only reason I watched this far is my love for Yeo Jin Goo and Moon Ga Young XD

Wow, when I realized there was a drama staring Yeo Jin Goo and Moon Ga Young, I went crazy cause I love both a lot! And even though am not really into romance, but I totally approve of the thought of them being a couple.
The thing is I watched 6 episodes of this drama and well...I'm already dying of boredom! Even Jin Goo and Ga Young couldn't be enough for me to not feel like falling sleep all the time. The plot seemed interesting at first but then nothing really happens after a while...just the two leads talking, eating, crying, and that's it. Other characters (Like the police force in the town, the FL mother and grandmother) are either annoying as hell or forgettable. I know it might be a bit early to judge but I find this drama kinda a failure. They are clearly relying on Yeo Jin Goo and Moon Ga Young's fame instead of having a real plot as a main focus. The two lead characters are super bland. FL is a childish crybaby, ML feels empty or dead inside most of the time (Not the leads acting is the issue here to be clear, the reason I love them both is cause they are great actors. The characters themselves are badly written that's the problem). I mean this is still my personal opinion and many might disagree which is fine and all, but I highly doubt I will change my mind any time soon.

Edit: Finally after painful long 17 days I watched the rest of episodes, well yeah the drama kept getting worse and worse for me, I just finished it cause I really hate dropping stuff I watched half episodes of and I was hoping the last episodes will be worth it, but nah, total waste of time honestly. This plot would've worked better with 6 or 8 episodes only. 16 episodes made it overly draggy, one of the worst Kdramas to be aired lately.

Big Mouth is super worth it, I'm highly enjoying it so far so I hope you watch it too. If it keeps going great till the end then it will be worthy of being called best and most memorable Kdrama of 2022 (Along with Alchemy of Souls maybe if it also keep going great). That's my personal opinion.
About the Love Between Fairy and Devil, I did think about watching it but decided to pass since I had more than enough of Chinese historical romance dramas. Watched a ton of them already and they all basically got same plot style so now I don't enjoy them anymore.

How is Alchemy of Souls, is the story really good ? I've heard good things overall, but is it heavy on romance…
No, the romance isn't the main focus, the whole fantasy elements and action are the focus, but there is still very nice romance going on too. The plot is very interesting, acting is great, costumes, special effects, and sets are beautiful. There is nice humor, bromance, and chill moments as well. Overall it's a really great drama and plot keeps getting better and better the more you watch. I highly recommend it personally. Don't worry it's not the typical cringe type of Kdrama, and main characters are super likeable.

Everyone watches movies or shows from another angle (particularly dumbed-downed Westerners). Some of the cases…
Well, first of all am not a Western lol I can't even stand Western shows to begin with that's why I switched to Asian. Also when I said the cases were different than the typical murder ones in other law dramas, I meant it in a good way as in unique. I do appreciate them trying to tell lessons through the cases like how there shouldn't be discriminations against women, North Koreans, or harsh treatment and parenting of children...etc I'm not a retard I could understand the messages behind all these cases. Yet that doesn't mean I should enjoy them just cause I understood them. Same like what happen is schools, you might actually get taught something important, and you learn it anyway and get high grades, but does that mean that you have to force yourself to enjoy these lessons? Or be obsessed with the subject itself? No obviously!
Also people still watch dramas for many reasons, like I said I found half of the cases stupid or boring, yet I kept watching cause I liked the characters and wanted to see what will happen to all of them. You can watch something for the romance, plot, acting, action, characters, characters chemistry, the sets...blah blah any reason. Just cause you didn't enjoy some parts of it, doesn't mean that have to drop it.
If you think this drama is flawless good for you, but don't force your opinion on others. I'm not bothering to force mine on you or anyone else, just told my honest criticism. I do think the cast deserve support and all, but the writing needs to be improved, that's my peroneal point of view.
Lots of people prefer more exaggerated plots cause they are more fun by the way. That's why fantasy, action, and fantasy historical dramas are popular, why? Cause they are UNREALSITC. If I want to see overly realistic stuff then I would go watch actual court videos, history documentaries, or police footages of them chasing criminals. Even romance and comedy dramas can be awfully unrealistic, yet people watch them, cause they need a change from real life bullshit. Just cause actual law stuff include lots of paper work or whatever that doesn't mean they gotta show it in shows, cause guess what? Most people wouldn't enjoy seeing that. If people want that then they would just become a lawyer themselves to have a real life experience of that pure joy lmao

I am pretty sure because of season 2, the last few episodes suffer. Still, i actually like the kids army the most.…

Yeah I decided to just focus on Big Mouth and Alchemy of Souls at this point, both are amazing. I finished Extraordinary Attorney Woo and well it was good, not great but good. Also did you watch Adamas? I wonder if that one is worth it. watched one episode and it was hella boring too lol

Oh, they confirmed a second season?
Though that still won't fix the issue of having many super boring cases and the cases are the main focus in the drama.

Honestly this whole drama seemed like it had no actual plot to me, it was so random, like nothing of importance…
I watched 10 episodes so far and godman, they were super boring and I also find main couple irritating. Especially that childish rude ass ML. Barely have a reason to complete it at this point.

This and Alchemy of Souls are the only dramas that keep getting more and more interesting. Unlike Extraordinary Attorney Woo which went downhill for me later, I still didn't hate it though. Wonder if Adamas is worth it though. I still didn't watch that one.

They do actually romanticize anything that has two hot men together. Amazing example is Tharntype. That Thai BL was so overhyped, I thought it would be a masterpiece and instead was graced with the most cringe and toxic shit you can ever imagine. Yeah the leads had great chemistry, but their personalities along with other characters were all on the creepy side. Why R U? Is another example for trash BL, yet for the sake of saint and other actors along with sex scenes people hyped it lol
Waterboyy was also liked a lot by many and it had an abusive top and overly nice and forgiving bottom. Like really?! Is that really cute, they romanticize rape, assaults, and other awful stuff but cause leads are hot everyone just squeals.
Even now people still force themselves to watch and support check out due to the hot leads and I hate that drama with passion.
Only dark BLs with problematic lead characters I truly liked are Kinnporsche and My Beautiful Man. Both had flawed and kinda toxic couples, but the difference is that the admit their flaws and issues. Kinnprosche is made to be dark and violent, it's about mafia after all, and how the leads try to overcome this scary environment and influence from others around them to be together. while My Beautiful Man was about two mentally unstable leads who somehow complete each other (And it still didn't include rape, assault scenes, just some rudeness in the start from one of leads). Even dark and violent love stories can be well written and liked, yet they nowadays waste money and budgets on trash stuff with stupid childish plots and character development Like Senpai Danjite Koide Wa. Constantly insulting LGBTQ+ community and making BL fans have worse and worse reputation.

I kinda suffered to rate this drama, since I actually liked most of the characters and there were many funny and cute moments, but...some cases were so utterly stupid or boring that I just found myself zoning out and getting sleepy while watching (Especially the kids army, construction road, ATM, Temple Payments, and hacking cases. These ones were super boring for me. Also the case with the North Korean woman, that woman pissed me off, I couldn't like her personality so I also couldn't bring myself to enjoy that case). I mean in a way the cases were different since most law dramas focus on super dark and heavy cases involving murders and whatever, while the cases here were more socially and morally focused I guess.
Also I think they kinda rushed the romance between Woo and Junho, it felt incomplete and bland honestly. The drama started greatly, then started going downhill from there to me. Yet I still liked the drama and the characters were so likeable (Except that Attorney Kwon, I don't care that he had a change of heart later, I still find him super annoying and I don't want him with sweet Choi nor Woo's best friend), so I don't want to give it a low rating.

I'm so glad to know I wasn't the only one! Most people keep talking about how cute the drama and the couple are, but we are among the few who didn't view it that way at all. I also happened to download movies or many episodes of a drama and end up forcing myself to watch them cause I already downloaded them and wasted data lmao.
Sometimes relying on high ratings or others comments can be a total trap cause you see most people hyping a show then you watch it and guess what? It's trash! That's why I always check the lowest rating reviews before watching any show now to prepare myself to anything that might be a great reason for me to drop it. There aren't much BL dramas out there compared to straight romance or non romance focused shows, so I always check a couple of episodes of every BL show I come across then judge based on them. I was wondering if I should bother finish this drama or not since at times some shows start very bad yet get better in later episodes, but your comment made me know I was 100% right in my judgment and finally make the decision of dropping it to use my precious time on something more worthy.

Just like I said before, I really wish the fans of this crap wouldn't support it to make these greedy asshole regret wasting time and money on it and give us something that's actually decent in future. I don't care how hot some couples are, if the plot is ass, the acting is ass, chemistry is ass, and overall production is ass, I ain't supporting it!

Wow. You mad mad
Yeah, you're right sadly. I did enjoy episode 0, the beginning of it was meh but at the end I was actually very interested and back then we didn't know that much about the couple and their toxicity, so I was excited to see how everything will fold out in the series. It was simple and cute. Also they didn't go with the usual annoying college doctor engineer set up which I also appreciated.
I really wish BL fans would boycott anything unworthy to force these companies to work harder.
