1. Is Su E Huang / Lady Yu Lou a villain?2. Are there gonna be a ton of musinderstandings between the main couple?3.…
1. yes 2. not really...or at least nothing that will make you angry 3. some fights but not rlly breakups 4. i'm not sure tbh... i don't remember right now, sorry
Kind of obsessed with nothing making sense at the end.
No but on a real note... this was super thrilling in the beginning but towards episode 11 it just started getting soo strange. It seemed like the writer and cutter were on the same pills like the people in the show. I truly lost any kind of idea what was going on at some point... there are so many flashbacks in flashbacks, the timelines aren't properly laid out. I had no idea who was working for who, who liked who etc... BLEH. This tried to be too deep.
I think I expected more after having this on my watchlist for years and unintentionally regarding this as a staple/lowkey classic. I guess it's fun but it doesn't feel fully fleshed out - especially the pacing and characters. Maybe some people also like to overstate this a bit as Takashi Miike fans, who knows. My words almost sound a bit too harsh now, don't mind me. It's a decent movie and I especially like the choice of the blood beads.
The two main leads were amazing! I haven't really seen Honoka in anything so far but she was a delight to watch and that last scene of Aoyama Misato will haunt me for a while - those facial expressions!
No cause I do like Hajime and he is a green flag in most departments but communication??? NO. Maybe having a fiance could have been part of your heartfelt conversation about the "truth" or was it just about finally hitting? ... *rolls eyes*
this has been on my watch list for forever... even before it came out. I finally got around watching it and the bizarreness of it all even exceeded my expectations, that's for sure. No idea what I should even rate this...
