Buddy, I'm afraid you've walked into the wrong room. This is idol rom-com land, set your expectations a bit lower…
Nah, dearest, I go, where my fave actors are.
And this has Huang Hai Bing, Collin Chou and some others, I deeply love and highly respect.
Not to forget the handsome Su Jian Quan as General Xia Hou Ying...
Sorry, but I'm not loyal to a genre but to my fave actors...

I find General Xia Hou Ying extremely good looking. Whenever he comes on screen I just can’t take my eyes off…
Yesss!
Me too!
I'm currently developing a serious crush on him:
Goodlooking, manly, a skilled fighter...
The actor, Su Jian Quan has this "something special" and I hope, we'll get to see him in a leading role, soon. With his on-screen presence, it should be only a matter of time...
Until then, let's swoon. :D

I couldn't agree more...
"The Moon...." has Huang Hai Bing and Collin Chou and the gorgeous General Xia Hou Ying (played by Su Jing Quan). They make this bearable.
But the girl(s) in this series...
I don't know, where they dug her/them up. They must haven been desperate finding a FL if they didn't even take the time to check on possible rudimentarily hints of talent...

Yu Meng Long's acting is not as robotic as in The Love Lasts Two Minds, but still pretty stiff. When Zhan Qinghong…
Just started watching (3 episodes in) and (aside the always gorgeous Huang Hai Bing), General Xia Hou Ying (Su Jian Quan) is the only male I'd ring the eye-candy.alret for, so far.
Su Jian Quan in the role of the General is (1) handsome and (2) manly and (3) a skilled fighter. I'd wish for a ML like him for a wuxia series, a man and not another sick and weak/pretending to be sick and weak softie.

Oh man!!!
Where do they find all those dumb and dull actresses to cast for the FLs...???
Permanent toothpaste grin, 08/15 acting skills, sweet but not really memorable and highly exchangable face ...
Is that really all they can find if they do the casting for a new show...???
And is that really all, the audience is content with...???
If yes, oh man, oh man...

The overacting is killing me. It is very distracting. And why this lead actress, Fair Xing, is mimicking Tan Songyun…
I couldn't agree more...

So it's a love triangle?
In the beginning, it was hard for me, too (I'm from Germany), but the more often I searched for historical facts, names, characters, actors, etc. it got easier and easier.

I think this has the first 38 eps. subbedhttps://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJPEbKQEnORNJMWEN2EscXe80kra2OZW9
The series has only 38 episodes. It's complete and fully subbed, meanwhile. They just didn't change it on here.

So it's a love triangle?
Yup! I agree! Seems to be a decent drama, too. Will add it to my watch list, but I want to finish some stuff, first, I've currently in the works.

Did u watch it already? Heard that the younger sister is already married by episode 8 or something?
Will give it a try when I'm done with a few series, I've in the works, right now.

So it's a love triangle?
Maybe, they end it with the Emperor's marriage to Empress Fu the Elder and add some Epilogue telling the rest of the story.
I found the historical facts quite interesting, especially the elder Fu sister: After her first marriage and after her first husband's suicide they tried to urge her to become a nun, but she refused and said: "Why should I deform my own body and hair?"

Nope, I didn't watch it all, yet. I just got curious about the historical Emperor and the historical Fu sisters and did some research on them. They must have been interesting personalities and if the series manages to chatch their characters well, it could be interesting.

So it's a love triangle?
The historical background here sounds nice, especially as the historical Emperor and the Fu ladies seemed to have been quite complex characters. If the series would follow their steps, it would be something refreshingly different.
