And the way he was blowing her hand since she said she was cold a while ago, the way he told her he would agree…
I’m obsessed with them 😭

He literally cut off his own leg and arm just to crawl to her… The way he kissed her hand 😭 Their acting in that scene was incredible. JZ and CDL did such an amazing job. They have to get a happy ending 🤧.

Yes , same director
Now I understand why some comments mention a bittersweet ending 😂😅. This director really loves dark, shadow-heavy scenes with a mysterious, almost gothic atmosphere. The artistic direction is particularly elegant, especially when it comes to the costumes.

Fangs of Fortune, My Journey to You, and Veil of Shadows have a really similar aesthetic. Could it be the same director? Because I really feel like the vibe is the same. Also, the cast of these three dramas is on another level visually🤌.

Oh my God, the cast is stunning! They’re all incredibly beautiful. No matter how the drama turns out, I’m diving in just for the visuals 😂.

Chen Du Ling, my queen, looks amazing here. I originally started Fangs of Fortune for the visuals, but I ended up really loving the story.

It looks pretty intense seems like Tian Jia Rui and Ju Jing Yi have three identities, with a relationship spanning multiple lifetimes?

I really enjoy female dynamics, especially the mix of friendship and rivalry, so I hope I’ll be well served.

I also watched both versions, but my biggest issue is that the iQIYI subtitles really aren’t great. I had already noticed it, but it’s quite frustrating because they’re often inaccurate. The first half was truly amazing, while the second half was a bit less engaging. Still, I got my happy ending and some really beautiful couple moments, so I’m satisfied. I’m also glad that the popularity of the two lead actors has skyrocketed we’ll definitely get to see them in more high-quality projects.

Title The Lament of Autumn Spoiler
by the looks of it, it will have a happy ending cause in all the pics and videos taken by fans, there is a wedding+I…
Thank you for the information, I’m even more excited now. It would be really great if the ending turns out to be happy, because I feel like they’re going to go through a lot of hardships, with misunderstandings and separations.

IT'S XIANXIA
Oh, so we’re in the celestial realms. When I watched the trailer, I had the impression that it was a xuanhuan, but on MDL it’s tagged as wuxia. Thanks for the information.

The trailer is so intense and incredible everyone looks stunning, and the sets are breathtaking. The special effects also look really well done.

Dilraba is so beautiful; she gives off such a mysterious aura, almost like a mythical creature. Arthur Chen is one of those actors whose acting is consistently excellent, and he also chooses very good projects. It looks like there will be a lot of manipulation in their relationship.

My first wuxia of the year, and visually, it truly feels like a dream.

Some ppl who've read the physical copy have said it's a sad ending we don't exactly know how the ending will be…
Thanks for your reply. I hope that if the ending is sad, they’ll change it, even though it won’t stop me from watching the drama. Happy endings are always nice.

Title Pursuit of Jade Spoiler
it's just a bit difficult to follow the discussion.. it's fun to discuss every new episode but now that all 40…
Unfortunately, it was predictable after a leak, everyone naturally looks for a place to share their excitement. This is exactly one of the consequences of such a situation.
If you really don’t want to be spoiled, the safest option is to avoid reading the comments here until the official release is complete. I’ve watched the episodes myself, and I’m sorry if I mentioned anything in the comments.

I’m not a saint I couldn’t resist the temptation. I don’t regret it, but since I plan to rewatch the last episodes several times 🫣🤭😂, I’ll watch them on the official platforms to support the drama.

Enjoy the episodes to those who are staying strong, and to those who continue watching on official platforms to support and respect the hard work of the production team and the actors my sincere respect for maintaining such strong self-discipline.

I truly loved this discussion page and the respectful debates with diverse opinions. All the love I’ve seen from so many of you for this masterpiece, as well as the positivity, will be missed.

See you for the next drama, hopefully 😊

How old is Xie Zheng in the drama? I remember there’s a flashback where he was around 10–13 years old training with Chang Yu’s father. Chang Yu is currently 19, but how old is he?

Because sometimes I see people saying he’s 21, but that early flashback definitely exists, so I’m a bit confused 🤔

Can someone explain this?

I understand your point, but I think there’s an important nuance. Sure, the Marquis has a name that inspires…
You have your own opinion, I have mine. I live by this saying: ‘It’s better to live with regrets than to die with remorse,’ or more simply: ‘It’s better to regret having acted than to regret not having acted.

I understand your point, but I think there’s an important nuance. Sure, the Marquis has a name that inspires…
Li Wenkan was not unconscious of his condition and knew exactly how to manage his troops, even while injured. To claim that his decision to continue fighting was reckless oversimplifies a complex character and ignores the context: his choice reflects his sense of duty, responsibility, and the example he sets for his soldiers. Even while wounded, he was ready to fight to the death, because on the battlefield, a single mistake can cost lives. Li Wenkan’s men were prepared to die alongside him, and logically, they followed Chang Yu not because they agreed with her judgment, but out of loyalty to their commander, knowing he would not flee and intended to fight despite the imminent danger.

Li Wenkan directs his troops and gives strategic commands in the heat of battle, using his experience and tactical insight to maximize their effectiveness. In contrast, Chang Yu, after leading the soldiers onto the battlefield, rushes at the enemy without strategy or formation, while the opposition has carefully prepared their defenses. Even injured, Li Wenkan is therefore far more useful to his men than Chang Yu, acting as a strategist and responsible leader rather than an impulsive heroine.

Chang Yu’s role is naturally highlighted because she is the protagonist: she can confront the opposing general and defeat him. But this does not diminish Li Wenkan’s value and effectiveness, which combine courage, leadership, and strategy, whereas Chang Yu’s actions rely more on instinct and individual bravery. Her intervention, though crucial for saving her master and avoiding feelings of helplessness, does not replace Li Wenkan’s strategic and inspirational role for his troops, nor justify labeling his decisions as reckless.

Li Wenkan embodies complete leadership: tactical skill, courage, and exemplary conduct, while Chang Yu acts on impulse and personal heroism. Military logic, narrative coherence, and character credibility all confirm that even while injured, Li Wenkan was the most effective and influential commander on the battlefield.
