It will be incredible injustice if shifu dies very next moment of accepting FH love because he knows that FH won't allow any other man in her heart other than him and will spent her whole life alone once shifu dies...

So I built my hunch from that video and trailers of coming episode, shifu is going to injure as a secret assassination is planned on emperor and ji Cheng rise in ...result in shifu worrying because he can see his end near and in order to save FH from cluches of ji Cheng who know FH is a girl , he begs emperor to marry FH ...that way she will out of ji Cheng reach .
So this do suggest sad ending for shifu

And can we give a moment appreciation to writer for giving ZL character more dimension that not using a tool of sympathy as she is blind . I like how writer giving the message that "your capabilities are not limited or reduced if you are disable ...you can do more and deserve more than sympathy"

More likely that shifu forced him and that is why he wanted to meet ZL before he leaves but can't ...sad

I agree it is far better than other drama with good writing but it still have its own flaws

But if we go by spoiler , then the only possibility left that Tilan and her child both dies in childbirth .
Haishi who also expecting but married to emperor ..give birth to FJM child but cover him as emperor son and in that way only the child can rule the throne .

I feel like your morals are judging the acting of the actors .

My Guess is emperor might not fall for Haishi but highly appreciate her for her capabilities . She have proven herself by hiding herself as a boy while doing all the task which were quite impossible for a girl (like going on a battle , going on border which have a rough terrain etc).
He highly appreciate her just as he appreciate FJM for his loyalty to nation and for his skills .
As for marrying her , we know he married in order to protect her on request of FJM .
Also Emperor made is lot clear that he psycho , so he do love Tilan but still chose to go near FH and thanks to his nosiness FH know the truth of bond of baixi .
