A kind of tree is called River Maple and google translates the 余 character as "more than" .... but that doesn't help to understand. We can go with "The River Maple is burnt by something more than fire"... meaning the impact Chen Yu Zhi had on Jiang Yue Lou. What do you think?

Depends what exactly you are looking for. Killer and Healer hasn't aired not to long ago. Also Republican Era but focusses on the relationship between the ML (pure bromance/censored BL) and a more heavier story.

Now that would be more than nice. Let it be the shy Chen Yu Zhi then...convincing Jiang Yue Lou again with his heartmelting character that feelings aren't a bad thing. Although the other way around might also be intriguing...that's for season 3 then XD

I've just had two weeks of vacation and used the time to spam MDL, read a bit of fanfic and rewatch (some episodes even more then two times). From next monday on I won't have that much time ... :(

Yes that's the one. I'm now at chapter 6. It's solid writing for me. A bit blunt sometimes but a good read so far. If it fit's I will post the link in the disussion section.

I do not know in which direction it will go (maybe it will have graphic content in it's further course for example, or something else unappropriate) so I do not want to place a link here. I made some for me " bad" experiences with fanfic for Guardian. I mean everyone has his/her own taste which is not for me to judge but I do not want to share something which might disturb someone.

Yes you are right about the risks of a second season but right now you cannot consider me a reasonable human being. Then maybe another drama with both of them and a bit more episodes...and cpr... :P

Thank you <3 ... Now it is time for a second season (because after all the first didn't end in the way the producers wanted it originally to end so there's room for new stories). Then they can let CYZ say something like that to JYL... and they can implement a cpr scene (excuse for a not-kiss ;)

Exactly this is the source of our energy. So right now I reached the next stage of madness and wrote something in mandarin (better not translate it back tough, who knows what it really means):

If I can spare some time maybe I will start a discussion thread here with basic words and their translations from the drama (but I'm usually very lazy so I don't know if this will come into existence :). This way all of us can add words and their translation and learn some new words/characters. And as we love our KaH that much we surely will remember them for the rest of our lives :P

Duolingo in my opinion is good. Especially because even the free version is enough to give a proper learning experience. The ads are bearable. But Duolingo alone doesn't seem to be enough. I think to get the feeling that you really learn the language additional "tool" (dramas, games, ...) are needed. And it doesn't teach you how to write. I can read some characters but I only can write a handful without having an example lying in front of me.
