Aside from our heroine's luck and his own big mouth of gloating, another reason is that even though he's smart he's too hasty and doesn't think through, wants to do it and finish. Another thing is his complete lack of loyalty, everyone are means to an end for him, his aunt and her family, Lucia and Seri and the Mins. He cares for none of them so his plans are shrewd but since he's like that not one of his accomplices cares for him more than a dirty hand to do dirty works.

It's a lousy one. The foundation is too weak if you ask me, he would be better marrying off some prosecutor family than getting mixed with Cheobals.

While watching suddenly it occurred to me that the Chairman had white hair and is supposed to have dyed his hair yet we see no silver roots.... Sun Jae is probably orphaned in childhood or something. As crazy as this would be, if they were going to pull out such a trick, they should have done it way before. I always wondered why he's so fixed on Mingang while he could have better things somewhere but it went nowhere.

Normally I don't care for the movies that are full of mindless violence just to be bloody and tough but I liked this one, it actually has an story and isn't streching a 2 sentences plot for 2 hours. The creaters at least tried to make characters deep and complex and had some decent plot twists.

My favourite scene is the ending fight and the bus scene after that.
