I noticed that Bong Yi called Sung Ji Eun "Sung Jin Ah" when she went to look for her because of the kidnapping incident. Now I'm confused. Wasn't Sung Ji Eun just called Sung Ji Eun throughout the entire drama? Or was her name never mentioned in the present and we can assume that she changed her name at some point in the past? But even if she uses a new name now, the kidnapping incident happened in the past, so they should have her old name. What's going on?
I also wonder if the grandma with dementia who's accused of killing cats is a clue for something. The item Bong Yi proposed before mentioning the serial murder case , I mean. Nothing seems arbitrary in this drama.
No matter how I look at it, Bong Yi feeling nauseous really bugs me. At first I overlooked it thinking that it must have been due to nervousness in that situation, but this doesn't seem to be it. Furthermore, she felt nauseous after drinking coffee which is bad for pregnant women. And I also noticed that she was drinking soda while Ba Reum and Dong Goo were drinking beer when they met up at night.
Could she really be pregnant? But how? I'm now really wondering if I missed anything, but I believe there were no hints at all that Ba Reum and Bong Yi slept with each other, or were there? And if they really did, when could it have happened? They're not even in a relationship yet.
I'm currently rewatching ep. 13 to see if I missed anything, and the way Ba Reum looks at Bong Yi really stands out. It was still unclear so far what exactly it is that he's feeling towards Bong Yi, but after this episode I'm 99% sure he's in love with her.
That's what I expected would happen at some point and also what I wanted to see. Ba Reum will be so devastated if it turns out he really killed her grandma. I also wonder how far their relationship will go before the entire truth comes out and how Bong Yi will react once she knows everything.
I'm at ep 9 and i think i will drop this title.I feel like im losing my braincells.Frontal lobe is not responsible…
It's definitely not possible. It's just what Ba Reum thinks (or rather wants to believe to stay at least a little sane) but it's very obvious that it's not the case and that the memories must be his own's. The truth about this still hasn't been revealed at ep. 13, but it will probably happen soon. The writer suggested that Ba Reum's past will be revealed in ep. 14.
A lot of people were disappointed by ep. 9, me included, but you should give this drama another chance imo. The best part is yet to come. Ep. 10-12 were really good.
Bareum has a new standard of murder. In addition to killing the killers, he leaves the DNA of the next victim.…
Oh, you're right. Now it makes sense. After reading your comment, I remembered that the blood on the necktie wasn't his friend's but from one of the prisoners. Ba Reum even asked whose blood it was back then.
Oh really, he was the boxer? What a nice observation, I had no idea who the guy could be.
Maybe he wished he wasn't born in the first place and the boxer ruined it, so he punished him for it? It's really twisted, but I could imagine something like that haha. Jae Hoon was always very pessimistic about himself and hated being born a psychopath after all.
Furthermore, we're basically following the story from Ba Reum's perspective, so maybe he was drunk and can't remember the incident?
