I often struggle keeping up with cdramas since they put out so many episodes so quickly... BUT DEF NOT HERE. GIVE ME MORREEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! PS: I LOVE the dad TT I'm so jelly...
I'm 6 episodes in and I'm enjoying it but I really do hope (warning: controversial opinion) Bai Jiu's screaming will stop at one point. It's just not funny after 20x/episode. I'm sorry TT
SO MUCH FUN! Esther's costumes are sooo soo beautiful, especially the head accessories, absolutely stunning. Ding Yuxi's character is quite despicable so far but I hope he makes up for it in the future hehehe
I think this is alright as a light "side-watch". I'm just here for Kanon who is phenomonal in my opinion. I hope she gets a cute rom-com lead role at some point.
is it just me or the cuts between some scenes are bad
I'll have to look out for that specifically in the future! What they're doing wrong for me is the shot reverse shot montage. Especially in the first episode it irked me, when Ai-oon and Ob-oon were talking. They kept showing them from the same angle/side of their face, even though they're supposed to be standing opposite of each other. Of course we as viewers understand what they're trying to show but it just confuses you and looks bad. They did it again in ep2 and IDK WHY. Ahaha ;P
Nice movie, very artsy...maybe a bit TOO artsy for my taste. So many things are left unexplained and while I get that that's the "vibe" here, it also frustrates me and results in the movie feeling underdeveloped to me. The OST is AMAZING though and I cannot wait to get my hands on that one track!
Finished a rewatch two days ago. This is still one of my favourite shows out there. So funny and I feel like there is so much passion and love behind this project.
I haven't read the manga or watched the anime, so to me the story was completely new - thus I'll probably view it differently than fans. The good: Amazing soundtrack, some pretty neat creative choices (I'm talking cgi to further the main's character POV and imagination) and a decent storyline with nice motivational lines. Beautiful artworks. The not so good: Story felt a bit clichéd and you can tell it's an adaption. Certain characters barely get screentime, so their motivation and reasoning gets a bit lost and hard to understand as the audience. Directing/editing is sometimes a bit... unsmooth? And last but not least, some actors in here are definitely better at acting than others.
Currently rewatching this show and it's still so so good and funny. This series simply warms my heart and lifts my spirits every time I watch it. All the characters are so well written and the comedy hits the spot for me!
Pretty nice. It has some good ideas and I personally really loved part 1 and 2. Part 3 kind of felt out of place, even while understanding what it was trying to do.
I'm starting to feel like something's wrong with me... 10 episodes in and this is seriously not doing doing it for me unfortunately. Will continue tho! :(

BUT I'M SOOO EXCITED YIIPIIEEE
