who missed the melodrama tag for this , it's a crime to make us watch this as romance. i honestly have no idea what I just binged watched. there is only one way to describe this drama taking a knife stabbing you , pulling it out and stabbing again over and over again. Honestly can't give a better review than that. the filmography is top notch , i cant bring myself to hate what I spent the past 12 hours on but WTF did I just watch

wow the low rating and the extremely small number of ratings made me doubt this drama before going in but it's been a pleasure to watch i find myself at the end of the day having binged it forgetting what time it is. hope it continues to be good post ep 6

sigh i am biased towards the actors i have to rate it a 5 for them even though it's a 2 at most. The writers can't seem to stick to a genre for this show , sprinkled in everything they could think of. Around the midway mark the character they built for the FL seems to be forgotten with emotions being felt and acted upon just not potrayed in facial expressions. Waited so long for this pairing just for a plot that was literally buried deeper than the lamp , the writers have done a great injustice upon the actors.

why are the ratings on this so low and so many bad reviews? i hesitated due to it but now 6 episodes in its a good healing drama with focus on friends and their work lives as attorneys. highly recommend it

i had this high on my to watch list and was real excited seeing the ratings. to say it's a let down is to state the obvious, it feels more like a viki drama with Netflix budget. one that was wasted on fancy bagrounds, props and multi camera work. storyline seems like a lot , potential was there but it just drops dark and moody themes and then fails to connect the consequence till the end of the episode. a mismatch in ratings like no other on MDL, this is nowhere near an 8.9.

i am now 4 episodes into this so here is my next review. i might have been a little hasty in comparing this to gaus electronics or the comedy genre in general. there seems to be 3 different scripts in this drama completing for screen time. 1) comedy & social issues 2) romance and melodrama 3) Business. i will review each of these seperately and then give you my overall take. 1) comedy & social issues: Thankfully they have moved on from fart jokes they are now at situational comedy and are using it as a sort of counter balance to fight social issues which they have sprinkled in like most dramas do with Product placements. 2) Romance and melodrama: well the melo and backstory was kind of unexpected, individually for its part it's done well and It sort of provides a backstory for the ML's different from normal behaviour?. 3) Business : it was heavily favoured in episode 1&2 but sort of forced into 3&4 with sort of hints of where it is leading. i don't watch too many business dramas so I can't comment on how it's done individually here.

ok overall while each individual script in this is good and done well, put together it's sort of out of place, a mix and mash that leaves you wondering what you are watching. i can't hate it because the individual part are good just that it doesn't seem to go together, it's like whoever directed this and got a say on the final cut just threw everything into a hotpot and just cut random parts out, individually good but confusing a whole is the word for this drama so far.

i agree, 2nd episode was much better than the 1st. i don't see this becoming an amazing drama but it could move to a decent watch among its genre if they stop using fart jokes and wordplay for comedy. the director has made much better dramas so I am left wondering by his choice of re-using cuts across episodes for screentime , it does have the feel of a low budget drama currently.

well 2 epsiodes in here is my review/ take : this drama has a clear genre of comedy centric and it's comparisons should be as such as well. IE : gaus electronics , Pegasus market. My personal take is this drama didn't make me cringe or recoil from uncomffort. however it didn't make me specifically laugh either. the comedy is at the level of fart jokes and wordplay. my prediction for this drama for now is : it's not going to be anything great it might coast through as another decent watch that is if it doesn't try to fit in uncomfortable scenarios as comedy later on. i will update this comment as more episodes are released.

well I saw your comment on this drama and it looks like a nuanced take so I went through your MDL list to validate what you would consider a good drama since you have some praise for this one. all your ratings seem to be between 3-6 stars. just wondering why do you rate dramas so low consistently if you like them ?

Took a minute to come back and rate this drama. i finsihed watching this 2 days ago and have felt a void since. Personally I recommend this drama for its ease of watching & pacing. not too many cliches there is one towards the end, from an acting stand point the ML performed a lot better than the FL and made up for any missing elements. 9.5/10 for me

An over the top cringe fest is my best description of this drama.

Don't get me wrong not to hate on this , i might not be the target audience for this but I don't think anyone above the age of 16 should be the target audience given any of the factors.

Acting, Direction, Writing, Editing everything seems to follow a trope and is made out for a possibly younger audience. No one above the age of 20 could possibly sit through this and rate it anywhere above 5/10.

she has had only 1 episode of actual storyline so far , how are you already annoyed

i have no idea what I just watched. I have never rated a drama bad prior to 3 episodes but this I am speechless, they make anything in the name of drama these days

hmmm how do I rate this drama. The storyline, FL , direction, camerawork were all a perfect fit and done really well.

The ML however had a sort of expressionless face , he usually gets the same type of roles - the lazing around no good ( ho goo's love , our beloved summer ) but I just couldn't connect with the story due to his expressions.

overall it's a 8.5 but I can't in good conscience rate it above 8.

this is probably a good drama to watch for those new to K-drama's and switching over from anime fandoms. the entire flow is very anime like with a catchy ost, only disappointment is the conclusion of the final arc ep 9-10 could have been handled better it felt like a lot of build up for a very medicore final plot.

Nooooooooo , i started this drama thinking it ends in 2 days now I see last episode is scheduled for 14th. The wait is going to be torture. Here is an early review of the drama from me : Started out really good and the power roles have been reversed which is an interesting situation, the child actress is really talented. I wouldn't say there is a lot of chemistry between the leads but there is an certain ease in their interaction so it doesn't feel awkward or forced atleast. plot started out unique but turned really predictable, 9 episodes in future plot seems obvious too. overall 8.2/10 would be my rating.

saw the 9.1 rating before starting and thought it was an inflated number. well it's been a while but i binged a k-drama in a day again finally. No new concept or masterpiece here but it was really well executed without flaws. the vibe 1ep in tells you it's adapted from a web novel and it doesn't try to hide it in the style of the drama. solid 9/10 recommend others to binge watch this drama

having just finished ep8 it was getting too into the romance and just dancing around the mystery. one of the big reveals that happens this episode most of us probably guessed it and the cliff hanger at the end is very cliche to K-drama's. personally my rating EP 1-3 : 9/10. post that everything has been a cliche or a drive away from the mystery ep8 with my hope for this drama to get better barely holds it at around 8.3/10

well would not recommend watching, it starts as a typical romcom and it stayed afloat with product placements. KSJ's role was so poorly written, usually her acting skills carry and you can dissasosciate her from the character this time though it was like the same aura and personality from business proposal carried over and she wasn't convincing as an ex-military , a shame since her acting in action has been proven through uncanny counter.

how have they achieved to make a show where support and backstory character arcs are so much more interesting than main storyline. the lack of chemistry is stunning. this should have been a highschool rom com the younger versions atleast have basic acting skills.
