Just finished this and I give it 7.5/10 stars. I thought the story was definitely intrigueing but even though it was fast paced... the story got blown up a bit at times - or should I say that the entire premise is a bit "simple" to begin with? I liked the main couple and their affectionate scenes were great but for some reason they didn't give me butterflies, not sure why... still, very decent drama and I especially loved a certain montage in ep 23.

in the middle of 23.. and WOW. that is an awfully tragic and well done scene. Ming dying, her husband being drunk and not paying attention and her mother praying while the maid gets killed. THAT IS CINEMA TO ME. WOW.

I know she wasn't a good person in her previous life but Ming seriously didn't deserve this and I kinda wish Dou Zhao took her under her wing a little more even if she obviously doesn't have to at all.

It's very simple but pretty effective in my opinion. Ase to sekken portrays a healthy relationship between two mature adults who work through their issues together. Both main leads are lovable and not annoying which is not very common tbh. It's very funny at times and I like the "adult" factor too, it makes it more realistic.

Happy about that hyperhydrosis representation, the struggle is SO SO real.
