I said it at episode 20 and say it now. Love line between Lucia and TK is ridiculous and the most unnecessary thing in this story. They should've made her a ruthless avenger who later becomes power hungry (taking some notes from Empress Ki) and takes everything from the Mins for herself and ruins them not this mess.
He sticks out like a sore thumb in every subplot it's almost painful to watch.
SeRi went a long way from beating another teenager to a pulp along with a thug because she felt like it, later laughing at her suicide and mocking her death to being horrified at two women splashing water on each other....
I put it on hiatus after eps. 9 couldn't stand the snail pacing anymore, but I guess I did it at the right time, real life dramas and romours was just starting then. I escaped that.😆
How long did it take for SWL to win GT back in the novel?
As I remember in the extra, they saw each other accidentally after 3 yrs and later frol the child's POV we find out they're neighbours now and together. There wasn't any talking and discussing things with them.
Regarding the last scene, either she's their Hannibal or they wanted to tease a potential 2nd season. I think it's the former but won't say no to a continuation.
Despite that So Ae Ra was really well acted, from the good old friend to the unhinged murderer, I can't help but feeling the actress for her needed to be more dolled up! Like she's supposed to be a trans woman who had a deformity and mark in her face too so more need for all sorts of plastic surgeries.
Since KYJ used to be heavily abused and underfed, being small was quite natural (they said he was 12 when his dad was killed but a 8 yrs old plays him and he was quite small) and Ae Ra was a rather tall woman too so her body was alright, but I wasn't convinced by her face as the actress' face looks so natural and kind of isn't convincing of her identity.
I really hated the one dimensional treatment of JIS. Everyone calls her a monster, no one is concerned about the…
I know where you come from but we can't call her a heroine or avenging angel, can we? She IS a monster, but it doesn't matter. Because I think it needs a bigger monster to slaughter horrible people. In Kang's case, someone treats their own flesh and blood like that, everyone knew but turned a blind eye to it, in this case only someone more ruthless could deal with those kind of scums. No need to deny it.
Also, she enjoyed torturing and mulitating them so regardless of what kind of person her victims were, still she'd do it with pleasure.
I guess some people had defended her we just don't see them😅 in ep. 5 or 6 SuYeol tells the team that Kang's abuse had been so heinous that JIS had been defended by some media people for it.
I know it's remake of a French series but it reminds me of an older Korean movie.
Rainbow eyes (2007) where ML's old friend (and kind of childhood sweetheart) had gone abroad, underwent gender change surgery and returned to Korea as a woman and was killing his old rapists from the army days. On top of that (s)he was ML's girlfriend too.
I was suspicious of SuYeol's wife and her friend from the start but ep. 6 is making it worse.
Thanks.
