It's fun but I hate how she keeps being very obvious when talking on the phone... I realize it's just for dramatic purposes + maybe because she never actually talks but... C'MON. Why would the kidnapper talk like that??? TT

I personally love the pairing of Zhang Linghe & Yu Shuxin, so I was thoroughly loving this. Unfortunately their screen time was a bit limited in my opinion. Contrary to what a few people are saying, I thought the ML character was so refreshing and endearing. Was he stupid sometimes? Yes, but that's the point!! I admit they could have given hil a bit more depth though. Also ...wouldn't it be boring if every ML was perfect without any flaw? Sick of seeing those...
Some of the side characters were so lovely and I thought the world they created was so interesting. A 2nd season would make this story even better! I don't think it will happen but you never know...

I'm not sure how you will feel about it but at a certain point the couples split up and I kinda was actually a bit more invested in the "main" couple for that part of the series?
On one hand I feel like the ending DOES give you a better understanding of the entire "game premise" and its themes and meanings but on the other hand... MAN, idk but the "grander" main story makes all the 30 eps and its little storylines that came before feel kinda insignificant. Not to mention that there was no kiss which is honestly quite baffling. WHY?
3 episodes in and it definitely has its good moments but overall it's a bit dull to be honest. they're not really sure how far they should go with the crazy humour and it ends up throwing off their balance.
