Yeah they were friendly. She has no clue who BFX really is :) In the novel the brother is dead but yeah it would have been funny :)

None of this political stuff about Lanxi is in the novel so this is all new. The novel mainly focuses on BFX and her journey. Lanxi is accompanying her more rather then the other way around. And there is a lot more war in there.

Chun Ran is about to pick HFX as consort at the banquet, but he gets up to leave before she can choose him and he goes to BFX instead. This happens really early in the novel though and they are not as lovey dovey in there. But he gives up someone he can use to help him get more power in the world for BFX so that is a a nice thing :)

In the novel he arrives in town as Hei Feng Xi. He and BFX spends some time with Chun Ran before the competition and she has basically already chosen him to be her consort. So she basically lets him skip the competition there.

I really like that they have at least kept this part of the novel, that BFX gets along with the other women. It's one of the things that bother me the most is when the FL basically never has any female friends.

I think that they will go back to Yongzhou for ep 27-28 and then go to Chun ran. So I guess that next time in Yongzhou will be quite short.

It made me happy because the chess scene, and the banquest and Huang chao asking BFX to marry him is in the novel. As there has been a lot of changes from the book, basically everything, I am glad to see that they kept something I really enjoyed when I read the novel.

No its Chun Rans banquet. She asked BFX to help get rid of the less interesting suitors so that is why BFX is dressed in Chun rans dress.

Nah that was not there. But the chess part was in the novel. With BFX pretending to be Chun ran is also in the novel, but Lanxi is not participating in that because Chun ran already fancies him. In the novel Chun ran asks BFX to help get rid of some of the suitors.

She is a very ambitious woman and sure has a way to go about it :D

I laughed real loud with the chess and when Huang Chao came into the picture hahahahahaha.

It will be interesting for sure what will happen now that more people know who he really is.

Well she will either tell him or he finally figures it out himself before going there. I guess tomorrows episodes might make that more clear since those previews were about her more. Losing the inner strength is probably fake yeah since he likes to plot things.

Preview 29/30 made me happy as a novel reader lol finally something that is in the book.

23 and 24 has arrived :)

I think Huang Chao has had way to little screentime compared to the other supporting roles. And he is actually supposed to be important xD

Atm it feels more like Who will rule Yongzhou then the world yeah.

You should watch A Couple of Mirrors :D It's just 12 episodes so it goes quite fast.

I think you mean preview for ep 26. So the other guy is the FLs brother, but since she has a secret identity the male lead does not know they are related.
