I like how Dal Mi can sense that something is bothering Ji Pyeong. In ep 11 she delivers the porridge even when…
Right. You can tell from these scenes that she's her grandma's granddaughter haha. Both are able to see through the facade he's built up and I love them for this.
I LOVED episode 12. It's probably one of my favorites! Which says a lot as it followed a very draggy and lukewarm…
I was also wondering, what are your thoughts on the epilogue and Do San not seeing a rainbow after the rain? I thought that maybe one could interpret it as Do San having strayed too far away to be able to walk towards the bright future (which he sees in Dal Mi at this time). That would also speak for Dal Mi ending up with Ji Pyung again. But I'd love to hear other opinions on it as well.
Words will fail to describe how proud I am that KSH is getting all these recognition!!Even 2D1N is constantly…
The ratings for 1N2D are going up as well! This is definitely thanks to Seon Ho. On a side note, I'm really relieved that his newfound popularity is also boosting the ratings of 1N2D. I freaking love this show and was really afraid they might cancel it one day since this season hasn't been doing as well as the previous ones ratingswise.
Guys, Kim Seon Ho has been trending on first place on Soompi again for the past few hours! Seems like every article mentioning Seon Ho is going up right to first place on the trending list lol. I'm so proud of him.
Just wanted to take a quick second to appreciate Kim Seon Ho's acting skills. Honestly everyone in this drama…
If you haven't decided yet which of his other works you want to watch first, then I highly recommend You Drive Me Crazy (it's super short, only 4 episodes) and Catch the Ghost. Especially the latter one is criminally underrated and I wished it would have aired after Start-Up. I didn't only like it for Kim Seon Ho's stellar performance but I also really liked the plot and the dynamic between him and the female lead. Catch the Ghost is really an underrated gem imo.
and it is very funny how people tend to overlook the mentor's attitudes, because he has good intentions when he…
I don't think anyone here has slaughtered In Jae though? In contrary, I've seen lots of comments about liking her character and wanting to see more of her.
At the beggining of the drama I thought that HJP will remain mentor and those lies will be used as a small breakup,…
You're right about their age. We were talking about the age of the characters here some hours ago and found out that Ji Pyung is currently (before the time skip) 34 years old and was 19 in the past, while Do San and Dal Mi are currently 28 years old and were thus 13 in the past. Note that this is their Korean age, so you have to substract one year for their international age.
But wow Nam Da-reum and Kim Seonho's acting are so in sync! They portrayed Han Jipyeong beautifully
Can we please have a drama with those two as main leads playing brothers or so? A non-clichee drama that isn't about romantic love but brotherly love for once lol.
If the show ends with Dalmi and Dosan together, that would just make the inclusion of the subtle yet clearly important…
Exactly. I've read so many great analysis that all point to Miji endgame which makes it really hard to believe that all those cues were thrown in unintentionally. If it's really Dodal in the end, wtf was the point then?
He never told her that she's worthless as a person. He told her that she's worthless as a CEO (with all the knowledge and experience she has at that very moment). There's a big difference.
Edit: He didn't say this literally of course, but that's more like what he meant. I just wanted to correct your original sentence.
Thank you for your analysis! It was once again really interesting to read and very eye-opening.The food scene…
There are all kinds of different words for noodles in the Korean language and those Dal Mi and Ji Pyung always eat are 국수 (guksu) which is exactly the type of noodles people eat at weddings. There's even a Korean expression for "getting married" which literally means "eating guksu" .

The food scene with Dal Mi and Ji Pyung in ep. 12 caught my eye as well. Especially the fact that it's always noodles when it comes to these two. Even Ji Pyung pointed it out by asking Dal Mi why they're eating noodles again. Thus, I think there must be a meaning behind the emphasis on noodles and what comes to my mind is that in Korea noodles are being eaten at weddings since they symbolize longevity (the same goes for birthdays but this doesn't fit here).
He got rich... Even when he didn't had a penny he didn't lack attitude... Now it will be 2 times higher...
He might get richer than Ji Pyung if Ji Pyung uses all his money to maintain Noongil. Remember how they said before that Noongil costs a lot of money every single second in which people use it? I can totally see him spending his entire money on Noongil for Grandma lol.
That correlates with the fact that Kim Seon Ho recently said that his health seems to have deteriorated lol. All…
It was mentioned once in the earlier episodes of 1N2D that he passed out during the filming of the show due to fatigue (but they didn't show it on TV). The others have been teasing him for it every now and then. And he also said in some interview that he started working out in the morning to improve his stamina because he once passed out while filming (a drama I think) all night. So it seems like it happened several times to him. I really hope he'll take good care of his health and takes time off to rest. Being an actor really is a demanding job.
Someone wrote here a few episodes back that KSH's back must be hurting carrying this drama. Well, fair to conclude…

All joking aside, I hope he takes some time to rest now that filming has finished. Even though I'm sure he's still very busy now. I don't want to hear about him passing out again.
For those of you who haven't seen the article yet, this time it's about 1N2D and Moon Se Yoon joking that Seon Ho is becoming too popular: https://www.soompi.com/article/1439366wpp/moon-se-yoon-jokes-about-kim-seon-ho-becoming-too-popular-on-2-days-1-night-season-4
