My biased me wished for at least 100 episode and I am sure it wouldn't be enough. Definitely worth it. Crazy chemistry between the two mains and almost all support characters were written so good and enjoyable to watch. Some scenes are a bit different in each version but the whole story remains the same. In the novel you often can read a bit about their feelings and it is a bit more explicit and obvious in some scenes. The audio drama is the most explicit one (but no kisses so far and I only know that in the last episode, 12, of the audio drama, Jiang Yuelou hands Chen Yuzhi the keys to his home and asks him something like if they can be a family, but thiseEpisode isn't translated yet).
I like every version the same but all the pictures I imagine when I read the novel or listen to the audio drama come from the TV show. I think the TV show, even with the censorship, had the most impact on me.

There is a girl and she falls in love with one of them but don't worry. She is the best girl you can find in a BL show. She is a great character and even supports the mains. She adds to the story and is never annoying (and her roommate, also a girl, is a great character too.... like most of the support chars in this show). The music is also over the top.

Most daring in this franchise is the audio drama but there are only 12 episodes produced (about half of the TV show) and only 6 are translated but they are so good, believe me. Quite a bit more daring and with the same voice actors for the mains and some support chars.

If you decide to watch it, I recommend watching the cut scenes at YouTube afterwards, at the latest then you'll know it's meant to be more than straight bromance. Don't get me wrong though. The show regarding the main leads relationship works perfectly without the cut scenes. They are just sugar on top (best sugar ever ☺️).

If you like fanfics, there are a number of stories at AO3 (214 right now I think) and also a few at Wattpad.
