Yeah 🤭 But I don't like the official alternate ending made by Mango TV but there is a fanmade FMV called Blissful on YouTube which is really well made and which gives the drama a proper ending.

I watched S.C.I. too and I like it very much, waiting for season 2 for so long but honestly I doubt it will be made. I also think it wasn't just bromance. It's the same with Killer and Healer but imho it is even more obvious that the two mains are more than just friends. It feels like the censors didn't give it a too close of a look. The deleted scenes tell you even more that this is not just bromance.

Wait for episode 8. Here you can seen something very sweet (even if shrouded in darker events). And the best scene of all, at least my fav, is in episode 17. You'll instantly know what I mean. And there are many more nice, heartwarming scenes. Some of them are so obvious imho that I wonder how they could have passed censorship. We certainly can consider ourselves lucky that KaH seemingly flew under the radar. YueZhi will give you many cheek-hurting moments. 😁

When you finished it you should definitely watch the deleted scenes at YouTube. Some may doubt that this is more than bromance between Chen Yuzhi and Jiang Yuelou but not after watching the deleted scenes 🥰

I'll be honest. There will be lots of deaths in the second half of the series. Yeah, it's sad as f*ck but I never regretted watching it. You can at least avoid the most hurting death by skipping the last minutes.

Depends. You can choose to only skip the last scenes of the last episode and you will get a nice ending without missing anything of the story at all and it even wouldn't feel like you cut the episode of.

I would recommend to give this a try. It's one of the best made Chinese dramas in recent years.

The actors, regardless if mains or supports where carefully and perfectly chosen, the characters are more than just well written, visuals and music are OTP and you get a solid, mature story.

Even censorship couldn't kill the chemistry between the two main actors or the obvious romance between the characters they played. And the cat is the best.

You get a drama with some fresh humor, very serious topics und surprisingly cute scenes.

Lucky me watched S.C.I. before Killer And Healer. If I had watched KaH first I might not have liked S.C.I. as much as I did. I liked the villain a lot here. Still kind of hoping for a season two although I guess that won't happen.

Then try Killer and Healer. Chinese and censored yes, but somehow it flew under the radar and you get two guys with an insane chemistry, over the top acting a great story and not only the main but also most of the support chars are just so well written. Give it a chance and you might be surprised.

If you need another drama which leaves you questioning how it could have passed censorship I highly recommend Killer and Healer once you have finished Word of Honor and want to watch more. An angry cop, an unbelievably calm doctor, a girl and a cat 😁

Oh, and I definitely recommend a re-watch. It is so worth it.
