Jiang Mu is one of the most misunderstood FLs of Chinese dramas just like Esther is irl.

Some viewers easily embrace cold n haughty FLs yet hesitate to accept the ones who r openly sweet, emotional n soft without irony. Somehow strength is only valid when it looks tough but when it looks soft, emotional or gentle it’s mocked. Jiang Mu’s softness isn’t her weakness, it’s simply her way of existing.
I don't mind whether the FL is calm or bubbly as different stories naturally call for different kinds of FLs.

On top of that, Esther herself has been constantly targeted and subjected to waves of online abuse which only fuels the negativity around the character. It also feels like many ppl are buying into the prior narrative pushed by haters. Once that label sticks, others repeat it without really looking at her character objectively. N it turns into a bandwagon of criticism.

I did see the wedding bts before the release n got so excited. they should give us special eps but ik they simply won't. It's so frustrating 🙂

They r not even blood related forget about being step siblings. FL's father didn't ever adopt the ML officially.

N about the FL's char, they reduced the no.of eps so a lot of her scenes got deleted n changed a few things from the novel. If u read the novel u'll understand y Jiang Mu(FL) was so attached to the JinZhao(ML)
