I find it very hard to extract clues from the voice. The way of talking does feel like the recent Ba Reum when he gets excited talking about murder-related stuff, but maybe I'm just tempted to think so since I'm already convinced that it must be Ba Reum.

I think you're right. I just finished rewatching ep. 10 and it indeed seems like the lawyer killed the two women. There were some details I missed when I watched the live broadcast yesterday.

But I don't think the lawyer staged the murders to appear like the cross killer's, he has no reason to. It must have been done by someone else after the lawyer killed the victims and left. Someone is definitely messing with Ba Reum.

This means the new "cross killer" might actually not be a killer. We'll see if more cross murders will happen.

The mint scent confuses me the most right now. Lee Min Soo isn't wearing mint scent, otherwise Ba Reum would already have noticed, they've run into each other a dozen times already. And even if the killer were someone else, if the scent came from the culprit, I don't think it would last for so long on the bodies that Ba Reum could smell it. So it seems like the mint scent was deliberately sprayed on the bodies. Or was the mint scent originally on the victims and it's the killer's pattern to go for prey that smells like mint? But that can't be the case since one body was burnt and the scent would thus have been gone, so the scent must have been sprayed on the body after it was burnt.

Ba Reum mentioned before that Grandma's killer (aka Yo Han) smelt like mint and this might have been written down in the case file under witness statements. So does the culprit want to drive Ba Reum crazy by deliberately trying to confuse Ba Reum even more about himself and Yo Han?

Moo Chi doesn't die. Ba Reum fights against his inner voice by hitting his own hand that's strangling Moo Chi, and then Bong Yi appears, so he stops altogether.

This actually makes sense. The boxer might have wanted to avenge his sister's death and thus planned to kill the entire family, but Jae Hoon and his mother happened to be lucky and weren't at home at the time. So, in order to protect her son (since the boxer might come back), Song Ji Eun replaced Jae Hoon with another child.

But rather than a switch, I think Song Ji Eun just gave away Jae Hoon to the aunt and adopted a child completely unrelated to the two women from ep. 1 to take Jae Hoon's place. And the son of the other woman could be the new cross killer.

Or maybe Jae Hoon first went to another family and his new mother then really got killed in a car accident. Or it's just an invented story.

The only problematic thing with this theory is, since the kids were already 10 years old at the time, they should remember what happened back then, shouldn't they? It's possible that Yo Han knew all along that he's not the biological son, but I don't think Ba Reum aka Jae Hoon was aware of the switch, otherwise he'd have recognized Song Ji Eun as his birth mother.
