this is the line which legit triggered her going back to the past , she ( his beloved ) legit came back to him…
Indeed, his beloved returned to him, but I still wonder how it is that his fate remained unchanged that he still ended up dethroned, and that history in the future only remembers him as a tyrant who met a tragic end. Is he truly destined for such a fate?
The novel wasn't that good for me, so I wasn't expecting anything crazy. The first episodes didn't really convince me. I like dramas with a quick start like (The Long Ballad) or (The Double) but here it's not the case, it's rather sloppy and you feel a lack of budget. I didn't really have any expectations but I'm mixed, the series doesn't really seem attractive to me so I'm going to wait for this drama to finish airing to watch it because I don't really feel the interest.
With The First Frost, we were all delighted that Sang Yan never gave up all these years; we were downright obsessed.…
I liked this drama especially the characters of Yintao and Qiaoxi, this ending despite the very good dialogues lacked a lot of things a little rushed I would have liked to see their cute little girl in this ending my expectations were a little too high despite myself.
With The First Frost, we were all delighted that Sang Yan never gave up all these years; we were downright obsessed. We also wanted Wen Yifan to let Sang Yan help him. When Yifan left so as not to involve SY, we were all understanding. We wanted SY to always keep Yifan in his heart. We understood her trauma and all wished that someone would come to her in her pain, hold her in their arms, and never let her go. Yet here, I see that many don't see men's traumas the way they do women. Men suffer too; they feel pathetic, miserable, can be cowards, and they can be at rock bottom. The problem here is that many end up thinking that men don't need someone who can heal, help, or hold hands if they're at their worst because men must necessarily not show their vulnerability, be more manly, courageous, and strong in their lives and their choices. This story isn't perfect, I grant you that point. The drama isn't completely perfect, I grant you that point as well. But I don't agree that Qiaoxi is so denigrated and judged as undeserving of Yintao's love when we see his misery, his suffering, and his intense love for her. He deserves to have someone who can love him, wait for him, and be understanding. All women love these qualities in a man, and some men also deserve women with these qualities. Why is SY so loved when he breathes, speaks, thinks, lives for Yifan, but when Yingtao does the same thing, she is considered an obsessive lunatic? Ask yourself the question. Both dramas are fiction and show a love and devotion that perhaps hardly exists in real life. We are all aware of this, but why love one and condemn the other? I want truly sincere answers, no hatred, please.
you rated the first frost a 10 when it's basically the same thing but role reversal, Sangyan had no respect for…
What you said reminded me of why most women prefer to be with men who love them instead of being with the person they love. Most men in reality are not that good: in a certain majority of cases, the men that women love and for whom they are willing to make sacrifices in reality rarely show gratitude or treat them well. Being with the person who loves you, chases you and cherishes you is better than being with a person who does not love you as much as you do. But here Jiang Qiaoxi loves Yintao more than himself.
She is the "key to his existence." I feel the producer left out his cousin from the earlier episode to…
In FIT and TFF, the end elispses in each episode maintained a subtle connection between the protagonists and we always discover SY's little hidden attentions or their little moments, in FIT through the elispses we discovered all the memorable moments of their childhood which strengthened their bonds. This strategy of not revealing the details until the very end while preserving the fog on Qiaoxi's life apart from her problems related to her parents was not a very good strategy because the viewers did not stop questioning the validity of their bonds because they consider that their time spent in childhood was too brief. But for me I felt that despite the lack of details shown, Qiaoxi's attachment to her despite these brief childhood moments perfectly illustrates his need and the reason for his attachment to her. Yintao as a child telling Qiaoxi's mother to give him more love confirms that she knew Qiaoxi's feelings and her need to be loved and that despite the distance she wanted to be faithful to their friendship and not deprive him of their relationship even if later there were misunderstandings between them. The novel will always remain more beautiful and touching for me because it is more detailed and intense. I think many felt frustrated because they came mainly for the actors and not for the story itself and even if some things are saved for the finale it will not bring back the screen time they hoped for for Linghe. SY was in every episode of TFF because they were roommates their screen time was well proportioned even if the plot revolved around Yifan. All the points you mentioned are also correct especially (the news that scenes from ZLH were deleted) it upset many people who developed a bad impression of the story. As a reader I have come to terms with the fact that an adaptation will never be truly similar or like the original novel (someone on this page made this point and they are right) but despite that I love this drama so much I understand the director's vision of Qiaoxi, he and Yingtao won me over and if some watch it to the end they too will fall under the spell of this drama.

episodes 19 and 20 are magnificent everything is so well done π₯Ή the next episodes will be in my opinion even better seeing them blossom in love and finally find peace together is just going to be incredible. The atmosphere of this drama is simply incredible, I understood what the director was trying to do but unfortunately all this mystery discouraged several viewers who did not have the patience to wait for the veil to be lifted. Not having added Jiang Ruocheng in Qiaoxi's life from the beginning minimized his importance in her life and not seeing him confide in his cousin his feelings and his need to be with Yintao made that for many Qiaoxi became an enigma because through Jiang Ruocheng some would have understood for a long time his personality his life problems the importance of Yintao for him and they would have understood that Qiaoxi never wanted to intentionally hurt Yintao when he loves him so much (he simply felt helpless in the face of difficulties). If Jiang Ruocheng had been added there would have been more interaction in the story from his own perspective and maybe the audience would have felt more attachment to him. There are still many people who understand the story and identify and sympathize with Qiaoxi but I would have loved so much for this drama to have reached all its audience in a positive way because it definitely deserves to be appreciated at its true value, but some of the production choices failed to please everyone and it's such a shame because Zhao Jinmai and Zhang Linghe deliver incredible performances here.
why didn't they include Jiang Ruocheng from the beginning when he has always been part of Qiaoxi's life, this cousin brother true friend and father figure, I can only blame the production for wanting to create mystery around Qiaoxi. Qiaoxi needs love so much ππ, he deserved this dazzling light that came into his life to illuminate his dark days Lin Yingtao thank you for loving Jiang Qiaoxi so much and never erasing him from your heart. Jiang Ruocheng and Jiang Qiaoxi would have deserved so much more screen time since the first episode their relationship should have even been further developed by the screenwriter because he is Qiaoxi's true friend, all the others are Yingtao's friends but he played the role of friend and parents in Qiaoxi's heart. Qiaoxi is a truly filial person; what Jiang Ruocheng did for him, he will never forget, and he did his duty to him (Qiaoxi's parents have such an incredible son, but they were such bad parents who don't deserve him). He loves Yingtao so much that he simply couldn't drag her into the spiral of misery, suffering, and uncertainty that the future has in store for her; he didn't want to be seen by her in these deplorable circumstances. Jiang Qiaoxi has always known a brilliant Yintao, loved and pampered by her family and friends. He wanted to leave her in this radiant world where she can continue to shine. But he is unable to let go; after all, Yingtao is his addiction, his everything. me after episode 19πππ€§
Let's be honest we are all human we all have selfish side, he wanted her to know that he loved her because it was maybe the last chance he had to let her know. It was so obvious that he was suffering from having to leave her, for this last meeting he could not bring himself to see her broken in front of him by his words when he knew that his actions would hurt her. None of us are gods or even saints.
He didn't reject Yintao's love, he was ready to let her go because his cousin's situation wasn't optimistic, his life prognosis was engaged and there was a strong chance that he wouldn't recover. He hoped that she wouldn't forget him, that she would keep him in her mind as this brilliant young man with full of hope for the future. Jiang Qiaoxi has always known a bright Yintao loved and pampered by her family and friends, she has never known the true misery associated with a life of uncertainty about the future, he wanted to leave her in the bright world in which she lives. He himself is worn down by difficulties and tested by life feeling the anxiety of perhaps not succeeding in getting back on his feet how could he impose this reality on Yintao, let her see his misery look at him with pity and worry about him when she was only just beginning to live adulthood. He knows Yintao if he had told her everything she would have tried to adapt her life her choices her school options to stay by his side and support him, this girl would have been ready to put her dreams aside for him he knew that Yintao would take time before turning the page but Yingtao was ready to stop talking to him and tried to forget him after their reunion in high school he thought that after having known new horizons he would no longer be as important (because in his heart he thinks he is the one who needs their relationship the most). Qiaoxi's choice to not tell him anything allowed Yintao to continue her life, her studies and discover new things and meet new people. Maybe Yintao continued to question and worry about him but she sincerely avoided putting her life on hold to be with him, especially since at the time he left his situation was even more catastrophic. For me he owes her an apology but this boy has run enough in life he needs understanding and love. He always had to grow up too fast without having the opportunity to enjoy his childhood and adolescence, even his departure into adulthood was trying without the possibility for him to take a break. He doesn't see life in a simple way. Explaining it to her would have had repercussions, and not telling her would have had repercussions as well. He just made the choice that seemed to be the most beneficial for her, even though even he needed support at that time.
Jiang Qiaoxi has no real friends in this drama who actually care about him, everyone else is just Lin Yingtao's friends. They should have developed Qiaoxi's relationship with his uncle because he is his only friend, his father figure and the only other person besides Yingtao who truly understands and supports him. In this drama Jiang Qiaoxi really has nothing for him, only the unconditional love Yintao has for him. for a drama centered on youth he is only a simple extra without real importance in the friendship which links all the other characters
I especially hope that the director of SHINE ON ME will stick to the novel. Because lately, productions take too…
There's too much drama with [Blossom] π, but it's true that the title doesn't match the story. His performance in Everlasting Longing was really bad, the script and the lead actress didn't help. Youthful Glory looks like a low-budget drama with a passable script and the actors' performances were a bit... But Song Weilong is one of those actors who has incredible visuals so I always watch what he does π
