Guys, have you seen the latest promos already?https://www.soompi.com/article/1462132wpp/lee-seung-gi-turns-into-someone-completely-different-as-he-glares-at-someone-with-bloodthirsty-eyes-in-mouseThey're…
And to me the pics actually look like someone kidnapped Ba Reum? Or why else would he be on his knees and his hands behind his back?

Can duk soo be dead in episode 10? I can't stand him '-'
Yes, please! But it seems like they're going to focus on other people first, like the two girls we saw at the end of ep. 9, probably. They will have to come back to his story at some point, though. And there's also the lawyer whom they still have to catch.

I know it's probably because of her guilt for being involved with Han Seo Joon's murders that she didn't return…
I think she meant that they're similar as in that both of them had to suffer in their lives because of a murderer.

I just rewatched the final scenes of ep. 9 and noticed that Ba Reum seems to have drawn the two girls sitting in front of him as their haircut and even the clothes are the same in the drawings. So it looks like he was subconsciously imagining how to kill them and now I wonder if he will actually really kill them in ep. 10. The preview also sort of seems to hint at this possibility since we see a woman hanging and that's what he draw.

But I still assume that Ba Reum has been the cross killer all along and I thus don't see the purpose in making him kill people even after the surgery. Or is he going to turn into "psychopath mode" whenever he kills and not remember afterwards, like it was the case with the bird?

I know it's probably because of her guilt for being involved with Han Seo Joon's murders that she didn't return to her parents, but I still can't sympathize with her. Having to believe your child is dead is probably the worst thing that can happen to parents, so she should at least have let them know that she's still alive. She just let her parents suffer and there's nothing to excuse this behavior imo.

And I was expecting her to reveal herself after she heard that her mom killed the old detective, but even then she didn't. Of course, the situation was cleared soon after, but the feelings she got after hearing that should have changed something in her. But no, she's still hiding.

One thing we know for sure now: Hong Joo is indeed Detective Park's daughter. Han Seo Joon mentioned her real name when he recalled her and Hong Joo's expression when she heard that her mother killed the old detective proved it as well.

Guys, whatever it will be, I think something really big will happen in ep. 10 since it marks the half point of the drama. And the episode is rated 19+.

I'm really curious to know what happened to the person who was after bong yiaren't they going to show that?
I was actually expecting to see that in ep. 9, but they spent so much time on the background story that the actual plot didn't really advance. Maybe in ep. 10?

That's why I said it's my wishful thinking. Hope dies last haha.

This is sort of giving me Start-Up flashbacks. There I was in denial till the bitter end too (although these two dramas are completely different of course and nothing will ever beat my disappointment with Start-Up, and Mouse is still a lot better even with the stupid twists).

What I mean is that the whole story they told Ba Reum about the Headhunter's experiments and that the latter did a brain transplant on him and how it came to it and so on somehow turns out to be fake. That's my wishful thinking.

I think I'm going to watch the live-broadcast today because I'm still in disbelief about what I just saw in ep. 9 and I want it to be revealed as just a big conspiracy and nothing that we saw is actually true haha. And I think after watching ep. 10, I'll be able to come to terms with it if nothing hints at a conspiracy.

Also, anybody can walk into evidence room like it's some temple and free entry for everyone. No security whatsoever.…
Ba Reum knows the passcode since he's a genius and could remember it after he saw Moo Chi putting it in once, so this explains why he keeps getting into the room without any problems.
But Hong Joo getting into there was indeed a little over the top. I suppose they left the door open for a little while and that's when she got in, but yeah, there should have been more security.

everyone is getting ahead of themselves thinking that the drama has concluded Yo Han as the killer. From the preview…
I don't think that's the point why people are angry. It's because of the brain transplant itself, no matter who the culprit is.

Furthermore, I still don't believe Yo Han is the killer and I think most people think the same.

I'm thinking about the scene when they started talking about the transplant as if they were doing transplants…
I laughed so much reading this comment.

I still wish there will be some mindblowing twist that puts the drama back on track, although I have no idea how that would be possible. But I just don't want to believe it's going down the drain after it started so amazingly.

I don't think Ba Reum killed Moo Chi. Moo Chi is a main character and we're not even at the half point of the drama. Even if Moo Chi gets killed at some point, it wouldn't happen this early in the drama.

Ba Reum was either just dreaming of this scene, or Moo Chi isn't injured enough to die and won't remember what happened after waking up.

But I still believe it's more likely that Ba Reum is the killer and Yo Han's innocent brain was transplanted to him. I think Ba Reum will now start investigating the real killer and catch himself.

Maybe the aunt was aware of Ba Reum's psychopathic tendencies as a child and didn't want him to remember it, so she brought a photo of a different child.

I really don't like the new turn of events, it kind of nullifies the original purpose of the drama and turns it into a shallow sensational story. I'm still hoping for a twist though, but chances are slim now.

I just happened to read this: "Mouse achieves the highest viewership rating among all tvN Wed-thur dramas during the last two years."

I knew the ratings were good, but I wasn't aware of this. I'm so happy about this!

The only thing that annoying me from this is the fact that we have to wait a whole week just to see the last episode…
Maybe they'll change it to 21 episodes. They often do that in such cases if the ratings are good enough, which is the case with Mouse.
