He told SMY to go to Tianqi city with those keys and later said they look into a secret passage in his room for Blood River's Origins but SMY was playing doctor with Miss Bai and SCH went to the Hall. He only found that Sword clue accidentally even though SMY knew there's something withing it.
Our feelings regarding this are more than obvious but I can't help but thinking KSJ and Lucia for all their repetitive scenes and dialogues are a far more compelling pair than Lucia/TK or SJ/KC. If they were the grey avenging couple it would've been more pleasant....

I agree with you but not all, I also blame it on bad writing, when they want to write a bully they should be consistent, here we have a clichéd one that is overlooked and unloved at home and goes wrecking havoc everywhere.
SeRi was mentally unhinged and very dangerous in the first episodes, they overdid her cruelty and troubled personality. We thought she's going to be a menace after the time skip, but she had became a toothless tiger without any context, she also is healthy, we don't see her being angry or out of it.
It would've been better to show a reasonable path for her redemption instead of taming her off screen.
