Oh, I watched this movie like 9 times or more, that's how much I love it! It was the reason I got into Korean dramas/movie and it will always stay in my top 10 Korean/Asian movies of all time.

Same! I really can't stand seeing her cry. She has the same dang personality here that she had in Hwarang. A useless crybaby constant damsel in distress and only logical reason for any guy to like her is that she is pretty and that's it...I don't hate the actress herself obviously since I don't personally know her or something of the sort nor I follow her news, but her acting make me ill. She in my list for worst actresses I ever came across.
This was trash! I get they were trying to go with something close to High & Low and Crows Zero, but it was utter shit lmao I watched many high school gangs/delinquent dramas/movies and this was the worst in the list. Also these actors look old as heck, like what high school students look like they are in their late twenties to mid thirties?! The fighting scenes which are the most important part were lackluster as well.
I found the movie distasteful & just terrible so this was just as bad. I am a huge fan of good Japanese content…
Ikr! I despised both of the movie and the drama and can't bring myself to get why some people love this garbage! I mean it's basically a cheap ass version of F4 and at least in F4 the FL had personality and fought the boys back to the end, till they made them respect and like her (Especially the Thai version of F4, that version was perfect and all the guys grew up in the end and became quite likeable), but the FL here is just a pathetic dumbass, letting the guys play with and harass her like that while she be like "There is no way them gods like me, I'm so plain after all" and letting that Kuro piece of shit both verbally/physically abuse and sexually assault her while she just stare at him fearfully. Like that made me hate her guts even after knowing how much she was bullied before and they even dare to make it seem as if him messing with her is what helped her become more confident, like really?! Is she that desperate for guys attention? Of course they turned her into the damsel in distress in second episode who can't do a thing but wait for the two guys to help her weak ass! I don't care how ugly I'm or how good looking and popular some guy is, if he treats me like shit, he also be getting shit in exchange! It's not like he will put her in jail or kill her if she slap the shit out of him whenever he try to touch or boss her around. Indeed Japanese people got some awful kinks and character tropes along with infinite cringe going on with their romance stuff. That's why to me romance Japanese plots and shows are my least favorite among all Asian countries (Even though most Asian romance dramas and even Western ones got some toxic shit in them to be fair, healthy romance plots are rare! lmao I prefer Asian shows cause they don't only care about sex and cheating like Western ones which I can't really watch thanks to that). At least if they do admit in the shows that they are being toxic then that's fine, but they try to hard to make it romantic and acceptable instead and that's what drives me nuts!
